I met Christina in January this year (2016) after have a bad experience with lash extensions elsewhere. She squeezed me into her schedule and was honestly amazing, sorting out my lashes making them look as beautiful as I had imagined, actually no, even more so. I guess as cliche as this sounds 'the rest is history'. I have been going to Christina and occasionally Chelsea (who is such a sweetie!) every two weeks since then. I'm incredibly active (gym, running...) so not having to wear mascara is the best! I have been going to this salon for years now for lashes, nails and pedicures. I have had services from both Christina and Chelsea and have always had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere is very friendly, happy and professional. The salon is clean and tasteful. Chelsea has been doing my lashes for years and they are gorgeous! I get so many complements on them! Bliss has unlicensed employees working on clients, which is very illegal..& extremely unsafe. No one working there is licensed to do any sort of facial waxing, but they offer & perform those services. After finding out all of this, talking to my cosmetology school instructor, & really seeing the risks of working here, I decided to quit. The owner then proceeded to blackmail me into staying & working for her. I honestly think the owner & the other girl that work there are incredibly nice, & I appreciate how much they appreciated me and welcomed me..but niceness doesn't dismiss you from the fact that you are doing very unsafe illegal things. You could really hurt someone if you are not properly trained & if you haven't had the proper schooling. Plain & simple. ...Plus honestly how fair is it to higher a girl that spent thousands of dollars on schooling for this job, & the other girl you work with didn't have to pay a dime, does the same stuff you're certified to do, & gets paid more. You can't be performing services you are not licensed to do, & you certainly can't have unlicensed employees working on the public/clients. You have to be a certified esthetician or cosmetologist & licensed in the state of Michigan to do any form of body waxing..and neither the owner or the other employee are, yet they perform those services. You have to be certified nail tech and/or cosmetologist & licensed in the state of Michigan to perform nail services..and one of the employees working there is not but performs those services. Went in for an eyelash refill.  Was quoted $65 and then when I went to pay it jumped to $85.  Not cool!   Pricing for all services are equivalent to downtown Chicago, not some little owner decorated unit in Brighton, MIchigan!Also, when I called to make my a first appt. I was told that the lashes were REAL mink.  During the refill process, tech stated that they were faux mink.  Also not cool!I won't be returning!! Read Less
