I have been here a few times and this is probably the best nail salon I have been to in Ann Arbor. I get acrylics and have tried several salons but often my nails would break off which is a huge pain. My nails always look amazing after I leave here and I have never had a nail break off after Le has done them. I recommend making an appointment as they can get busy. Allow about an hour and a half or so to get an acrylic rebase and shellac polish. They are just a little more expensive than other salons but at least now I don't have to pay for nail repairs anymore. They also have a great selection of shellac colors. Read Less

I was a regular visitor to U.S. Nails for about a year when I lived in Ann Arbor. They were really great in many ways. First the salon is very clean and comfortable with even a little bit of a luxury vibe. Second the service was always great. My nails always lasted long and if they didn't, you could easily come in and they would fix them for you no cost. Third the employees were very friendly and especially if they recognize you would be extra attentive and nice. Always enjoyed going there and would definitely recommend them. Decent place for affordable simple manicures and pedicures. Laid back atmosphere and the staff is well trained and kind. I don't do anything more complex than simple manicures and pedicures- so I cannot comment on things like getting fake nails , fillers, and elaborate varnishes. Usually you get a nice foot and leg massage in the pedicure process, and hot compress wrap of the lower leg. They stay busy, so choose your times for walk-in service- earlier in the day on weekdays it is often slower . I can't imagine what the people whining about chipping their OWN NAILS due to use of their HANDS over a several day period would have against this enterprise, but the low reviews here do seem to be about that , and not about the actual service rendered. One of my very few favorite salons, as it's hard to find really friendly service, imo. I love all of their staff and most of them, most of the time, do an excellent job. A few times, I've had some uneven acrylics and a nick here and there. Otherwise, they do an overall great job balancing time efficiency and quality. I never feel upsales pressure here, either. I really appreciate their services. They are very friendly and have done excellence on my pink & white nails, deluxe pedicure and waxing.The salon is so clean, All nail equipments have been sanitized overnight by state board requirement machines.
