I had nothing but good things to say about this place However, apparently if you dislike something they do 2 years ago, you're on the "black list" I noticed something wrong with my gel manicure and the owner? and her client from across the room started laughing hysterically I won't be back even though I liked this place After the laughter from my mentioning of the jagged nail, I didn't want to give them any more money.  That's when the owner's husband said that I didn't like what the waxing person did 2 years ago I don't go places and spend good money with good people and complain for no reason. If you enjoy assembly line, factory like, impersonal, sterile service, this is the place for you.  Only came here since I had a gift card. Won't be back. I had an appointment. But I was asked to wait since they had lots of walk ins. I don't think appointments mean anything since they never asked me my name.  As people walked in, appointment or not, they were just shoved in the next available chair. They have this long counter set up to do nails. It looks like one of those airport laptop charging station, complete with horrible uncomfortable chair.  The chairs are numbered - chair one needs to be wrapped, chair 5 is ready for polish, chair 7 just went to wash her hands. The stylist who came to do my nails never introduced herself. She just wanted me to "pick a color".  And wanted to know why I wasn't getting a pedicure. As soon as my stylist arrived, I felt rushed. They give a really nice chair massage with the manicure. Both times I had gel manicures the edges of my nails were rough. I wanted a fun sparkly color over a solid color and not only did the lady seem critical of my choice, I could her her talking to a co worker about it! Worst experience ever. They told me they have done better shape for me. I was like what? I have to reshape my nails back home since some of they are long some are short. And they told me they cannot do square.the gel is not bright at all.cannot do five colors. Just anything I said, they said they cannot do. And this cost me 32 dollars. Read Less

Horrible Experience!!!We decided to try a new place for pedicures and I used their online reservation system to make appointments.  We arrived on time and the place was packed with people.  In fact, it took awhile for anyone to even acknowledge our arrival.  We waited 45 minutes past our appointment time - and had been told repeatedly it would be just a few more minutes.  When two pedicure stations opened up - we thought it was finally our turn - but there were other customers demanding those pedicure spots.  It was ridiculous - so rather than get in to a fight - we gave up our spots and decided to just leave.   I have never had an experience like this and needless to say, we wont ever, ever return. Went with a girlfriend on Saturday for a spa pedicure and just loved it! Making a reservation was a breeze through their website. Lots of options to pick from so we went for the spa pedicure which has a 5 minutes extra massage than the regular one. The prices here are decent as compared to a lot of others in the area.This place is in the Wayland plaza so I was able to find a parking spot. My friend was running a little late but they let me pick the color and settle in while I waited. I thought they might not appreciate being late but they were nice about it so one extra star :) The place is clean and the staff is really friendly. Plus they have a lot of nail colors to choose from. Our pedicures started by the usual soaking of feet and our technician moved on with the usual stuff. They use the hot stone massage which I have never had before but it felt sooo good!!! I really enjoyed it. My friend just had a baby and her pedicure lady was sweet. We got engaged in talking to her and she shared some of her baby experiences as well. After the pedicure was over, they seated us at the drying area. I just wish the chairs had a back rest coz we were there for almost 10 mins (they told us) and sitting straight for that long just after a pedicure wasn't fun. No one came to tell us that we were good to go so we just went to the check out place and paid. I wish our pedicure technician could have came back and checked on us but overall I enjoyed my experience here.Would be going back for sure! Read Less

Just got a mani and pedi today after the gym and I was surprised ! I was quickly paired up with Tammy and they knew exactly what polish I was talking about by name. They seem to have a great Variety of polish from Essie to CND and they seem very familiar with the colors. The environment was very quiet and "melo" which is great for relaxation. Both seats were very comfortable and I liked the bar for the manicure. Only off putting part was that the nail techs stand during the process but if they're comfortable then that's fine, still couldn't help but wonder. The little shoulder massage was great at the end (wish it was longer) put hey I'm paying for the mani pedi right ? Wish they had signs that tips can't be included on the card. I've been going here for the past few times because there don't seem to be any other good salons in the area but the last couple times the quality of work seems to have gone down. I got a regular mani-pedi 3 days ago and my manicure has already started chipping. The pedicure isn't doing much better either. If you are getting a mani-pedi, they'll do the pedicure first and put a fan by your feet for the pedicure to dry while they are doing the manicure. Once the manicure is done, the nail tech is GONE never to be seen again! I would expect them to come by and check to make sure that the nail paint is dry and that it all looks good. I have been dying to find a place like this that won't break the bank, and has OPTIONS! My sister lives in Framingham, so while it's a bit far for me, it will be worth it to go back just for the overall greatness.The concept of the nail salon is awesome.  It's set up just like it says, a bar.  The pedicure section is in another room, and the chairs you sit in are wonderful.  I would give up those massage chairs any day for these.  The are comfy, plush, and easy to move around in, whereas the massage chairs I always fear I will drop, detach, or break something.The options they have for colors and brands is why we landed here.  I have been dying to try Essie gel, and I also miss DEARLY OPI gel. They also have the other original brands like CND. The girls there are super sweet, and very welcoming.  Bonnie of course is so adorable, and you can tell have a great relationship with the other girls.  Tammie did my nails, and she is funny, sassy, and friendly!  She is also spot on with her skills.  Usually when we go to a nail salon we end up there for almost two hours!  I have no idea how it takes that long because you also feel really rushed. My sister and I came a half hour before closing time, and we were out of there in an hour, THAT IS IMPRESSIVE.  We got a pedicure, and gel nails.  I also had gel nails and toes taken off.  Mostly, I didn't feel rushed at all!  HERE'S WHERE I AM SOLD... It's been a few days, and my nails still look AWESOME.  I always believe its not the nail brand, but who does them that makes them last. I am VERY ROUGH with my nails, and it's been five days and no chip, peeling, or dullness.  Although this is the first time I've tried Essie Gel, I firmly believe it's truly a testament to the skills behind the work these ladies do.A plus is while your nails dry or bake under the UV for the last three minutes or so, they will come around and give you a shoulder massage while you wait.  Such a nice added touch.  They also use hot stones on your legs and exfoliating scrub for your pedi.  This is all the touches of a luxurious spa, but without having to pay those prices.  They are so reasonable.Femiluxe is also up to date on all the technology and social media.  You can make appointments online, I LOVE THAT. Little touches make a huge deal.  They also have tea and coffee while you wait.  I can't wait to go back.  I currently have a membership with another nail salon near my house for another six months, but I don't even care, I'm a fan of FEMILUXE! After a last minute cancellation with a local spa Femiluxe welcomed my bridal party and I two days before my wedding and took even better care of us!! By far the best place to get a mani/pedi. My gel mani lasts forever and never chips. They have an abundance of colors to choose from.
