Friendly staff at the front and just a general good vibe.  The massage technique with the pedicure is excellent and hit on a variety of pressure points. They also include hot stones in the pedicure! Good exfoliation and callous removal. They also don't nickel and dime you throughout the pedicure - all services included in the price. Massage chairs are definitely above average. Just went in for a eyelash refill. Lady rushed the process want even there 10mins and charged me wrong price. I was told a different price last time. When I told her about it she gave me attitude. They rushed the process to paint my nails. I wanted a French tip and they put too many coats on then put a super thick top coat that looked like it was too old. I have too many bubbles and bumps. Looks awful Read Less

They usually do a good job (have had to go back once for bubbling nail polish that refused to dry aka old) at good prices but always running late and generally slow- I consistently call ahead to schedule an appointment at a specific time but it doesn't help - always end up leaving 40mins-1.5hrs later than I should. Writing this while waiting for a wax appt that should've started 30 mins ago. Counter-intuitively, if it's peak time and you happen to walk in before the next person's appointment or there's an open chair for mani/pedi, things move quickly! Read Less

I got a basic manicure done last Tuesday it was my first time getting a manicure. Maybe its my ignorance but does everyone have a bad first experience with manicures ? The skin right at the edge of where the finger meets the nail, of ALL my finger nails is peeling and my right thumb is the worst it is still healing ! About the guy who did my manicure hats off to the speed I'm very happy about that because i dont think im patient enough to sit through an hour long of nail stuff. But i have to admit he liked to pause and stare at the TV screen. Didnt think the service was over friendly but I loved the clientale. I was looking at the gel manicure colors (while i was there for a basic manicure) and one of the girls who was with her group of friends i suppose showed me to the other section where i should go look for my color. I opted a clear coat in the end. And then at the dryer, there was this other lady who i had a quick chat with. But in the end, im not going back. All in all my experience was just ok. The first thing that surprised me about this place was the run down appearance of the salon. All of the equipment and furniture looked like it was at least ten years old and I was surprised at how dirty the place felt. I'm not sure if it was just old or if it really could have used a good scrub down. Even the nail polishes looked really old, many with no labels or so old they had separated in the jar--just not at all aesthetically pleasing. The service was better than the appearance of the salon. I got the basic pedicure and was happy with how the nail tech did my nails for the most part. There was a lot included in the basic pedicure such as hot stone massage and a leg scrub. At the end I noticed there was a fair amount of nail polish on my skin. All in all, I will not be going back. There are better salons for the same price. Read Less

I got a full set of acrylics and a pedicure here yesterday and it was a decent experience. They were very busy and short staffed so I did feel a bit rushed and I did not like how they did painted my fingernails while I was getting my pedicure- but they did such an amazing job that it made up for it. After getting my nails done at Creative Nails on park ave and having them do a purely shitty job. I decided to go to Cherry Nails, considering I had been there before. I was seated immediately, and the nail technician was super friendly and did an amazing job on my nails. The best I've ever had. Here is an outstanding example of how you get what you pay for. I wanted eyelash extensions for my wedding and wanted to test them out first. Cherry is one of the only places in the area who listed their prices for eyelash extentions online and seemed reasonable. Most salons are charging in excess of $100. Cherry was $30. The room where they do the lashes, waxing, etc was really gross. Dirty, small, with two places for people to lay down to get treatments.The process of putting on the lashes was relatively painless and the final result was not really what I was going for. The amount of glue used to affix them make them all clumpy and I decided this was probably not the way to go for my wedding. But I figured I would live with it for a couple of weeks until they started to fall out.The lashes started falling out a couple of days ago (about 10 days after the application). Today I decided they all needed to be removed because they were starting to look pretty silly.  That's when the fun started. It took me over an hour of agony to pry the lashes off my face and in the process managed to remove more than 1/2 of my existing lashes. There was SO MUCH GLUE that you couldn't even remove one lash at a time. They were all stuck to each other so you had to loosen them up all together and then try to scrape them off gently without pulling out the natural lashes. This does not work at all. So my opinion is this. If you are looking for lash extensions bite the bullet and go to the fancy salon and pay the money for the good ones. Save yourself the agony of cheap, poorly applied lashes.
