I love this salon because everyone is always so friendly !! I have never had a bad job on my nails here always leave feeling satisfied. Their pedicure chairs are nice and very clean. The whole salon is clean and comfortable! Also the prices are very reasonable. But like I said everyone here is so friendly you walk in and you're instantly greeted even if they are busy they will get you in quickly! Good customer service is a must and they have it here! I got a full set of gel nails and 4 days later 2 of them had already broken (one broke while I was making my bed) and 3 or 4 chipped... they fixed it for free but it's now another 4 days and had 2 more nails break. Read Less

I went there to get stiletto nails and what I received was a mess! They were crooked and poorly done. When I went in for them to fix them I sat almost an hour to get them filed and still be partially crooked. I was very displeased. You should not waste your time or money here! Read Less

Terrible. I paid 55 dollars for a manicure and pedicure and only the nails was gel nails. Don't understand why it goes form 32 for a mani and pedi to 55 just for gel nail on fingers. The lady tried to get me to upgrade again to gel feet and I said no. After that she was pretty much rushing me the whole time. 3 days later, my gel manicure is chipped on 3 fingers already. I've been going to Royal nails for over 5 years. They have excellent service and I never have to wait I just call ahead. I always go to MiMi and she does my perfect shape and designs, which I had a hard time finding for a long time in western mass. Mimi is also super fast which I love, since I am a bit impatient. I also get my pedicures there!! Massage chairs, tv, eyelashes, waxing. You name it, they do it quick and with excellence. Super clean, all tools are sterilized and opened in front of you. Never get your nails done here. I left with multiple cuts all along my nails. The girl kept hitting my skin with the tool that spins. Not exactly sure what it's called but it burned my skin off. I told her that she was doing it but she continued. As of right now I have multiple scabs along the sides of my nails. Never going here again. Read Less

Went into royal nails for the first time today and had a spa pedicure and shellac manicure with Rose. I was greeted right away as i entered and taken to a pedicure chair. Rose recommended the spa pedicure and told me it would be 40 dollars. I can certainly  appreciate that she told me ahead of time! The pedicure was ok, the massage average. The spa pedicure consisted of hot towels, hot stone and thats all i remember...  (shellac color on your toes is 20 bucks more!!!) After she scrubbed my feet with the cheese grater, she went to the sink to wash it off with a brush, a brush i would later use to wash my nails, yuck! She double dipped her gloved hands into the pedi scrub jar, and actually touched the foot of the woman next to me with the same gloves she was using on my feet. Call me a germaphobe, but thats nasty! She did my shellac manicure in less than 15 minutes. It doesn't look bad at all, but I'm interested to see how long it lasts. Overall the experience was ok, but it felt a little rushed. I had high expectations for this place as the interior was fairly clean and the place was packed! Unfortunately, the quality of their work is horrible. My manicurist rushed through my manicure, and did such a poor job of cuticle cleaning that she frequently had to go back and re clean areas while polishing !!!! After I left the salon and looked in the sunlight, the polish is completely not smooth and the cuticles look horrible. Oh and she constantly was using her own sharp figure nail to clean of edges ! I Came in on a Thursday afternoon and I was seated in pedicure chair immediately. I was charged pedicure with callus remove, but the technician barely scrub and did not use any callus remover. I chose a neutral pink for my gel mani, which is fairly easy to polish, but she did 3 coats and they were messy- didn't clean around so I have polish on my skin. Had a full set of gel nails done the other day and my experience was OK. I kept asking for the man to do my nails shorter and it seemed like after a while he became annoyed because I wanted them short. Arnt they mine? And when I finally picked a color instead of the one I asked for they gave me one they "promised" was the same (so not) rather than just saying it wasn't available. Not to mention the whole time other employees were playing loud games on their phones and slurping down a bowl of soup....not professional.  I have had my nails done there a few times but i'm not sure I will be returning after this. I was feeling sad lately and decided to treat myself to a mani and pedicure the place was nice and clean and the service was excellent, they just remodel the place and it was beautiful, inside. i tend to go to several different places for my eyebrows, and this place is pretty good. there was only about a five minute wait and I went the day before thanksgiving which gets pretty hectic. my brows had been in pretty bad shape and they came out almost perfect (I plucked a tiny bit after). it was seven dollars which isn't too bad, it's also a convenient location. So i came here as a spur of the moment thing. I got a pedicure it was ok. I really can not stand when im getting a service and the person is having side conversations. A pedi here was 22$. But i some how ended up paying 42$ which is effing ridiculous i might as well shound had gotten fricking acrylics done...I did choose to get a gel polish but i have been to many many many salons and never paids over 35 dollars for gel polish to be included in my pedicure. I just thought 20 more to add polish was way to much. And they should let customers know the additional charges if they are that high. Because that is a huge difference from all the salons i have gone to. And its not even that nice inside at all i been to way more nicer looking salons. Honestly I don't know why I came here a second time. The shellac manicure was awful. She completely filed my nails down that I've been growing out for 3 weeks because I pointed out that ONE nailwasn't shaped right. She only did two layers of color which did not cover well and looked streaky. Less than a week into it, they chipped so I went to get them touched up. I use to love Royal! I went there yesterday and I saw two very disturbing things. A young girl who just started working there was being treated awful by the owner and their family. The girl was doing everything right, and they were bullying her! The other thing I saw was that people were not being seen in the order they came in the shop based on race. I went in for a mani-pedi. I almost left because the fumes were so strong...guess I should have gone with my instincts. The pedicure was fine, but when I got the manicure, she cut my thumb (it is now bandaged and infected). When I said that I just wanted clear polish, she asked if I wanted a hard, shiny clear polish, and I said sure. After drying, I paid the guy at the front desk and left. A few minutes later, they came out to find me in the parking lot to tell me that I owed another $15 for the special finish on my manicure. What!? After my manicure was just botched with a bleeding thumb, and then she never mentioned an extra charge for the hard coat, now they are asking me for more money? Love this place! Judy is my girl for the mani/pedis and Waylo dominates the nail art each and every time I go. The place is spotless, the staff is smiling and their prices are beyond reasonable. Plenty of parking in the Stop n' Shop Plaza and I have never had to wait. Plenty of shellac colors if thats what you're into.I usually just pick my base colors, see Judy and then let Waylon do what he thinks is best. I had a man names Kevin, there are 2 that work there. My sister got a woman who's name sounded like Yana. Anyway, we were both happy with the experience until it got time for the designs. Only Kevin could do them. I asked for a flower, he said that I don't want a flower but he will make a nice design. Okay.... Then for my sister who wanted a flower, he said her toe nails were too small and that she should pick something else. Just tell us that you can't do a flower design, Kevin. So I got a cool design and my sister ended up with stripes because she couldn't think of anything else. It's $22 for a pedicure and it was a nice experience.
