Dont go here if looking for fun colors. Was told what I wanted could be done only to spend $140 for an extremely dull and barely noticeable change other than the splotches of hair that didn't even get colored. When I called to speak to the owner I was told the color I wanted was a synthetic color. She was standing right next to the girl who did my hair and knew they couldnt do what I wanted. Why the hell tell someone you can do something if you can't? To bank their money I guess. Shame on you!

My fiance and I went in for halo hair extensions and are very very unhappy. first off we were charged $100 for the owner to color the hair extensions. the dye was literally less than $10... for a grand total of $300 for the hair pieces. the hair pieces are not full enough she did not use enough hair. will not blend no matter how she uses the hair... We just found out today that My Fiance could have had regular hair extensions put in her hair for half what we were charged for sub par product at Mingus. We are chalking this up to a very expensive learning experience. I would not suggest going here without doing all research on pricing and products first. We feel very taken advantage of( hustled) by all means..... Good luck...... And just so we are clear My Fiance was able to wear the pieces one time and one of them broke. We had to take it back and have it fixed and the girls at the desk were kind of rude about setting time to pick it back up.. This again is an unfortunate learning experience for us. Hope she doesn't take advantage of you too.....

Minges got me in last minute when I was in a serious hair crisis. Ashley cut my once long hair, very short (had to be done because my hair had some serious breakage from somebody over processing it at a different salon). I was terrified to go short, I've always had long hair. But she did an amazing job! I really like it and have had DOZENS of compliments since she cut it yesterday Huge THANK YOU! Very friendly staff, Minges salon is beautiful and clean, I will absolutely be back.

Ashley is FABULOUS. I had just moved to the BC area and Minges Salon was recommended. Thanks to Ashley she took me in when as a last minute appointment because nobody else had availability. Well I'm so glad she decided to hang out and stay longer that night. Now almost 2 years later I am leaving to go back home to the UP and will miss her dearly. Ashley, thank you so much for being attentive, accommodating and awesome. I wish you the best!

Had a wonderful time! My hair stylist was Katie and she did such an incredible job..if you could see the before and after pics of my hair, your jaw would drop to the floor! I also had a nice pedicure. It's a relaxing and welcoming environment! I plan on coming back..I suggest if you want to relax and just get away for a while, come here..it's very nice and so is the staff!

Had an absolutely perfect experience here on Saturday with Margo. Brought my friend in for a spa pedicure in order to get her out of the house for a surprise party. Margo spent extra time with us making sure we were there as long as we needed to be. Couldn't have asked for a better time! Thank you!!!!!

Dont go here if looking for fun colors. Was told what I wanted could be done only to spend $140 for an extremely dull and barely noticeable change other than the splotches of hair that didn't even get colored. When I called to speak to the owner I was told the color I wanted was a synthetic color. She was standing right next to the girl who did my hair and knew they couldnt do what I wanted. Why the hell tell someone you can do something if you can't? To bank their money I guess. Shame on you!

Ashley cut my once long hair, very short (had to be done because my hair had some serious breakage from somebody over processing it at a different salon). Ashley is FABULOUS. I had just moved to the BC area and Minges Salon was recommended. Thanks to Ashley she took me in when as a last minute appointment because nobody else had availability. Well I'm so glad she decided to hang out and stay longer that night. Now almost 2 years later I am leaving to go back home to the UP and will miss her dearly. I also had a nice pedicure. It's a relaxing and welcoming environment! I plan on coming back..I suggest if you want to relax and just get away for a while, come here..it's very nice and so is the staff!

Had an absolutely perfect experience here on Saturday with Margo. Brought my friend in for a spa pedicure in order to get her out of the house for a surprise party.
