I have been coming here for a little over a year now and absolutely LOVE it! I always see Mel, who is a complete sweetheart. She makes me and my daughter feel like we are in a home away from home. Have had amazing experiences each and every time. I would also like to add that the nail designs Mel does are INCREDIBLE. Although I only see Mel, all of the girls are phenomenal. Very courteous, kind and funny! I love the joking and teasing. Like I said, makes you feel at home. Best nail salon around! I’ve never been dissatisfied in the slightest. The ladies who work here are fun and friendly. They treat everyone fairly and respectfully. I’ve heard people complain that they advertise they take walk-ins (which they do) yet they don’t have available appointments at that time...it’s because they’re booked...which is because they’re awesome! I recommend calling ahead to reserve an appointment. Don’t waste your time walking in anywhere else it’s just not worth it. The value and the service you get here is amazing, period. My "African American" mother visited this location today and she said that she felt totally disrespected. She arrived between 9 to 9:30 am and as she walked in the salon, one of the lady's asked if she needed help (with attitude ... or like my mom didn't belong there - this is what my mom felt). My mother said that she wanted to get her nails done. The lady said (with attitude) you need to make an appointment before you get your nails done here. My mom said fine, what is good time today. The lady then walked to the back and disappeared for a few mins (probably hoping that she would leave) then returned to say "oh, the next free time is 4pm this afternoon, but give me your number and I will call you"... Who does that and have a successful business?! Long story short....If you are African American, do not come here unless you want to be disrespected. I did not like them at all! These are not coffin nails. I wanted them longer. The middle fingernail is misplaced too.I paid $30 For this I'm not even from around this city I have a construction business and this is the only nearest place. Around my area I get them done for $20 and much better quality they don't have to use the clippers at all to get them formed into coffin, and this place used them which I did NOT like! Read Less

Love the people and the salon. The place is very clean, the girls are super sweet and all joke around with you. It makes it feel like a second home rather then just rushing you in and out, Some people may take it as being rude but its all in fun and games. My nails don't even look like the 'coffin nails' and was given an attitude the whole time then when accidentally being touched by another person in the dryer I was asked "now what.." when trying to explain I needed it fixed.. never again. While visiting the area, I wanted to get my nails done before traveling home. I normally do my own gel polish but due to quick turn around travel I had limited time and thought I'd try and find a place in town. I saw the walk-in sign and thought this should work out fine. The only gel brand that they carry is Shellac-No Opi or Gelish. Are you kidding me? I wasn't happy but I looked at the colors then I sat and waited. I was on my way to work so I was worried about being there waiting. There was one lady there waiting for her customer who had am appointment and she indicated the technician who would be taking care of me. I had on Gel polish which has to soak off or fool wrapped but no one started this process. After about 20minutes. I got up and left. So why one star? Because it's the lowest choice available. I didn't find anyone personable. I didn't care to sit doing nothing. I didn't want to get to work late. I got on my Yelp app and found JNS Nails practically across the street and down one block. OMG what a difference. Great personalities and taken right away. Enjoyed my conversations with them. If I'm ever back in the area, I know where to go and will steer clear of this place. Read Less

Not a fancy salon, but they make you feel very welcome.  I went for the first time yesterday.  I called for a spur of the moment appointment at 6.  Despite being busy (surprisingly busy for a Monday night, seemed to be regulars), they took me at 6:30 for a mani pedi and they close at 7!   I had 2 people working on me, and I no problem having this a bit rushed, especially since I found out they closed at 7!  They were great.  Great hand and foot/leg massage.  They were efficient, funny, and a great group of ladies!  Thanks Sam for taking me on short notice and providing great service.  To the girl that have me the pedicure, (sorry, I didn't catch your name) thank you as well.  GREAT job on the toes!  I will be back!
