It would be in your best interest to never go to this bar. Not only did we pay for our drinks in cash at the end of the night but they also charged my boyfriend's card and added a large tip for themselves on it. Also, if there is live band, you will be charged at the end of the night or a couple days later when they feel adding it to your credit card. A great band called The Damn Band played the night we were there. They were great, and played songs from the 70s through the 2000s. Sound was good, not too loud for the size of the room. Drink prices are almost at strip bar levels, so make sure you're paying cash for your rounds or you will be very surprised when you get the bill at the end of the night. Read Less

We went for a birthday party, had about 20 people there. The waitress was an asshat. Slow, inattentive, forgetful. I wish I had gotten her name. I ended up going up to the bar to get my drinks. Atmosphere is ok. Normal hole-in-the-wall bar. Nothing special. The band, voodoo karma, was alright. They butchered a few songs but overall I'd give them a 3 out of 5 as well. Read Less

The place is a bar, not much to expect. It's not hard to find. I went to see a band playing and I enjoyed the atmosphere. It's seems very much like a biker bar, which is more than fine with me. The place was packed, they do have a open space for those that want to dance or mosh. They have a juke box, dart boards and they sell lottery. They have bar food, which I didn't have. •The waitress was extremely nice and friendly. She helped me decide on a new drink order, since I wanted to try something different from what I always get. She even said she'd make sure the bartender made it the "good way," because it varies a lot. •The con was that there was a rock band playing that night and it was LOUD. Painfully so. It's not a huge building, but we weren't sitting by the stage and I still felt like I was standing directly in front of a speaker at a concert. I'm all for live music. They weren't even a bad band! But this was just invasive. I had gone there with an old friend whom I hadn't talking to in years, to catch up. Instead of a nice chat, I spent the 40 min we were there screaming to be heard and plugging my ears as subtly as I could (it wasn't subtle). My advice would be to definitely check before you go, see what's going on that night, and don't just swing in off the street expecting a quiet bar (like we did). The Rum Runner was good though! I went there last night to drink some beer and watch a friend's band play.  I payed my money at the door and went to the bathroom and then ordered a beer.  After I payed for my beer, the bartender informed me that the manager wanted me to remove my "colors" or I had to leave.  Pretty gutless to make the bartender do the dirty work, especially after I'd already payed to get into the bar and bought my beer.  The guy at the door could have told me as well as the manager himself, as I walked past him to use the bathroom.  So I drank my beer and left.  On the way out, I saw a piece of paper on the door, which I hadn't seen coming in, stating no "motorcycle apparel ".   That sounds very vague as well as discriminatory.  First of all, I don't belong to a 1%er club.  Second, "motorcycle apparel " can mean just about anything.  This bar is not motorcycle friendly and I will never be back, nor will any of my friends, as I've posted this story on my social media page as well. Don't judge, this place has exactly what you need in a sports bar. Happened upon this spot when in the neighborhood and looking for place to throw darts, and they may have a record number of dart boards. After two weeks off we decided it was time for another burger. having passed a rusty nail I just knew it would be a good time. The rusty really looks like an old strip club, no windows, and sort of set back of the road by itself. We walk in the place is dimly lit tons of dart boards and the big stage area for a band. there was around 10 different draft beers on tap and a 16 oz PBR would only be a dollar fifty. The menu is simple you can get a burger, then you can add mushrooms, bacon, or cheese. These are all for a nominal fee of course. Still the burger is big enough and the price is good enough that I ordered my burger with pepper jack, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and onion all for $5.50.Burger -4 full a taste!Price -4Service-4 Overall -4The other burger had just lettuce, and tomato.
