My nail tech, Amina Tran, recently started working at the Mint. I have been a customer of hers for years so wherever she goes, I go. I was very pleasantly surprised with the large size, decor and general ambience of the salon. Everyone is so friendly, professional and the place is really pretty. You can truly relax there. This salon is super clean and very professional. The techs are not talking to each other but talk to you. There is music on and it is very relaxing inside. Very disappointed in this salon. I heard nothing but good things and read good reviews about this nail salon and so I decided to try them and get a dip manicure (refill). It started out good and turned sour very quickly. For starters she didn't take the old dip completely off so when she went to put the new dip on I still had old dip left on. I questioned her and she told me that it was my nail but I was able to peel the old dip up to show them that it wasn't in fact my nail,... however she did nothing about it. I didn't receive the manicure part, she never once clipped my cuticles. I asked and she said she does it after the nails are done and never did it. A week later and my nails are already lifting and peeling due to the old dip being left on. The salon is very nice inside but the people they have working for them are very under qualified.
