I have been going there since they opened. The last 3 times was a poor job. They do not paint the nails all the way to cuticle. I was there Saturday afternoon and the male owner did them and now it is Monday and they look a week old already. All 3 times they said it was the color I picked that caused this. I can’t afford to go there again when it only lasts 3 days. I would give it zero stars but that wasn’t an option. Made an appt for me and my daughter and still 30 minutes later wasn’t helped. They had taken so many walk ins all pedicure chairs were taken , they let another walk in go back ahead of me. I already spent 30 minutes waiting for an arranged appt with no help in sight. They were over packed !! We left and will never be going back. No eye contact , no help telling where to pick out a color while we waited !!! Worst place I’ve every been too !! I’ve had my nails done here before and they were great but the last time I brought a friend. We both had a bad time. We both got a pedicure and manicure. We knew the cost was going to be more because we wanted acrylic but my friend tried to acrylic nails but the lady said no no I’ll have I charge you more and went on to just painting her nails so she didn’t get what she asked for. Then I got my nails done and I asked for them shaped and they shaped not even close to what I asked for which did cost me a extra $5 so I thought they would be the shaped I asked for which was almond but they aren’t almond. They were crooked and way too long. I even asked for them to shorten them but they didn’t hear me I guess. I also got them painted white but they turned yellow 3 days later for some odd reason. Usually they stay white until I get them filled in again. So I took the polish off and it looks like there was air bubbles under my pointer and ring finger nails. The person was rushing through it even though there was no wait. I wish my nails were as good as the first time I got them because other than that the staff was nice but they didn’t pay attention to the details. Read Less

Best pedicure I have ever had! The French Shellac manicure is done really well also. Only advise I would give is to not leave as much shellac on the tips of fingers, but I know it comes off on shower so no biggy (just wouldn't want that hanging around if I had plans later the same day) Read Less

They always have a lot of nail techs working which is awesome! You can walk right in without having to wait usually. My pedicure was amazing! I was not rushed, even with it being busy. I love when I don't feel like I am being rushed because I feel like I am getting what I pay for. They have a huge color selection for gel polish and regular polish (I only got regular polish this time). They also having matching polish for the gel so you can get either or. I like this place - don't love it. I've been there a few times and my nails are pretty good when I leave but they always end up lifting. I called and made appointments for my husband and I to get pedicures and manicure for him (fill for me). He said he felt like 'a second class citizen' and nothing was done equal to mine. I have to admit, he was right. Even after calling and making appointments, on more than one occasion, I had to wait and they still had no idea what I was there for. It was like I had never called. The lady that usually does the pedicures is pretty awful at it. I may allow them to paint my toes but that's it. The shellac is nice and has stayed on for weeks. Read Less

Over priced for subpar service, the pedi was good but the mani is horrible, my cuticles aren't cut back, my nails are all different lengths, the girl wasn't giving my shellac the full time under the light and as a result the mani that should have lasted two weeks is peeling after one week. I have come here multiple times for pedicure. It is steadily getting worse. My polish has chipped/smudged after less than 24 hours, and that is after drying for over 20 minutes in the salon. I am pretty sure it is due to the salon thinning the polish with acetone. After multiple times with this happening, I went back in to it fixed. They were very rude and told me that I didn't let it dry long enough and it was my fault. I will be talking my business elsewhere and not dealing with their rude attitudes!! Read Less

Called made appointment showed up waited 20 mins! Asked for shellac and asked if they could fix two nails that ripped , they put acrylic on all my nails filled them all on angles. Not happy. Never going again!!!!!! Read Less

One of the most half assed pedis I've ever gotten. The water was cold. She diddnt even rub my feet even after I asked because she must not have understood me. Nail First was recommended to me by a friend and I'm grateful to have a quality and inexpensive nail salon near me! The service is quick and affordable ($25 for a shellac manicure and $8 for eyebrow wax). They didn't take reservations the day I went, but it was a holiday weekend. In any case, I only had to wait about 15 minutes.  My polish looked great for 2+ weeks. Definitely worth checking out! Read Less

Love this place. I've been going there for two years. I drive a hour for the AMAZING pedicures. I've never once been disappointed. They don't have the best selection of polish, so sometimes I just bring my own. My family looks forward to Christmas and birthdays because I give gift certificates to Nail First. Don't even bother making an appt. here -- they don't care - all they care about is making that extra buck if someone comes in 5 mins before your appt!!  I am tired of it and seen too many women upset when they arrive and still have to wait.  I made an appt two days ago for my daughter who is 9 months  pregnant and myself.  I repeated the dynamics that I want "my tech" to give my daughter the Premium pedi and someone else can  give me a fill-in.  Then when "my tech"  is done with my daughter's pedi. someone else can give her mani and my tech can wax "my face."  Ha what a joke that was!  Daughter was taken within 5 mins.  I sat for 25!!!! How stupid is this - she figured when she was done with daughter - she will service me.  Seriously!!!!  I even saw a tech leave and go to lunch!!! Like we have nothing better to do but sit there 3 to 4 hours.  I specified this with owner when I made appt.  AND SHE IS A WHOLE OTHER STORY!  You don't know who the owner is unless you ask.  She lets everyone else greet customers. I am tired on how customers get treated!!! They know "us women" will wait it out for the most part.  I actually left and went for a coffee.  I come back and sit waiting for my daughter and they have the nerve to ask YOU WANT FILL IN - ha  please .  You lost a good customer and a good tipper.  I hope you lose more.  People are tired of putting up with this bad customer service!!!!!!! I'm from Clinton township, But I was out in the new Baltimore area today, I saw the bad reviews on here  for pedicures but I was just going in for a fill in, so I gave the salon the benefit of the doubt. I picked out a magnet nail polish if you don't know what that is, you apply the nail polish then the top of the cap is a mini magnet that you put over the nail and it makes a line color, it takes about 1 second on each nail. She gave me the fill in and then asked me what color I wanted and I handed get the magnet nail polish. She painted my nails and then went to apply the top coat, with out putting the magnet over to make the swirl, and I said oh what about the magnet, she said that using the magnet would be an extra $1.00 a nail!!!!!!!! I said excuse me what, she said each nail is $1.00 extra, I said wait are you serious, she laughed and then Started talking Chinese or whatever they speak to her co workers and they all proceeded to look at me, laugh, and talk their language so I didn't know what they were saying. She also charged me extra to file my nails shorter. These people are greedy money hungry monsters up charging you for stuff that's not even necessary. If I knew she wasn't going to use the magnet I would of chose a totally different color. And of I knew how damn rude these people were I would of never wasted my money. Do not go here. I have been going to this salon forever.  I first got my nails done here in 1997 for my wedding.  All of my bridesmaids and my mom went with me.  After a couple of years,  I stopped coming out here because it was a far drive from where I lived.  After moving to this area in 2010, I started going back.  LOVE them!  They are great.  Sophia and Ann do an amazing job.  They are unfortunately, booked or taking walk ins so much that sometimes they don't get a break to eat.  People need to understand that they are people just earning a living.  I haven't had a bad set of nails or a bad pedicure since I started going there. It was the absolute worse nails that I have ever had done and the two people working had the worse attitude with us.They even cut us using the file. I had to go home and redo them myself. I don't usually go in to get pedicures but for some reason, my girlfriend was able to drag me in to this nail salon she has been going to for years. I'm an athlete so my feet are pretty rough and have plenty of calluses. Anyway, by the end of my pedicure, my feet felt baby smooth and that has just made me rethink the whole world of pedicures. haha. Anyway, I went in and was automatically greeted by the owner who was extremely nice and was escorted to one of those comfy, huge chairs they have to soak my feet in. The ladies were all very nice and accommodating and my girlfriend, obviously had a good time. The prices were surprisingly very cheap, or it was to me. I expected to pay a lot more for the services they provided. They cleaned, scrubbed, and massaged my feet which felt amazing.Anyways, I definitely recommend this place and will totally come back again to get another pedicure! Read Less

Absolutely the worst pedicure I've ever gotten.  Aside from it looking sloppy, the overall experience was terrible.  The owners two young children were running around bothering customers.  My husband entertained one of them nearly the entire time we were there.  Get a babysitter!!!  I usually opt for an express pedicure at most salons, thus place had four options for pedicures, why?  Gross markup for things included in a normal pedi.  I waited with my feet in the water for nearly 15 minutes, and once the technician got there, she said she had to eat first, sorry for the wait.  Once I picked their inexpensive option, I was rushed through and out of the chair.  I paid $25 for horrible service, loud children, and a dirty salon. I went there to get my nails done and a pedicure. First they wouldn't do my nails because of the condition ( I have a genetic condition that makes my nails weak and soft but I can't do anything unless I have something over them) and when I tried to explain that's how my nails are they still refused. Then the guy who did my pedi did a horrible job, he left dead skin, barely trimmed my cuticles, left nail polish. My toes barely looked like they were filed. My sister in law swears by this place but I wouldn't recommend them and I'm definitely not returning. Read Less
