I first tried the nail salon over on Eisenhower, but it was a bad experience. A few days later I tried this salon, and I’m so glad I did. The gentleman who took care of my manicure took his time and did a great job. Even though it was late, and they were close to closing, he didn’t rush and my nails look great. Hands down, best nail salon I've ever been to. Vincent and Tammy are truly amazing! I've been coming here for about 2 years now and have never been disappointed. They put in the extra time and effort to make sure your nails are exactly how you want them. They're also always pleasant to be around and talk with. I was the maid of honor in my best friend's wedding and we came here two days before the wedding to get manicures and pedicures. We had five girls in total all getting a combination of various services including acrylics, shellac and pedicures. All the staff members were so incredibly friendly and accommodating, and made the process fun and personable for us. They laughed and joked with us and did great work that we were all happy with. I like this salon and love their work, but I come in to relax and be pampered not to be bothered by their son. He's always interrupting his Mother and bothering customers. The last time I was there the clean towels the son dumped them all in the chair and sat on top of them. Some fell on the floor and he just put them all back in the bag. My sister and I were floored. Those towels should've been re washed and not used on the customers. They really need to make him stay in the back or leave him home. If they had control of their kid I'd give this salon 5 stars! Super happy with the pedicure I recieved today! While I usually take care of my own nails, I am now at the point where I am too pregnant and have too much back pain to do the job properly. This studio is close to home, the owners are super friendly,  and I'm very happy with the affordable pedicure that I recieved. The hot stone massage that came with the service was AMAZING, and I loved their extensive color selection. I will definitely be coming back! Read Less

2017 Update: This is still the only place I will go for Mani's/Pedi's.  They are AWESOME and my nails look great for weeks.  The reviews from 2011 reference the previous owners and NOT the people who work there now.  My teenage daughter had her eyebrows waxed by Tammi, and she was very gentle and did a great job.****I'm fairly new to the area and initially tried this salon on a friend's recommendation. I have had my nails done here over a dozen times now & I can't understand the "less than 3 stars" reviews on yelp. I've always had a GREAT experience- it never smells like chemicals & all of the tools are sterilized after every use. Both people working there are very friendly -Tammy gives a great foot /leg massage when you get a pedi and Vincent is great and has never once cut my skin. He give the best manicure I've ever gotten- anywhere!I've had mani's, pedi's, and gel done and they all lasted for weeks. At another nail salon in A2, the techs always clipped my cuticles too close & Id end up bleeding (they told me my skin was too dry). This is the only place my sister and I will go now. Read Less

I tried The Nail Studio as an alternative to Pro Nails on Eisenhower and I'm so glad I did!Service was friendly with nice conversations. Sometimes you don't know if you will be able to talk to the nail technician. But not here!I hadn't gotten a pedicure at a place since June and did not want to deal with driving across town. Now, with happy feet, I was so glad I broke down and went closer to home--this place has tons of colors, including all the trendy summer colors. Even with my super short nails, nail tech Tammy was able to make my hands look great. Price was really good, allowing me to give a good tip. 43.00 for both pedicure and manicure with a really good massage on both feet and hands.It is too bad that this place's reviews are somehow connected to an older owner's terrible reviews. When you first walk in, they DEMAND you to give them your e-mail address... I only went here because of a groupon I bought... Mistake!The bowl they had me dip my fingers in wasn't clean... Even though I made an appointment, I had to wait. There were 2 manicurists going back and forth between 4 customers that were there. There was not a good selection of OPI colors.  They handed me coupons for mani/pedi... I think I'll pay a little extra and go elsewhere next time. Read Less

I should have stopped when the place was empty on a Saturday. I had them do a fill on my gel tips and within 1 1/2 weeks a green spot showed up on two of my fingers. After consulting a doctor, I was told it is a bacterial infection caused by dirty tools. They did not sterilize their tools in a required manner by the Board of Cosmetology, thus resulting in infection. She also would not put the top coat on until I paid first, then tried to charge me more than their posted price. Not a good place at all. Read Less
