The worse service ever! My friend and I made a 3:30 pm appointment and when we got there they looked confused even though I saw her name on the schedule book. Secondly I waited 45 min before they even attempted to do my pedicure as I watched my friend get her pedicure my water got colder and colder and colder. So I asked her manicurist if she could add more warm water and she didn't do it. After I got my pedicure I waited another 45 min to get my Dip Manicure after they made me move from my seat to serve someone who came in after me. Mind you they were not busy at all. Fast forward 3 hours later and we're the last ones out even after the women who came after us. I'm extremely disappointed and I feel like they were extremely racist and I will never go back! Then the young lady who did my pedicure kept asking the owner if I paid yet while I was still getting my manicure. Whilst the place is clean, up to date, well lit, serene ambient music and there is also the option of having a waiter from the cafe next door serve you beverages and sweets the point of this place is a good nail job. We have been going here for the last few months. The salon is beautifully decorated and calming. I have never had an issue with the quality of my shellac manicures. They do take their time and we have always found it to be long lasting. So far so good. We have not had to wait for our appointments. They have been timely and congenial. Read Less

Best Nail Salon in Birmingham!  Tried a lot of salons in Birmingham MI after a terrible experience elsewhere and I stoped once I tried adore!   Red is a doll and she does a terrific job on my nails not to mention I love the warm aromatherapy towel on my neck. My pedicures are always relaxing and incredibly well done.  I love having a prosecco  to help relax while my toes are being tended to.  Last time, when  I realized I didn't park in the free parking garage across from the salon and my meter was going to expire the receptionist ran out and filled the meter for me!!!   Now that is customer service! I was visiting my Family in Birmingham Mi, from Florida and decided to treat my aunt to a manicure & pedicure. First off it's pleasantly decorated but the staff is awful. The receptionist is very snotty and stuck up. They are very slow and are in desperate need of some experienced nail technicians. The young lady did such a crappy job on my manicure. She was trimming my cuticles she had no idea what she was doing. So she nicked me a few times. Not a pleasant feeling. Parking is horrible even in that parking garage. Extremely overpriced everything. Definitely not worth what they're charging for shellac that peels within the first week. Pedicures were week. Half ass foot massage. There are so many other salons in Birmingham save your money and go somewhere else. FYI Nora Pal is someone that works at that salon. You can tell lol. Read Less

I am visiting my sister who just moved here from the Chicago area!!! I love it! It is so hard to find a salon that does liquid gel fills. They did a beautiful job! I will definitely not be returning or recommending this salon to anyone. A nice looking place but don't let it fool you. Service is horrible. The receptionist was very rude and nasty. My appointment was set for 5 PM and I sat with my feet in the pedicure bowl with cold water for over 45 minutes waiting for somebody. Such a huge disappointment. I used a Groupon to go here. The pedicure was so so. I did not even get to soak my feet, and she went to town with her cheese grater, which I know is in the bus thing for your feet. She then proceeded to do a horrible job taking care of my cuticles, and the nail polish job was sloppy. The only good thing about the pedicure was the massage. Now mymanicure was even worse. It took forever, which I'm not sure why because she did not soak my hands, She did not clean my cuticles, she did not have to file my nails and she did shellac. The manicure took almost an hour. I would not recommend this salon to anyone. I booked my appointment for 6:00pm. On the same day they called me to ask if I could come at 5:00pm. I told them that I would call them back if I could come earlier, and to leave my appointment for 6:00 for now. On the day of the app. arrived 15 minutes earlier than 6. They say me down, took my shoes off, then the receptionist came to me in a very rude more and told me that they could not take me because they overbooked. I had to put my shoes back and leave. Went here on a whim because they had a Groupon and it was awful. The shop is very pretty, great ambiance, so I had high hopes. There was one nice woman who worked there and knew what she was doing. She did my pedicure and did a pretty good job. However everyone else was terribly rude and much more concerned about their social lives than being professional. They were not busy at all, so I thought I would be in and out pretty quickly. Not the case it took far too long for just a mani/pedi. And honestly It was more a polish change than a manicure, she did not address my cuticles at all, and the paint job was very sloppy, it was somewhere on almost every finger. The shellac polish only lasted a week where it usually lasts 2-3 for me. Also, there was no heat! It was a freezing day in December and the salon was so cold and I had to soak in cold water! I left freezing and very disappointed. I do not recommend this place, even with a good deal from a Groupon. You get less than you pay for. Read Less

Terrible. Awful. Worst manicure I've ever had. Completely baffled that they have the balls to charge $22 for a manicure. The polish was streaky, sloppy and very unprofessionally applied. As soon as the manicurist began filing my nails I knew it would be bad. Her technique was very amateur, like she had only been recently trained with little to no practice. She barely touched my cuticles that badly needed to be cut. I should have known by the fact that the place was completely empty. Unfortunate circumstances led to me needing a manicure fast and I couldn't get in with my regular girl soooo I ventured to try a new place... Upon walking in I was impressed by the upscale appearance but was horribly disappointed in the polish on both my manicure and pedicure, there was Polish all over my cuticles, fingers, and toes, and the polish was chunky. By far the worst mani, pedi, I have ever had in my life. I don't expect this place to last. I had to go to another salon to have my nails fixed as soon as I left. You can tell their nail techs don't have experience at all and it's possible that they may be blind, because there is no way you could look at that paint job and be satisfied with the quality of your work. I came in for a quick mani and pedi....there was a sign outside advertising a mani and pedi for $35. I specifically mentioned the sign to Dallas the owner when asking if someone was available for a walk in. They asked for $5 extra after I alrwady picked out Cindy nail polish...and tip had to be cash...which is unusual but ok.  Then presented me with a bill for $60. I was shocked, asked the owner and she told me that she doesn't "remember" me asking for the mini mani and pedi, she offered me $10 off.  She actually said that it was more because of the massage( that two minute massage was standard and definitely not worth $25). The place is stunningly beautiful.The staff is nice, and attempting to be accommodating but failing by lack of training. The polish selection is meager in the OPI/Essie department. If you are planning to select a specic color-bring it.  Surprised at the sacrifice by owners in such miniscule catagory of expense.The salon is not Asian owned so if you are expecting the Asian level of training you may be disappointed. The lovely techician I had was sweet, but she lacked the ability to follow through on each stage of service from exfoliation, to massage. It was quick and done. The front desk cute sweet pleasant....but again... could not process a credit card without assistance from a manager. One major pet peive NO CREDIT CARD TIPPING!! Eventhough my pedi was below my expectation...it is rude not to tip!!! keep in mind....free 2hr.parking across the street in the structure....but an inconvenience to walk in foam flops... all the way to car. Going to an ATM to get cash and return to tip is expensive to the customer both parking fees, ATM fee, and the laborious walk in flops.  The pedicure was 37.00.... it was worth 22.00 at Luv nails... the additional 15.00 is obviously to compensate being part of the HIGH RENT district.  3 stars...not a great review for a very expensive build out. The cost cutting on polishes and credit card tipping in summary....dull the luster of the beautiful nail spa. Needless to say.... ownership requires training! I'll check back in a few months.
