I will no longer use any services provide by this company. I will also use every online outlet to spread the word. Your discriminatory practices will cost you the business of all that refuse to spend money at such a despicable establishment. While I was seated at the drying station, a salon employee approached me with the ticket and stated "pay now." I then pulled out my wallet and provided payment. I observed other customers leave the drying station, retrieve their coats fro...m the rack and then approach the register to provide payment. After my nails were dry, I asked to speak with a manger. I informed him that I would no longer use their services and explained the incident. The manager lied and informed me that it is store policy to retrieve payment at the drying station. My friend called them out on Stop the Hate 508 and their apology was insulting as it implied that there was a misunderstanding on my part. To make the matter worse, the manager is oblivious to the notion that is a discriminatory practice to ask black people to pay before hand and everyone else after they actually get their coats. Finally I found a good nail salon! I saw Tony and he was great! My nails are perfect and I am so happy. One very pleasant thing was there is no TVs blasting, Just very tasteful music. Emma was AWESOME! I just recently moved back to this area after a long absence and it is so important to have a go-to nail place in the neighborhood, am I right ladies? Prices were very reasonable. I called on a Saturday to make an appointment for me and my step-daughter, but I was estimating we wouldn't be there until about an hour before they closed. They said that was fine, they still took us, and surprisingly, they do not rush or cut corners at all. I got a manicure and pedicure, and my step daughter got a full set. We were there from 4:30 to 6:30 (they closed at 6) and the staff could not have been friendlier. Also, all products used came directly out of a piping hot autoclave. Too notch.Read Less

I don't get my nails done often, but when I do, I always come here. They always accommodate my requests, use quality products and do a fantastic job. My nails last for weeks and if I have any issues they always go above and beyond. Came here because I was looking for a well established nail salon for a couple hours of pampering! Pedicure was originally all I came for. They got me right in and began, ok pedicure nothing spectacular.. I was a little disappointed they didn't include a scrub on feet and legs only lotion I'm guessing you have to upgrade for that... I later noticed when I got home you could see the blobs of top coat where it wasn't evenly applied. I then got convinced to go nails and ended up doing a acrylic overlay because they're so weak. I will say it's been about 2 weeks and they still do look great... color has stayed nicely and very nice natural shape. I loved that I was in and out in justtt about 2 hours maybe a little less. I went to Couture on Wednesday as a walk-In for a pedicure. I have been there before for the same treatment, so I felt comfortable going in without an appointment. I really needed a manicure as well, but it was getting late in the afternoon, so a declined a manicure. The staff insisted, saying the manicure could be done at the same time as the pedicure. Long story short: I should have saved the $18 + tip and done my fingernails myself. The pedicure is fine, as expected. But I... had to remove the polish on my nails THE FOLLOWING DAY as it had peeled away from the tips. As I am an 'older' client, my nails are dry, brittle, and break easily. So I have to keep them covered to provide extra strength for them. No matter here - two of them broke anyway. So if you go in there, and I am not saying you shouldn't, you'd be better off declining the offer of a mani done simultaneously to a pedi. Especially if 'Rose' is doing the mani. See More Read Less

Awesome pedis and nail work. I like the Tropicana pedicure, which is a little expensive but worth it because it is timed. They are sticklers about appointments though and don't seem to be fully staffed all the time. Definitely call ahead and don't count on walk in appointments. Read Less

I have been looking for a good nail salon in the New England area since I moved and I finally found one! They are clean, friendly, and accommodating. I got a gel manicure on Friday and unfortunately two nails peeled due to lake water and heat by Tuesday. I went in on Wednesday to get them redone (and willing to pay for it) and they didn't charge. I'm really disappointed with this place and maybe it's because I had really high hopes given this place has almost 5 stars! First off, I paid WAYYY TOO MUCH $89 for a mess on my hands and feet. I asked for ombré French acrylics. Kathy suggested gel she said it doesn't look good with reg nail polish (which is more expensive, fine). I was under the impression that she was the one  posting the pictures on Instagram and yelp so I couldn't to make her my nail lady. As I mentioned her work she went along with it. She applied 6 or 7 coats of nail polish and I hate my nails thick!! I look at my nails like oh god what did she do?! It had already took an hour and I wasn't going to spend another hour with my 3 year old. Fast forward pedicure, emma suggested a more expensive pedicure that should take 40 minutes. It wasn't that long. I was so annoyed and disappointed at this point that I just picked a random color and got it done. The nail polish on my toes bled all over the corners of my nails. When the nice bill came I wanted so badly to react but I paid and walked out. The girl in the front told me "they look fine that's how they're supposed to look." She acted like I was a bother and said I guess someone can do them over if you want. I said no I don't have time. Now I'm here with ugly fingers and toes and out $95. I am SUPER picky about getting my nails done because they are paper thin and very sensitive - so I am happy to say Couture Nails did an AMAZING job!! They were quick and efficient, all the nails are even and have no specs or anything! The nails look flawless and the best part is the technicians were super gentle with me, and made sure to put plenty of that protective polish on before they did the gel color. I was a first time client here and had a pedicure and gel manicure done.Positives: great selection of different treatments and packages, friendly service, willing to stay past closing hours and not rush to finish the job.Negatives: pricey and my gel manicure wasn't very clean looking (i.e. the nail polish was not shaped around my nails after being applied) and started lifting and peeling off within 3-4 days of having my manicure. So first I have to say, 3 of the women in my life went here and their nails came out beautiful and the price was very good. So that was awesome. The ladies don't want me to write this review because they really did enjoy this place. But I have to throw it out there. My Fiancé, little sister,  and sister in law. Ages being 23, 21, and 17 respectively. 17 for 2 days at the time. My little sister just happened to get the owner of the nail salon as her stylist. During that time he asked her if she had ever had a manicure and she said no, to which he replied "Oh so you're a manicure virgin". Which was weird but possibly innocent. Then he was massaging her hand during it and he was said "You like that?" And she replied yeah. Then in a weird way he said "That's what happens when a real man touches you". To a barely 17 year old girl. Of course after all that harassment he asked her how old she was and she said 17 and then he backed off. But that's not okay. I've always enjoyed coming here, but lately some staff have been just rude. I came in at 10:45AM for a fill (walk-in) and the place was empty. Just one person getting a pedicure. The girl who was going to do my fill says: "can you wait a few minutes because I'm getting my nails done?" She had me wait over 15 minutes as she gets her nails designed by another staff. After 15 minutes, I could no longer wait and asked if someone else can do it or if I can speak to Danny, the manager whom unfortunately wasn't available. The girl got upset and said "I'm almost done with my nails" and then began speaking in Vietnamese which is rude!! . So unprofessional. I then asked to have Rose do them for me which she did. Rose is a sweetheart and always does an amazing job. This will definitely be my last time here. It was so uncomfortable. Definitely need to work on training their staff on customer service. Read Less
