I’ve tried out a number of good salons in my day but this one certainly stands out in customer satisfaction and every single one of their stylists is extremely friendly and very knowledgeable! I just recently moved to Wayland and found an ad for this salon in FB. I decided to give it a try based on the reviews and all the services they offered so to start I booked an appt with an stylist named Jessica (goes by Jess) for a full Balayage based on the pics of her color work on the salon website. My appt was booked in advance for Thurs 01/11. I received a call on the same day of my appt from Nicole (the receptionist I am assuming) informing me that "Jess" called out si...ck and that I needed to reschedule my appt. As per Nicole Jess next available date was Tuesday 1/16 at 1:00pm or at 4:45pm, Nicole recommended the 4:45pm time so Jess will have enough time to do my hair color so I booked my appt for that time and date following Nicole's recommendation. I was very excited and looking forward to my 1st appt until this afternoon when I again received a call from the salon informing me that Jess wont have time to do my hair on Tuesday 01/16 either, due to the time I booked it for and the salon closing at 7:00pm on that day. I was told Jess was going on vacation after that and was given a later date at the end of January to reschedule my appt AGAIN! I explained to the person on the phone I booked that time/date as recommended by Nicole and that in less than 1 week I already had to change my work schedule around this 2 appts with Jess that got cancelled around their convenience. Needless to say I did not and I will not reschedule my appt a 3rd time since I was looking for a long term relationship with a serious professional stylist and salon that care about their clients, completely the opposite of what I found here! Gabriella was very informative and took the time to give me tips on how to make my hair healthier, without making me feel like she was just trying to sell me products. She also took a lot of extra time to go back and shorten my hair when I mentioned that next time I'd like it a little shorter and I really appreciated that. Prices are the going rate for salons. Salon Arte is a comfortable and chic salon with great stylists! Mallorie has been doing my hair for over 10 years and is truly a perfectionist along with being honest, friendly and warm! I trust her completely with keeping my blonde bright yet natural. She takes the time to understand what I want and offers honest suggestions to achieve what I want but looking out for the long term health of my hair. People stop me to ask who colors my hair. I have been to the salon a few times now. My experience each time has always been wonderful. The front desk always greets you with a smile. I have had cuts from Margaret, Jess and Adam and each of them have been amazing. The salon has a sleek vibe to it and is always very clean! I was brought to this salon after being a long time customer of the owner at a different location. Now, I'm a dude, so I'm generally looking for a simple style and cut, and without fail it seems impossible to find someone who can replicate what it is that I'm looking for if I attend other salons. Here, however, is very different. The staff are incredibly cordial and friendly, and go a long to making you feel comfortable and at home. The decor inside is quite nice, and it's tucked in a smallish location directly off of Route 20, which makes for extremely easy access if you're nearby. The hair stylists there are receptive to feedback, are all fun, and do the best job of any place that I go to to get my hair cut. I cannot give any higher recommendation than saying that even if you are a guy, I encourage you to check this place out. If you want to impress a new person in your life, then a haircut from this place might do it!Overall, this place is fantastic, and as long as I'm in the Boston area, I will be going here. Read Less

Salon Arte is the only salon I will go to. The atmosphere is very inviting and the service is nothing short of fabulous! It is the result of professionals that work there who treat you like family and even better!
