I’m not sure I would go here again, I didn’t want to hurt the guys feelings and he was nice but he didn’t really understand what I was saying. He stabbed me quite a few times, then he cut my nails so short that you can see the flesh coming up and he was trying to cut my skin under the nails! The shape was also extremely weird, like all lopsided and different lengths on all my fingers. I couldn’t exactly ask him to stick it back on. I just ditched my old nail salon because I wasn't happy with the service anymore, so I went on yelp to find a new one. BeeQ had really good reviews, and it was just down the street from my old nail salon.  I just finished at BeeQ for the first time and I really enjoyed my experience. My sister and I wanted to get pampered together and tried BeeQ for the first time. They were able to accommodate us the same day. We arrived super early and asked if they could move up our appointment time and they made it work with no hassle at all! I was having trouble finding a good nail salon in Ann Arbor and decided to try BeeQ after seeing their storefront and checking out their yelp reviews. I've come here four times now and I can say that I the manicures and pedicures are consistently great. I had one bad pedicure where I was unhappy since I was cut and one of my toes was messed up from some excess acetone - I called the salon and they had me come back the next day and apologized and fixed the mistake immediately. Aside from that one incident I am very happy with the services and customer service.I also recently was married and decided to try eyelash extensions a few weeks beforehand. Camilla is the owner and does the eyelash extensions - she is fantastic! She did a great job on my lashes - so many people have commented on them including the makeup artist that I hired for my wedding (she asked who did the extensions since they were so well done). I had the initial set applied 3 weeks before my wedding (wanted to make sure I didn't have an allergic reaction right before wedding photos) and did a touch up/fill the week of the wedding. My Asian features mean my natural lashes are stick straight and hard to keep curled. I love the extensions since they feel natural and there is no need for mascara or eyelash curlers with these extensions! We went to BeeQ Spa as a group of four for simultaneous mani-pedi service. First of all, the front desk was really understanding of our scheduling problems, and accommodated us at the time we wanted. I was drawn to Susan's seat right away, since she appeared personable, warm, and professional. And I'm so glad that I did! Even though I'm usually pretty picky and hard to please when it comes to mani-pedis, Susan did a great job! As someone who has left other salons with bloody cuticles and un-cured shellac, I am so happy to have found this wonderful place.Made an appointment for a pedicure, acrylic fill with shellac polish, and trial eyelash extensions, and made appointments for 3 other people to get pedicures and manicures as well the night before with no issues. I definitely suggest making an appointment rather than walking in, since they seemed to have a pretty steady flow of appointments. Pedicure was wonderful. Uno was so patient with me- I'm so ticklish on my feet, and practically kicked her right in the face. The foot massage was so relaxing and the polish looks great. Camilla, the owner, did my eyelash extensions. I was so nervous because I'd never had them done before, but I'm so happy with how they look. Since I've got pretty short lashes naturally, we went with the trial lashes which was $99, and you get 30-45 lashes per eye. Totally worth it because they look so incredible, and so real! I wish I would have received an instructional sheet on how to take care of them, but there are many sources online. My acrylic fill and shellac manicure was amazing. I came in with my acrylic nails almost completely unattached to my natural nail, One was so bad it had to be completely replaced. Isra really took her time and was so nice to me. On a whim I reached out through the Yelp app late at night to see if I could make a next day appt while I was in town in business. I had a response and appt time when I woke up in the morning - such a speedy response! They were able to squeeze me in for a pedicure with shellac removal and new shellac polish as well as a the basic manicure I requested. They had so many shellac colors - more than anywhere I've been. They didn't pressure for more services to upcharge me. Got a great shellac pedicure and basic manicure without polish for $65 - very reasonable! Ok, I just moved from Minneapolis and I'm trying find all my new places and this is the one for my nails. The owner was so sweet and the ladies who were working were friendly, too. The selection of colors for my shellac mani was perfect - I've been places where they hand you a palette of 300+ colors and it's just difficult to make a decision. I have been getting my eyelash extension at Bee Q Salon for over 3 months now and I have been completely satisfied. I have been to a couple different salons in the Toledo and Ann Arbor area, but I will continue coming to Bee Q. Camilla has many years of experience and it definitely shows. I get a full dense lash look, but still looks very natural because Camilla uses varying lengths. The entire process is completely pain free and won't damage your natural lashes - application through daily wear.The other salons I have visited sometimes they pull on your natural lashes in the application process, which doesn't feel great. And sometimes they use too much lash glue which makes it uncomfortable as your natural lashes grow.The salon is very cute and clean. I moved here from CA back in April, and have only come to BeeQ. I like how it's removed from the hustle and bustle of downtown AA. There's always ample parking and I never have to worry about getting a pedicure and having to walk too far back to my car!All of the nail technicians Camila hires are very detailed and skillful. Last week on Thursday I did my nail (shellac). Got the manicure (did't ask for one, just asked to change the color) Manicure was't good. When I left, my nail looked nice. By Saturday two of the nails started peeling off. Went back, different girl fixed it. Today is the day number six after original manicure one of the nail PEELED OFF again! Mostly shellac staying on my nail for 2-2.5 weeks... I doing shellac all the time. Not sure what's the problem the girls or the product. I have been here twice since I discovered its incredibly convenient proximity to work and home. The first time, my manicurist was very nice and made sure that at each step I liked the shape of my nails and the clean-up was satisfactory. I was pretty happy about it until the color went on. The polish didn't extend the entire length of my nail and fell short of my cuticle so it looked like a week old manicure and my nails had grown. I pointed it out and was told that the polish "shrinks" when it dries? Not sure what that means but I didn't protest because I was in a hurry. I went back again recently and the same thing happened to me but this time it was because the manicurist that was working with me was very new. I am meticulous and the small gap does make a difference to me especially since I am choosing to spend good money at this  establishment. I think that I would go back because the actual place is very clean and the atmosphere is relaxing and everyone is really polite which to me ends up being the second most important thing when I go to get my nails done. I came here for a regular pedicure after scouring Yelp for a nail place that didn't look sketchy but also wasn't exorbitantly priced. BeeQ Spa lived up to it's ratings and reviews!Despite it's location in an older strip plaza, the salon itself is modern, fresh, and well decorated. I was pleasantly surprised by the number of pedicure and manicure stations they had as well as their computerized/online scheduling system. I was a walk in and well received. There's a wide array of polish to choose from, they offer you water, and their equipment was clean. They took their time with my toes and did an excellent job. This will be my go to place for pedicures even though it's not the closest one to me because of it's great environment and service. I look forward to trying out their other services in the future! Called the day of and got right in.  I seldom get a pedicure so not an expert in this area.   Very clean environment and employees were professional and friendly.   They use an interior bag for foot water and open a new package of scrubbers for each client.   You get a bit of a foot massage with pedicure.   Also have massage chairs that were an extra.    Cost was $30 which is fair. Fantastic nail salon! Apparently they have been open since February. I had booked 5 appointments a week prior to the actual date for my friends wedding. As soon as we walked in, our nail appointments started. They were very thorough with our nails and did an overall wonderful job. They have a lot of nail colors to chose from. I got a gel manicure. The atmosphere was very nice and everything was clean. I was very satisfied after my appointment. However, my gel nails started lifting in just 3 days. It has been a week now and on every finger the gel has lifted from the base of my nails and peeling off. They lasted even shorter than if I had just painted my nails with regular polish myself... My nails was done right away. But i excepted so much more out if my tech .. They are known for there designs and good nails tech. I didnt like my nails or my experience. Wow. Finally. I've been looking for a salon substitute since I moved to AA from LA in September. It's difficult for me to even pontificate how happy I am with every service I received. Hallie did my toenails and gave me a jelly pedicure, she was perfect and so sweet and interesting to talk to. Ona did my fingernails and even helped me pick out the most perfect gel color (I am very indecisive). Their massage chairs were also so new and modern. I then decided to wax my eyebrows last minute and even though they were already closed, the owner said she would be more than happy to do so. I first came to BeeQ Salon to get a facial with my boyfriend and we both left with a great experience. My skin hasn't felt that soft in a while. Camilla the owner who also did my facial recommended some products to use and I was pleased to see that they used organic products. I decided to come back to get lash extensions as I've heard great things about it from the last salon she worked at. It was my first time and I absolutely love it! I've gotten so many compliments so far. I have straight lashes so my lashes have never looked this good. As most of you would probably agree using fake lashes everyday is not that convenient plus they don't look as natural as lash extensions. So I would highly recommend it and get it at BeeQ with Camilla. She also has Xtreme lash products for sale at the salon so you can get it while you're there. I only come to this establishment once a yr as a treat for my birthday...i waited for 3 hrs because I know what they are capable of. I get called the nail tech rushed thru my nails leaving my old polish on the edges, she didnt push my cuticles up,she rushed my drying process, and she cut my nails off when i told her i wanted to save them, my brows got thinned out,my lashes were rushed and thin when i wanted glam,and she charged me over 100 without telling me what the price was for. I had a horrible experience without setting foot through the door! When calling to alert the staff I was running late, the woman on the phone rudely over talked me - she didn't even hear me say I'll just have to cancel the appointment (because I was told I could only get one of the two services requested, and they'd decide on the service once I arrive), which I mentioned in the email was unacceptable! She hung up the phone as I was speaking to her. As a courtesy, I sent a fol...low up email so they'd know not to expect me and also share my experience about the rude rep on the phone. Apparently, instead of acknowledging their short comings and apologizing their policy is to blame their prospective customers. "Hello, Our policy is a 10 min grace period for any appointment and then after the client is a walk in which is not guaranteed (printed on our brochures). Sorry you feel that being late and us not able to completely service you is unacceptable.
