While the service I received was amazing the process of making an appointment is beyond frustrating. Since my first time going to Color Box every time I’ve called to make an appointment they have been booked. Not only that but I’ve been scolded and told that I should really call more in advance. Knowing that I called this morning for an appointment Friday afternoon for myself and a friend. I was told that they were booked and couldn’t accommodate two. There was no attempt to see what they could do to make it work, when the woman didn’t see any opening she just ended the call. I would really love to get my nails done here again but at this point don’t know that I’ll ever be able to get another apppointment without booking weeks in advance. Read Less

I decided I wanted to get permanent eyeliner done so happy I went to see Melissa Padilla. I was a little nervous but Melissa was professional and made me feel comfortable. The process was easy and I never felt any pain. Melissa made sure I was numb the whole time. She answered all my questions and I left feeling amazing. I’ve been to Color Box quite a few times so I thought it was finally time to write a review. I’ve had quite a few services there...Mani/Pedi, spray tan, lash lift, lash extensions, and semi permanent eyeliner.I’ve been truly happy with each service! The facility is extremely clean and has a very relaxing, comfortable feel. Their zero gravity chairs with comfy blanket are amazing to sit on for your pedicures too. When I first heard that they do waterless pedicures I wasn’t sure how I would like it because in all of my years of getting pedicures I’ve never had one without the tub. But I was pleasantly surprised my feet are just a soft if not more without the tub, they just use a different process to moisturize your feet through steam towels and more. The semi permanent eyeliner was the best decision I ever made! Kristine did my liner and she is awesome! Being a busy working mom I have limited time to get ready in the morning so when I’m in a hurry I just put on some mascara and a little lipstick and I’m ready to go. It took about two hours to complete the process, she put numbing cream on your eyes so it’s painless. I also went back for a second application to make the line darker and thicker. Couldn’t be happier with this place I drive all the way from Novi to get the services done. There are plenty of other places I could go close by but I haven’t found any place that compares! Best pedicure I have ever had!  The waterless method is so much better than the traditional set up.  I felt so relaxed and pampered, and this is the first time I have ever looked forward to my toenail polish starting to chip (which will be some time yet because the polish is beautiful and holding strong), so I can go back again! Imagine being led to a heated, zero gravity chair, along with a warm neck pillow and warm eye mask both scented with lavender. Now imagine that you’re able to sip your coffee, tea or mimosa all while having the best foot massage ever. As you begin to drift slowly into a Zen like state you can feel your technician gently rubbing your feet with a silky, smooth foot scrub. My feet felt as smooth as a babies bottom with a waterless pedicure. The use of the warm towels, combined with wrapping you in plastic with a heating pad is a wonderful way to experience a pedicure not to mention very hygienic. Read Less

When I first heard about the waterless pedicure I wasn't sure how I would like it because I had never had one...but my feet are just as soft and smooth without the tub, if not more! They just use a different process to moisturize your feet through steamed towels and more. The semi-permanent eyeliner was the best decision I ever made! Being a busy working mom I am usually in a hurry to get ready, which often means limited time for makeup.  With the eyeliner already done it is so easy to just put on a little mascara and lipstick and head out. It took about 2 hours to complete the process, I also went back for a 2nd treatment to make the line darker and thicker. The lash extensions I've had done a few times. They make my eyes look gorgeous! Getting them put on is simple and they last about 2 months (just don't pick them out)! The lash lift really made my eyes pop. I can't really see the need for it if you get lash extensions, but for natural lashes it is the best! Finally the spray tan. I will never go anywhere else for a spray tan ever! The color is so natural looking (not orange), and it lasts a long time. They also sell the spray tan product in a smaller size to do at home. But getting the spray tan at the salon is quick and guarantees it will go on flawless! Love this place!!! Read Less

The salon is beautifully decorated. The staff is friendly and inviting. Michele did a fantastic job on my manicure today. My nails look amazing. She is very professional and knowledgeable. The way she treated me today shows she really has a passion for her job. As a new client, they offered me a discount on my manicure if I also paid for the pedicure. Excellent! They accepted me late as a walk in.  Most will turn you away 1 hour before close.  Warm welcome.  Pedi area is private, heated lounge chaise w blanket, water, pillow mask and heated leg warmer... I actually got too hot at one point LOL.  Pedicures are around $60... would of liked a longer massage... but I could of missed it because I feel asleep.  Mani was nice... no water.  Nails look great.  Bathroom is very clean w heated toilet! This place goes above and beyond... booked my next appt for 2 weeks.  My manicurist was excellent... but I would like to try others to see who gives the best massage.  Pricey but worth it if you can afford it:) Read Less

Hands down the best pedicure I have ever had. I wasn't sure what to expect with a waterless pedicure, but it was amazing. Loved the zero gravity chair and all of the small touches - warm lavender pillow, blanket, bag for my shoes, trendy expensive polish (Tom Ford, Christian Louboutin) in addition to the standard polish. This is one of THE BEST nail salons I have ever been to. It is very clean, quiet,and relaxing. Also, the space is bomb! Amazing customer service as well. They do your pedicures with you laying down and the glycolic mask for 10 dollars is amazing! It is certainyl worth it. Your feet will improve from this salon and they also have a med grade treatment for toes if they are nasty, peeling, and have fungus etc. The prices for a gel manicure are very standard and the pedicure is a little pricey (65 bucks) compared to the other places in the area who charge 35 to 40 dollars for a pedi but its worth it for sure! What a lovely, unique experience.  I had a great manicure and pedicure, waterless and very detailed.The spacious, industrial feel bows down to the beautiful natural light.  You feel cozy and intrigued simultaneously.  The manicure was lovely, I love the brands they used and how everything was so petitely packaged. The pedicure was euphoric, napping away in the reclined chairs, heat packs on, I was in heaven. As someone who's on their feet all the time, I'm pretty picky about pedicures. Having said that, this place is great. This is not where you go for a $25 pedicure and it takes 20 minutes and leaves bubbles in your polish. This is where you go to pay for a relaxing experience, and you get your moneys worth. Everything from the amazing welcoming front desk staff, the lovely waiting area and the Decor, is luxurious from the minute you step in. So many places in this area don't really leave you with a feeling of getting what you pay for, but color box does. Kendra the owner is great and is deeply involved in her business and actually performs services as well. I think it's so important when a business owner is intimately familiar with the business they own, and that pride in ownership shows here. THE BEST PEDICURE EVER!!!! Finally a spa that gets it. I have had a lot of pedicures in my life, but this one takes the cake! From the moment you walk in the door you are taken care of, greeted with a warm smile and asked what beverage you would like from their menu! I have to say that was one of the best pedicure and manicure's I've ever had. Have you heard of waterless pedicure or manicure? I hadn't either until today. My pedicure was in a Zero gravity chair, my head was at 45 angle with my feet elevated while my pedicure was being performed, I had a hot compass around my neck and on my face. I was so relaxed I was sleep, until the massage when she hit planters fasciitis spot, the hurt felt so good. My feet feel as smooth as a... babies bottom and to top it off I got a waterless manicure, yep the do that too. Wonder how they do waterless? They use warm towels, wrap you in plastic with a heating pad. It's very hygienic and perfect for diabetics, no more soaking in a tub of water which is unhealthy. Amazing! Super relaxing, the zero gravity chairs are amazing! I almost feel asleep during my pedicure! They have fuzzy blankets and warm eye covers that are so cozy. They have an amazing selection of nail polish and some high end brands! I got louboutin nails! I got black on top and they have a special red polish from louboutin with a small brush and they put it under your nails(you have to have long enough nails).
