A horrible experience! Mike was my technician. He cut my cuticle on my toe first, I thought it was an accident. I would come to realize he just doesn't know how to cut cuticles. My index finger on my left hand started to bleed, so he put glue on it, to stop it from bleeding. My cuticles literally have ridges cut in them. I've never experienced anything like this before. And to top things off I was quoted one price, and they attempted to charge me more. Needless to say I will NEVER go here again. And I will let everyone I know not to patronize this establishment! Had a male do a simple manicure and pedicure. Owner seems arrogant. The technician did a good pedicure. The manicure I requested clear coat 3 times and he put a top coat for acrylics. If it wasn't for the price, I would go here more. I paid $68 for a basic pedicure and shellac manicure (which seemed quite high to me). They take credit cards (few nail salons seem to) and the salon was nice and clean and all of the employees seemed very nice.  Plus my manicure lasted more than two weeks. I love how clean and modern it feels in here. The people and services are great, however, I just fell out of my chair when they told me the price. Regular mani and regular pedi is $53 plus tip. A pedi with French (which I expect a $5 up charge for the French) and a mani with shellac would have been $73 plus tip. That just seems ridiculously high. To be fair, prices are posted and it’s my fault for not checking, however, as a 20 year veteran to having nails done, I know these are high prices. Even the gal working here agreed. The nail tech didn’t say one word to me the entire time, which is fine, but then proceeded to put the wrong nail color on my nails by the time I noticed she was already going so I didn’t say thing. I wanted to try this place over my regular place just because it is closer to my house. So I went for my first time today and I wasn’t unsatisfied but I will just continue to go to my regular place. I got a pedicure and it was almost $10 more then where I usually go, but I decided to give it a chance anyway. And the actual pedicure was good, you get a good service of massaging and even a hot steam towel. But when I got up the towel fell over on my wet nails and the I told the technician. He went to go fix it but he only just painted over it. So the polish wasn’t smooth and I had polish on my skin. He also didn’t put a clear coat ontop of the new polish. I then waited around 15-20 mins and my polish still wasn’t dry, even when it was under the dryer. I do understand I could get shellac but it costed like $20 more just to get shellac which isn’t a good deal for me. In the end my polish just wasn’t drying even after I waited awhile under the dryer. When I got home the nail polish was ruined because one of them was stuck to my sock and even the one that felt dry before had now had ridges. I understand that it wasn’t the technicians fault, but I shouldn’t have to wait over 20 mins for them to be dry. When I personally have never done that before any where else and they were under the dryer the whole time. I now wish I didn’t even get one because I paid $33 before tip to just have to go home and it be ruined. Read Less

First visit was good. Nail tech, Emily, recommended Gel.  I was pleased with results. Good for 3 weeks and seemed to strengthen my nails and promote growth.  Next visit was just okay.  I had an appointment but had to wait. They took a walk-in before me.  Final visit was just that. I'd never go back.  What appeared to be meticulous work really was a tech putting too many brushes on each nail but not covering the nail AND getting polish on my cuticles, wiping it off (along with some polish on my nail) and then starting the process over again.  When I got home and took a closer look they really looked bad and one was already lifting. I called and they said they'd fix them.  Another 1.5 hours spent going back and getting them "fixed".  I think it was the owner who did them.  Rather than soaking the polish off, he used his electric sanding wheel.  My nails ended up like paper.  That was a few weeks ago and my nails are still not fully repaired. This was my second time coming here, the first was good. This time I paid $90 to get nicked not once but 3 times! Had I noticed the third time I would have walked out!  The Nail Tech was very apologetic  however I can go else where and get a gel Mani/Pedi for way less and not get injured. This place is terrible!!! These picture were taken 45 mins after I left. The girls cut my nails so straight on my toes and didn't round the edges so they will eventually grow into my skin. You can see the bottom of my feet look awful and this is literally right after. I had this same service last time I was there and felt like everyone deserves a second chance. I gave that to them yesterday and my service was worse this time then last. Not to mention I called three other nail places in the area and Gorgeous nails prices were $15 more for the same exact service. Shellac with a pedicure costs me $68 here everywhere else $53. My daughters mani & pedi was $53 here everywhere else $35.I spoke with Kevin the owner and he did nothing. normally when I get my nails done it takes an hour but this lady did them in like 30 minutes. I asked for them to be cut down and she didn't do that. so I asked again and she finally did it and when I ask her for my coffin shape mind you this is had coffin shaped nails when I came in she said they charget extra for that. and then when she painted them it looked like a 2 year old did it. I'm very unpleasant, I didn't even want to pay her. my nails were super thick the Polish looks terrible that shape is not what I asked for. my nails look super bumpy and not smooth. when i walked in I asked how much it was for a fill in 20$ and when I walked out I payed 25$. she charged me and extra 5$ for shape which I've never heard. will never be going to them again. Great place. First time visit. Would definitely go back. Very clean and staff was super friendly. We were greeted right away and as walk in's only waited 5 minutes. Was not happy with my first experience at this salon. Seemed like an assembly line to me. Very unfriendly. Just get the job done. Finally asked techs name and that was end of conversation. Did not speak english well. Asked if I wanted my brows done or pedicure. Noticed other techs asking same question of clients. My manicure was not not good. Top coat was not smooth on left hand. Glad I bought my own polish. Did it myself when I got home. If you go for a manicure they should not be pushing other services so you can make more money. Terrible, terrible, terrible job! Don't get fooled by the great things like them wearing rubber gloves and using a plastic cover in the water bowl. It was for the most part clean, but I'm pretty sure someone was smoking in the building and they were all pushy and a bit rude, I hate when it feels like they're speaking in a foreign language about you. They used a drummel on my toes, I've never experienced that before. She used her nippers to cut and then rip my nail up the side of my toe...ouch! I have been coming here for a bit now and love Emilie. She does a great job, and is always so sweet. I always schedule with her and have always been happy with her work. However, today was the second time in about 2 months that I have had an appointment, which i made and very clearly indicated it was with Emilie, only to arrive for my scheduled appointment and have her be unavailable and unable to locate my name in the appointment book. Both times I spoke with a male, though ...I dont know if it was the same person. The first time I had wanted to come in earlier in the day and he told me she wasnt available until later, so I took the later appointment only to arrive and find her with a client who has a regular, standing appointment at that time. Today, I arrived for a 430pm appt that I had made via phone ealier in the day, only to find that she had just begun a mani-pedi appt and had no knowledge of my appointment (not her fault) I understand mistakes happen, but this is twice. I wasnt able to come back at a later time to see Emilie, so I had to be seen by someone else. The end result is fine- my nails look nice..BUT...I was charged more by this person, than I ever have been, and when I asked I was told it was an additional $3 to have a "cut down" I didn't have any nails cut, I had an acrylic fill in. I did have them filed a bit, as I do EVERY appointment, to keep my nails the same length, I have NEVER been charged extra to have my nails filed during a fill!???? Also, once he applied three coats of polish he asked if I wanted to "use a dryer"...which of course I said yes. Any other time I have been walked over to the dryer and my nail tech has carried purse/keys and turned on dryer because, of course- my nail are wet. This gentleman just pointed in the direction of the dryers, and told me to "be careful " as I was trying to grab my purse, phone and keys. This was truly one of the BEST experiences I have ever had going to a nail salon. The owner, Kevin, is just one of the most genuine and kind business owners you can experience! He cares about his business, he cares about his customer and it shows. His establishment is so VERY CLEAN and they are sanitary! HUGE IMPORTANT thing in the nail world. He stayed open late just for me once out of the kindness of his heart when they were ready to go home because that is the kind of business owner he is and that is the kind of business he runs. My sister goes here on a regular basis. When I was in town visiting I went with her so we could get pedicures. The spa was really busy that day and we didn't have appointments, but they fit us in anyway. My tech did a great job on my pedicure and was very meticulous about how it looked. My first time.  Was crowded. Waited for 30 minutes in chair them another 25 in pedicure chair waiting on a nail tech. Pedicure was fine.  Manicure resulted in nails with bubbles....I could have done that myself at home. Price on Web site stated $45 for mani/pediatrics. Was told that was out of date and it was $53!! It's a brand new place!Told the manager I was dissatisfied with the quality for the amount I paid, he Dai O could have a seat and they would fix it. Been there a few times and this will be my last. The tech refused to do as my daughter wanted because it "wouldn't" look good. Now she has too long of nails for work and half are pointed half are almond shape and half well not sure but feel so rough not sure what was done. BTW these were fills so they were shorter. I had a shellac manicure and the girl started digging at my nails to get the shellac off. Even after asking her to stop it kept doing. I asked for them to be cut down slightly she clipped way more than half and some are down to skin. I have a few nails where one side is square and one side is rounded. Booked my wedding party here about a week ago. They separated one of my girls from the party when we had open seats next to us. Leaving her feeling excluded! Came in with a picture of the nail art I wanted! A painted bridal dress and tux design on the 4th finger. I was told it wouldn't be a problem! Turns out it was. Near the end I was told no one could do that in this salon and plain would be better. After I complained and stated that it would have been nice to know this inf...o to begin with I was told they could do it. I sat and waited a half hour for this to be done. They added rhinestones to the dress and placed them completely crooked, refusing to fix them. I got my toes done too which chipped faster than I've ever had any polish chip. Got my nails done today. All I wanted was a full set of acrylic. They kept pushing shellac over acrylic. I said no three times. Finally I gave in. Then they wanted to push an extra $15 cosmic shellac. When I said no way, the old guy got snippy. These nails are hideous. They are lumpy, uneven, not the same length and just plain ugly. LOVE LOVE LOVE this salon. It is so clean, staff is so friendly and the deluxe pedicures are amazing. I reccommend spending the little extra and getting the deluxe. They take their time, no rush and ensure that youre getting what you pay for. Wont go anywhere else for a pedi now. I walked in on a Friday around noon and everyone was very friendly and nice. They asked a lot of questions to make sure you got exactly what you wanted. I had a regular pedicure and acrylic manicure which was 65$. Emily did my nails and she was very nice, welcoming and did a wonderful job. I went in to Gorgeous not too long after they opened, it was for fill ins and to replace a few nails, I had been going all around trying to find a permanent nail salon, one that was clean, the employees actually appreciated you coming in there, were knowledgeable about your nails and the products they use on them. I was so happy to find my place that opened so close to my home!!! The first time i went in it ended up being right before they were closing and they took me anyway..., even though my fill ins would take longer and they would end up being there later. So sweet of them going out of their way! It was dark when I finally left and didnt notice a drill mark on one of my nails. I called the next day and they said come right in and we will for sure fix it, when I went in, they took all the polish off all of my nails and went over all of them just to make sure they were all perfect. For free, no complaints, all smiles, very apologetic, that would NEVER have happened at any other salon. They do offer and show you the sweet fancy special things they have and when you say no they dont continue to pressure you about it. This salon has class, as do the employees. My friend told me to try out her new nail salon last and I'm seriously hooked! When you walk in its beautiful and really clean. This salon is fabulous! Ive tried many salons in the area but this one by far exceeded my expectations. My nails turned out so beautiful.
