I had a pedicure / manicure service on 4/28/18 and tip the technician but after two hours my toes were not dry I was furious do to the amount of time I wasted and couldn’t go back that day to get my toes repaired . I called and explained my toes need repolish but can’t me it until Sunday They were uncaring made me wait additional time ask me to come back in 30 minutes I decline do to my wasted gas and time I waited until they serviced all the other clients just for them to repaint my toes a mistake they made by applying my polish so thick or using old polish either way horrible experience 😏 Read Less

First of all- this place is GROSS!!! It looks old and dirty. I stopped here instead of my normal nail place because I needed a quick manicure and  my salon had a wait and this place did not- now I know why. When I walked in I immediately started second guessing my choice to stop here, but there were two people getting a pedicure and I thought it can't be that bad, right? I told the woman I wanted a manicure and as she reached to grab a file that looked like it had just been used on someone else and was clearly dirty she asked if I wanted a full manicure or a polish change. Starting to get more nervous I took the polish change hoping to cut down on using any more dirty tools on me. My polish change took 50 minutes!! After the first coat of polish it looked like my three year old niece had tried to paint my nails. There was polish all over my fingers- and she wasn't going to fix it. I said something and asked shouldn't it be fixed before putting my hand in the dryer. She said oh yeah- it's just because it's so cold out it makes the polish run, we need a heater and then this wouldn't happen. What???? It's 65 degrees out today and we're in Michigan, it's going to get a lot colder. To sum up my story she tried to file over my skin, repaint, use top coat, then put polish over the top coat and then put more top coat over and over again for almost an hour. The polish was thick and all over my fingers, not to mention she didn't file evenly, so there were red ridges sticking up from my the tips of the nail. I had to stop her and say no when she went to try to put coat number 7 on my hands. Basically this was the worst manicure polish job I had ever seen and I told her that. She went on to tell me it was because I had picked a red polish and I had pale skin. Again, what??? After 50 minutes of her clearly not knowing what she was doing she told me to go home and wash my hands until the polish came off my skin and then told me my total was $20. For a polish change that I needed to immediately go somewhere else to remove and redo because it was so bad I could not even let it stay for work the next day. I was legit shocked. My daughter, a friend and I went for two manicures and a pedicure. We were not greeted warmly, and the chatter in a foreign language between the 3 techs didn't help us feel comfortable either. My daughter accidentally dropped her chosen nail polish and it cracked and shattered all over the floor. She felt terrible and apologized several times. The man doing her pedi never acknowledged her. He cleaned up the mess without a word. During her pedi he cut her toe. He never said he was sorry.  He also complained that he had glass in his shoe, which seems impossible since he cleaned it up wearing shoes and socks. When we left no one said goodbye or thank you. My mani is now chipping less than 48 hours later, and my daughter's toe hurts. Don't think I'm going back. Read Less

I don't really take care of my fingernails, but the toes are an entirely different matter. And this is one of my favorite spots to keep my feet maintained and looking pretty. Having read some of the other reviews, I was expecting this place to be dirty and that I would leave bleeding. I'm happy to report that I have experienced NONE of that. Came in 1/2 hr. before they closed.  It was my first time. I asked them if they had time to do just a Mani, nothing fancy.   If they said no I would completely understand.....instead they started talking another language to each other and completely ignored me.    I sat down for five minutes and asked a tech, am I on the list or should I leave?  Again all 4 employees ignored me.. another customer said they would take me.  The nail tech did not look me in the eye or say one word to me.  When she was done with my service and asked for a change she automatically assumed she was getting a $5 dollar tip off a $15 manicure....in other circumstances I would have no problem with that except they were so rude.... I used to go to this nail salon when I was in high school and thought it was awesome. I recently went back right before my bridal shower to get my nails done and the person doing my nails cut me so bad! My finger wouldn't stop bleeding and she put nail glue on it to stop the bleeding. And then she tried to charge me for my manicure! Even with my thumb bleeding, the manicure looked horrible. The polish didn't cover my nail and was very sloppy. I will not be going back. Read Less

Just went on my lunch to get my nails done and I don't think I've ever had a worse shellac polish change. First off, two of my nails are are still stinging underneath because the guy filed my skin then continued to put shellac over them and let it set. He then proceed to CUT the polish off my skin rather than use nail polish remover. Not to mention the flakes of color under the current polish left by old one. I should also mention that there is probably more polish on my cuticles than on my nails. I have had some not so hot manicures here before, however, this is the icing on the cake. Entered the premises and everything looked very clean and well-kept there was a decent amount of people in there and their sign in sheet definitely was well used today. Was greeted promptly upon my entrance and asked what services I wanted and was asked several follow-up questions to ensure that what I wanted was correct. Signed in and I only waited for about five minutes before a pedicure chair was ready and waiting for me. Water temperature was absolutely amazing and it smelled great! The woman who was doing my pedicure was very skilled with what she does and asked several questions about my feet prior to touching them in case I had any conditions or worries that she needed to know about. The woman doing my pedicure was extremely thorough and went back several times to make sure that she had everything right before she even started painting. During this she asked several times to make sure that I wasn't in any pain and that things were to my liking. The hot stone massage was to die for as well as the sugar scrub. In Addition to this there was even a hot towel massage portion which felt amazing. Before she ended up putting any paint on my toes she made sure to ask twice to confirm that She had the right color. Even though the base coat for the color I wanted was a little dry and she couldn't use it she was very precise in picking another base coat that was extremely similar. She even made sure to change the towel that I had my feet on because it was a little wet from getting my feet rinsed off and she literally held my feet up and I didn't have to lift them myself. That is well above and beyond many other nail salons I have been to and I highly commend TD nails on this. She was very timely in how she did my nails yet still managed to make sure that she had every portion of my nail covered and that there were no spots without color and that it didn't run off onto my skin. After she got the gel on my toes she made sure to put everything under the UV lamp for the full amount of time and didn't skip seconds to make sure that everything did cure properly. After all of the polish was on she even went back over and removed any excess nail polish that was around my toes that she didn't get the first time and filed any rough edges which I have never had done at any nail salon and I was quite surprised and impressed that it happened. After that she used softening solution to massage my feet and my legs one last time before I was out the door. I would highly recommend TD nails to anyone who is looking for quality service in a very timely manner they go above and beyond other nail salons and I was highly impressed and will probably never go to another nail salon unless Td nails is closed Read Less

Not what it used to be. They've lost their best mani/pedi technicians. But you don't need an appointment, can usually be in and out in under an hour, and they're still fairly inexpensive. If you're short on time and not picky about your nails, then I'd say go for it.Read Less

Great place for mani/pedi and eyebrows. They are reasonably priced.....great leg massage with hot stones no extra charge.....regular polish lasts for a very long time! This is my fav place! First the basics, they take CC but only for services, not for tips, although I think they have some sort of a first timer exception. This used to be my favorite nail salon, but I'm not sure what's happened. This week I received a shellac manicure that was a painful experience as opposed to relaxing. My cuticle was cut so bad on my pinky that it wouldn't stop bleeding. She actually polished my blood onto the nail and didn't understand why I was complaining. I had to have someone else come over to point out why I wanted to have the nail redone. At this point, I'm concerned about their sanitation policies. I'm not sure what happened with the cuticle clippers or polish they used on me after I left. Went in on a Sunday to simply get my acrylic nails off. The gentleman that opened the salon that morning did not speak English so I had to wait for thirty minutes for another employee to arrive in order to be seen. Once the second employee arrived she sat me down to start taking my nails off. Every other time I have gotten acrylic they soaked off the nails in order to have a gentle removal. This female took a plastic fake nail and slid it between my real nail and the acrylic until the acrylic nail popped off. I usually have a very high pain tolerance but this was pure torture. The female employee kept telling me to relax my hand, meanwhile she's plucking off my finger nails one by one. The nails that were removed happened to pop off and were flying all over the salon. It was disgusting! I was tempted to run around and pick them up myself. Not one employee was phased by someone's USED acrylic nails lying all over the place. To make matters worse, when I returned to my seat after washing my hands, another client was sitting in my seat with my jacket, purse, and cellphone all in her possession. There were at least five stations available but the employee decided to start another client at the same station and sit her amongst all my personal belongings! I went to the counter and sat for at least five minutes to pay and not one employee even looked my way so I figured it must not cost anything to get acrylic removed so I began to make my way towards the door until two people ran after me and charged me 15 dollars! Enter at your own risk! I don't know why I've been here as many times as I have. It's close and convenient, but I never receive service worth coming back for! I've never left here without bloody cuticles. This last time was the absolute worst. My thumb is still throbbing from a huge bloody cuticle mess.
