I have acrylic. This place rushed on my nails. They asked if I wanted them cut, I said no.... they cut them. In the middle of my nails beimg done, I got a new person to finish them. I asked for them to cut my actual nail done, they didn't and then put acrylic on top of it... it shouldn't had a tip on it first. I will NOT go back. And I payed $30 for this. Read Less

LD Nails is legit. Sure... it's not the most luxurious nail salon. Its pretty basic and there doesn't seem to be anything special about them that stands out. But the service and the nail work that is done is where they shine. I can have my shellac on my nails for 3 weeks and there still won't be any chips or lifts. They layer it just right so that its on there for the long run, which I love. I usually go during my lunch break and they get me in and out of there really fast (I hiughly suggest making an appointment ahead of time as they can get busy). Seems as though the lady in charge and her husband is always is rude when I come in. All because I had a preference of a nail tech at one point. I come quite often and they seem to always put people in front of me purposely without even asking me. And they only service those first who tip over the normal amount. I will not be back the final product is not that good anyway and I always have to come back for a fix. Read Less

Today I went for a walk-in manicure​-pedicure​... although I had to wait for about 20 minutes before there was a seat available, it was well worth the wait. The technician spent about 35 minutes massaging my legs and feet before putting on polish- I swear I could have fallen asleep in the chair from how soothing it was! When we move to my manicure the technician spent about 10 minutes massaging my hands and arms... Again, incredibly soothing. This is probably the best manicure-pedicure that I've had in a long time, if not ever. Read Less

I've just started going to this salon and had shellac done for the first time. My first visit was wonderful, my friend and I made an appointment but still had to wait quite a while which was fine since we weren't in a rush and the guy who did my nails was very nice. He did a fantastic job and I was completely sold on shellac. My second visit I went as a walk in and waited an hour. A girl did my nails and I felt like she was maybe new because she rushed through my nails, accidentally cut my thumb nail and had to use a fake nail to fix it. She also didn't put enough polish on and you could see my nail through the color, it should have had another coat. Also something was on my pinky nail when she finished and there was a spot because of it. I wish I had asked the first guy who did my nails his name so I could specifically request him, my friend had the same girl another time and had the same not so great experience. Was very unhappy today. My two daughters and I have gone here quite often and the service had been pretty good. My 15 year old went tonight to get her full set and that's 23.00 minus the 10% student discount. The man finished her nails and said 23.00...I said what about the student discount and he said he did that it was 25.00 before the discount..I looked on the wall of prices and said it's only 23.00 and he said but her nails were long??? What ??? They clip the nail as long or short as you want and nothing says if you don't get them very short there is an extra charge!!! I said what...we have come here so many times and were never charged extra and he just said ....long nails... I hope the extra 2.00 they received for "long nails" was satisfying to them because we are not returning there again...for the 2.00 they lost 3 customers who will be trying the salon at 15 mile and Garfield next time!!
