This is not a professional nail salon. I went in expecting a manicure and gel shellack. The tech didn't file or shape the nail. The tech pushed my cuticles back and painted them. The shellack looks messy and is peeling up I will be getting these redone at another salon. Read Less

I have been a client or customer of the Salon for 4 years can't believe it's been that long they are great people . Today at 2.30pm I was there in bed 4 I can't believe that I did but without a doubt in my mind I forgot to grab my rings. I called right away and from the time I left only 2 girls used that bed. I was there around 2.30pm . I will return in the morning hoping that they will be returned. In the meantime I will have a police make out a report. I realize it's my fault but I would never have taken them if I found them,never.i am so upset,please have it in your heart to turn them in . Never been for nails, just for tanning.  It's $5 to tan as a walk-in, which is pretty cheap.  They also have packages available that seemed very inexpensive, but I don't recall the exact rates.  They offer hexes and beds, and I'd been walking in during the day with no problems.  However when I called yesterday at around 4 pm to find out what time they closed I was told I'd need to make an appointment b/c they are so busy that no beds would be available for the next two hours.  Apparently once school/work starts getting out, it's hard to get in.  And when I got there, it was ungodly hot inside.  Hot in the entrance area, hotter in the tanning area, and obviously hotter yet when you actually start to tan.  They really REALLY need to work on their air circulation - it was so hot that I had to get out of the bed early b/c I thought I was going to be sick.  The temperature was never bad during the day when I guess they have fewer users.  So if you can go during the day it's great, otherwise it's not so pleasant. Main Street Tanning And Nail Salon in Birch Run Michigan is a great place to tan, they have good hours great Staff and a wonderful Tanning Lotion selection. The Salon has a clean, friendly, and professional atmosphere which sets them apart from the other salons I have tanned at. And one of them is pretty well know and I had a terrible experience at this salon so I just drove a few minutes North and found Main Street Tanning and I have been tanning at this Salon for a while now. They are always doing a Tanning special or a free drawing I have tanned at other Salons and I get the best color from Main Street Tanning. They have only 6 Units but that is enough I just Love the Triple Facial Bed and the VHR Hex with the Bronzing reflector bulbs this is a great unit to tan in when I'm in a hurry just 12 minutes and I'm done. They also have great Tanning packages to pick from that will fit any ones budget these days. I have the 1 Year Hawaiian Tropic Membership and I just love it, they also have Salon Perks when you become a member.
