I had to go back because my polish was literally see through and there was a hair in it. They added another layer and told me it was dry I went home and my fingers literally hurt. My cuticles are destroyed and my nail polish is completely messed up because it wasn't dry like they said it was. Too add onto that my hands are really dry. I will never go back there ever again. i will say that the place is big, nice, well staffed. the women who did my nails was nice. i was going to cosmetology school at the time and she kinda seemed like she knew what she was talking about. i got a FULL acrylic nail set. i got black polish and she asked me if i wanted glitter. i usually never get glitter or anything extra on my nails but i said yes. i dried my nails and left without really looking at them. i got in my car and realized there was SO MUCH acrylic stuck underneath my nails! it was so annoying. the glitter wasn’t for me so i ended taking the polish off the next day. the nails broke within a week. never been back since and probably never will. if i were you, i’d go to a real, certificated nail salon. When I originally moved to Michigan, I thought I was going to have a really tough time finding somewhere to have my nails done. HOWEVER, after a few trips to not great places, I found Bebe, and I could not be happier. I just went to have my nails done with Kevin today, and he was patient, honest, and super fun to talk to. He did a great job with my fill-in (perhaps my favorite look on my nails ever), and I would absolutely recommend him to any one of my friends. They can usually do day-of appointments too! Read Less

While the atmosphere there was very welcoming, and the staff was more than friendly, I have to give this place a 1 star. My friend and I came in for a fill in one with shellac one without. The lady who was doing my nails, over filed them and burned me more than once from doing so. The acrylic is lumpy, and my shellac has a bubble in it. The lady doing my friends Nails talked her into getting shellac, even though she didn't want it, and the next day her nails started peeling. She went in to get them fixed, at no charge, and the next day they started peeling again. I would definitely suggest trying a different place. Read Less

I'm so excited about my nails. Angela was fantastic. I showed her what I wanted and she did a great job right in the beginning. From picking out colors to perfecting the ombré look. Angela was gentle, very attentive, and enjoyable to talk with. I'm new to having my nails done since my nails are very short. Recently discovered dipped powder nails and I am in love. I have never been happier with a nail salon! They always do a beautiful job and are such nice people. I have never had to wait a long time because they always have so many people on staff and are always busy when I go in. My mom and I always go here as our default place even though it's far away from our house because it's easy to get a walk-in appointment the service is good. I got my first acrylic/gel manicure at bebe's last week and I love it! I can't believe how durable it is. My technician did a great job and accommodated me needing to leave within 30min. I have a license in cosmetology and understand how pedicures and manicures work, I've given more than my fair share of them myself. So when I go somewhere I'm expecting at the very least what Ive been trained to do. I went to Bebe's for a delux mani pedi, and was very disappointed. The massage was not equal on either of my legs, and felt panicked and rushed. My nail tech applied the wrong color of shalaque polish and where as I understand making a mistake she did not apologize and came across rude afterwords (that's being kind). The reapplication of the correct color is not smooth nor consistent, as well as the filing my my nails. I got a chrome over coat that wasn't spread evenly. The nail technician who worked on me did not speak to me, or respond when I talked to her, or tried to make light of her mistake. She is in the wrong industry for working with people. Read Less

I came here 2 weeks ago. The equipment was clean. And sterile. However, my no chip was rushed. She didn't have my hands soak for more then 15 seconds and started going at my cuticles. The hand -arm massage was quick. And the places I go to in Chicago give a nice little back massage and hand towel. And you don't get that here. My technician was sweet as could be and the salon is very clean. Great massage chairs but worst pedicure ever! My nails are completely uneven and not rounded off--the way I kindly asked for them to be finished. I mean completely uneven! No attention/work to the cuticles either. Not impressed. The staff seemed very rushed, like they wanted to get us in and out asap. This was despite making a group appointment for a "relaxing spa date" with friends beforehand. My pedicure is streaky, with thick polish in some places and thin in others, making the color look uneven. Stopped in on a Saturday night to get a gel manicure 2 hours before closing and was immediately serviced, which was great. I was directed to a seat and given literally a bucket full of nail colors to choose from. I've never seen so many color options it was hard to choose! I ended up selecting a dark grey slightly sparkle color for all nails but my middle finger which I chose black. Yes, that may sound odd, but after the inauguration and attending the Women's March in Ann Arbor earlier it felt like the right thing to do.The lady who worked on my nails was very friendly. Based on the colors I chose, and the fact I was wearing all black, she asked if I was going out tonight. Told her I have a concert Sunday night to which she asked if it was rock and I said indeed it was! She said she was wondering if that was the case because of the leather jacket I was wearing and that I picked such dark colors. It was hilarious.She was pretty quick cleaning up my nails and even asked if I wanted them clipped or filed, to which we decided on filing. While clipping off the cuticles she nicked my thumb skin, which bled slightly. I would have been concerned if I hadn't seen all her nail tools in a plastic "sterile" packaging. I doubt she even noticed because it was so small, but no apology. She was very efficient getting the color on and in the end it looks pretty good. I would have preferred she got the color closer to the base of my nail but they still look a lot better than when I do it myself, because when I do they look a mess. When my nails were done, she even admitted she was thinking to herself that the color selection was odd and was questioning whether they'd look good, but after seeing them done she might even do them to her own nails. That was hilarious.$28 was a good price, especially in Ann Arbor. I was in and out in about 20 minutes and am happy with my nails. I'll be back again when I need to change them up and might even get over my "no one touches my feet" fears and get a pedi in the spring. Read Less

Got my first gel mani ever here! Service was quick and efficient, and this is the best price I can find in Ann Arbor. They have a huge color selection and know what they're doing! My only qualm is that there was very little in the way of the "spa" manicure (no real hand massage/lotion). I'm used to a little more in that department! Worst (gel) manicure I have ever had. The overall experience was just as bad. Service: Though I had made my appointment in person with someone specific, they put me with 2 people who I did not request. They had someone doing my nails at the same time another person was doing my pedicure. This turned my "relaxing mani/pedi" into a stressful situation where I had to hold my hands in a certain position, while switching my feet, while monitoring how they were doing. Lastly, they all did the ever-so-rude speaking/whispering in a foreign language and then looking at me, or giggling. Products: This is the first salon I've ever been to where they DO NOT have matching gel and regular colors. I got a gel manicure and regular pedicure.They told me to choose a "similar" color for my feet, because they didn't have the matching color. This is ridiculous. This is they're ONE job as a nail salon, have matching nail polish. I also noticed that they added some sort of liquid to the polish bottles to make them seem full... this actually ruins the color and decreases the quality of the polish. Mani/pedi: THE WORST. I got it the same day I was traveling for a wedding. I got it done in the morning and by the time I was on my way to the airport (same day), I already had the gel lifting up from my thumb nail. Of course I couldn't go back to fix it, so needless to say my manicure was ruined very early on. I got gel because it's supposed to last long. I've had gel manicures (from other salons)that have easily lasted 2.5 weeks in great condition. My manicure did not make it past 1 week. I had cracks in nail polish, nails that had lifted off. It was the worst. Also, pedicures usually last long regardless... not this one. I had at least 4 chipped nails by day 8. Unacceptable. Cost: it was $59 for gel mani/ regular pedi. This is more expensive than what I'm used to. However, it is actually cheaper than other salons in the area. Nonetheless, I will pay twice the amount to have a good quality mani/pedi anywhere else. I keep going here out of convenience, but this last mani I had was just too bad to go back. I had to ask her to refile a nail, then to fix a nail twice, and at this point she ended up getting an snotty, so I just kept my mouth shut. I have tried many nail salons in Ann Arbor and had yet to find mine. But I think this one is it. The salon looks nice, good/modern decor. I went on a Friday around 1pm. It was fairly busy but I was seen right away. I asked for a pedi and fill in. They did my pedi first. I had a gentleman pedicurist and he was very nice, he spoke to me and asked me questions. The pedi was very relaxing, they used hot stones in the massage as well. They did not hurt me or rip at my nails or skin as I've experienced at other salons. I got a my gel fill in next and had a female this time. She was kind and talked to me as well. She was easy to understand and paid attention to me. My nails looks great and she did the shape I wanted. I was there for only about an hour. My only complaint is that one of my nails bubbled a bit before I got in the car. My until impression of Bebe when I visited was that they were great and very fast. However, the gel manicure I got didn't last at all! It started chipping after just a few days. I suspect this is because they didn't allow the nails to dry fully under the UV lamp for 60 seconds. They were the type of people that made you take your nails out when they were done painting them, NOT when the timer was done counting. It's difficult not to come here and feel neglected when it is super busy, but don't worry about that - they'll get to you and depending on what you want, they can be super quick about it too. It had been a busy week and the salon closest to my house was booked SOLID. I was in despair. I didn't have my car because I had been in class all day and had no idea how I was going to get from campus to any decent nail place within a reasonable amount of time, but I tried anyway. I managed to get on wrong bus, correct myself, and get down there within a few minutes of my "appointment" time, that I made just a few hours before. They were able to take me - with a same day appointment - and in one's time of need, that's all one really wants. I sat down awkwardly for maybe 20-25 minutes, surrounded thankfully by a person I knew and a person I had become familiar with and the time passed with ease. They were jam packed, every tech had a client, maybe even two, and it was hard not to feel as if no one would get to me, but they did and when they did within half an hour, my outgrown shellac nails were updated by this lovely young man into a beautiful OPI Gel color called " Love is in my cards" and I was happy.  $30-something well spent, because I was in a pinch and had no other time to get them done because my event was the next day EARLY in the morning and they really came through. Let me tell you, they're troopers, because in the middle of my appointment with an already FULL HOUSE 7 people came in and they just put the work in. I get it now, I get why people trust their beautification services with this place. If you're good to them, for the most part they will try their darnedest to be good to you. Give them a chance. My friend just got blood poisen, STAY AWAY! They are rude, and not gentle! She is in the ER with a chance of dieing bc they knicked her foot and used unsatintary stuff! Once I went in and I watched them use the calus thing on me and not even rinse it off and use it on someone else! like WTF! STAY AWAY!!!
