I tried this place twice.  The first time the gel lamps kept turning off after only a couple seconds. This happened repeatedly but the nail tech did not seem bothered by it.  It was no surprise that it only lasted about 6 days.  The second time I went, I got a different girl (Heidi). The gel lamp was actually working this time but Heidi was super aggressive.  She was pushing and pulling at my hands and filing very harshly.  She cut my cuticle on my thumb and made it bleed and she aggressively filed my nails to the point where there are several cuts on my hands.  She also did a horrible job with painting  overall.  She was super in a rush and ended up painting outside of my nails on all fingers.  By the way, I got a regular manicure the first time and it cost $33.  I went back one week later just to change the polish and it cost $30- JUST for a polish change.  Rip off. Tried dip nails here and they had a very limited color selection. Great technician (ivy) but the nails did not last me even a week! They started chipping and the gel top coat was peeling off. I called them and they were willing to fix my nails free of charge- which was great...but not even 3 days later, my nail broke in half and chipping and peeling started again. They pack on the dip powder too thin and they were wayyyy over priced at $47. I've done dip before and it's usually only $35. For the price I paid, I didn't even get a hand massage. She cut my fingers in 4 different places! I was bleeding and she didn't even apologize!! She was clearly in a rush to finish me and get it over with (even though the place was empty). Went to Posh Nails when my two go-to salons were fully booked.  Asked for a standard pedicure ($6 more than my normal spots) and got extremely sub-par service. Technician seemed extremely confused, her attempt at the calf massage was so weak that I asked her to please skip it (she was actually irritating me more than providing relaxation) and when I went to dry my toes, I noticed that one toe was smudged. That seemed to bring about such drama that I paid, politely declined to have it repaired, and left. Won't be returning.  Back to Nails 2000 and Nail Zone. Better service and better pricing. I barely ever get my nails done but I did it for a special occasion. My nail stylist was attentive, sweet and patient. I was very happy with the way my nails came out. The prices were overall reasonable. 35 dollars for a French gel mani and 37 for a French pedi. Read Less

Courteous enough. Don't get pink n white powder here. Results were poor. Technician seemed to be in a rush. I changed technicians as the first one who began with me evidently didn't know what she was doing. Another guy comes to take over, so I have to move with I explanation. Nails not in good shape. Great clean nail salon! Prices were on par with the area. Staff was very friendly and gave me exactly what I wanted. Did not feel rushed at all! My only complaint was that there was no "tip" section on my receipt and I didn't have any cash on me. I had to go to the ATM down the street just to give a tip. Very inconvenient. Read Less

Over priced, disrespectful, and lack of talent are three things to describe this salon. They have ruined my nails many times, they take way too long and they always have an attitude. The owner is rude and the staff sits around. I'm in my early 20's. I get it. A slow day, you want to play on your phone. But I stood at the door for a long time before anyone even looked up to help me. I never get my cuticles cut because I bleed really easily. I asked them not to do it and they did it anyways. Then she used an electric filer and filed a hole in my skin on the same finger because she was talking to the employee next to her! This was a month ago and I STILL have a burn. Great salon with relatively low prices. Manicures are $15, and if you get the right manicurist they can last longer than most salons as well. Only downside is they spend a large amount of time trying to get you to either upgrade to a gel manicure or to add a pedicure to your treatment as well. Sometimes this can be over bearing, but aside from the pressure to upgrade, I'd give this salon a pretty good rating! Read Less

I highly recommend this place! I went in to get a simple manicure. The place is so bright and cozy and the staff is excellent. They're very sweet and friendly and would sometimes engage you in friendly conversation. It's very nice on the inside (much more than how it looks from the outside...they use a black window so you can't see in and it's hard to tell). I had a good manicure for the most part and the girl doing my nails really cared about how it looked. My only note of caution is they will attempt to use the drill file if you have a gel manicure (to get rid of existing polish). I was told by another place that this is not the way to go as it can destroy your nails. Some places will try to use it though because it is faster. Sure enough, I asked her not to use the drill (for one thing, it hurts!) and the guy who works there came right over to me to argue why it should be used (my skin will dry out if just soaked longer in acetone, it's better and then the magic words "it's faster"). We were pretty much at an awkward standstill because I'm the customer, I don't want the drill, I'm asking nicely. Finally they agreed to just use a regular file. But, it shouldn't be that hard to ask for what you want. Read Less

I have been to many nail salons in my life and I must say this is one of my favorites if not my #1. I have gotten gel nails at many different nail salons in Boston and the Boston area, and none of them have lasted as long and as shiny as they do when I get them done at posh nails. Best was for a great price, and nail prices are reasonable too. All of the employees I've been to have been wonderful. Awful place!!! The Manager is disorganized in a rush and very angry.  Unfortunately she was the one doing my nails.  She was very rough and cut my cuticles so deep they started bleeding, she filed my nails so hard that they were all roughed up and crooked.  If I could give this place minus stars I would. I have been about 8 times for pedicures and have only been happy with the job half the time.This last time, it will be the last visit.  I booked an appointment for this past Sunday morning to have a relaxing hour away from my babies and I was so disappointed. They gave me the new girl. She had no clue how to do anything, the other staff was stepping in to correct her work which was embarrassing for both me and the salon girl. I asked for a spa pedicure and she didn't know any of the steps. Crap massage. And it took so long I had to leave with wet toes. Also, I got my hands waxed a while back to test that service... Walked in with my friend after realizing the normal nail place we go to was closed unexpectedly... Good selection of gel colors, and quick turnaround to get us at a station. But my gel manicure took a very long time (with just the polish application, not even considering the prep and cuticle work) and my friend was done with her gel manicure a good 25 minutes before me. It was frustrating considering we had places to go, and then on top of it all, 3 of my nails had bubbles. The girl was polite but obviously was either new or not familiar with the gel process... Come on girls..how often do you go into a salon and swear you will never go back due to poor quality or customer service?  Well, I can tell you I have been searching for years for my "Go To" nail salon where they know your name, how you like your nails and actually thank you for your business.  If this sounds like you--go to POSH.  It is NICELY DECORATED, CLEAN AS A WHISTLE and KENNIE Rocks.  He can do a gel manicure in 45 minutes--and it is PERFECT.  But I have had other's do both my mani and pedi and not once have I been disappointed.  They also do waxing--and did my daughters brows perfectly.  It is my pleasure to finally find a nail salon in Metro West that is worth talking about.  POSH is the PLACE! I'm a pedicure queen! I live in Westborough and there aren't many nail salons nearby. Well the first time I went to get a pedicure, they removed too much skin from my heels - after few weeks, calluses started to build up and it became very uncomfortable.However I was impressed that the polish stayed on so i went back to give it a second chance - the pedicurist cut my big toenails too short and that immediately that week, i had red swelling skin around them. it was soo painful. I later learned that they were ingrown nails!!! i'm never going back there-- and my love for pedicures is forever tarnished. Im afraid to get hurt again! Read Less
