Terrible experience. Stylist appeared to be listening, but then did the exact opposite of what I told her to do. Took off 2 to 3 inches more than I told her; left long bits hanging down in front when I clearly stated Same length all around; cut a shelf into the back of my hair when I told her specifically not to do this but leave all the volume at the bottom. She wrecked my hair before an important occasion. Now I can't leave the house without blow-drying my hair to try to disguise the mess in the back.

Maggie's Salon was absolutely amazing organizing many hair and makeup appointments for my wedding day! We were able to bring breakfast and spend the morning there and all my bridesmaids loved their hair and makeup. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. Tara did a beautiful job with my up-do!!!

I went to Maggie's Salon last Friday after waiting for an appointment with Maggie herself for two months. And frankly, all the NY and Westchester salons that I have been to in my life none have ever gotten my hair right!!!!!!! Maggie is as amazing as everyone says she is. She listened to me talk about my hair, about what it will do and won't do and what I can't do (hold a dryer and brush for 10 minutes) any more due to arthritis. My hair wasn't always naturally curly but it is now and on MV with the humidity I just have to run with the curls. I've never had a professional stylist get it as right as Maggie did. I am really impressed! Why didn't I come sooner? My bad.

Maggie's Salon is amazing! The staff is friendly and really talented! I had my hair done here for my wedding last month. Kristen was super helpful answering my questions and setting up my consultation (I went in August for a practice run) and with setting up the appointment and timing on my wedding day. Tara did my hair. I've worked in spas and salons most of my life, this girl takes the cake on up do's! It came out even better than I could have ever imagined! She even intertwined a strand of pearls I wanted incorporated. I hadn't brought them in for the trial, but she made it work and didn't miss a beat! Emily did my mother's hair and it came out exactly like the picture she brought in, it was perfect!I will def come back to Maggie's when I'm on the Vineyard next summer. They use great products and really know their stuff....I highly recommend for wedding hair, or anything else!Thank you Tara!

Tara is hands down the best on the island. Such a talented sweet person. I started going to Maggie's Salon after an awful off island experience and Tara was dedicated to getting my hair happy and healthy again. I'm a blonde (highlights) so keeping blondes looking natural and keeping the hair healthy is so important. My hair has never looked better - color, style, body & length! Now I will not go anywhere else. Thank you Tara and Maggie!

I went to a wedding on the island and not knowing any of the salons personally, I picked one closest to where I was staying. It was easy to get to, a local bus has a drop off point less than a quarter...
I went to a wedding on the island and not knowing any of the salons personally, I picked one closest to where I was staying. It was easy to get to, a local bus has a drop off point less than a quarter mile from the salon. I was extremely impressed with the service I received! Tara not only did wonderful things with my hair, she literally "took me under her wing" and taught me a lot. If I lived on the island I believe she would have changed my life. Or, at least the life of my hair. Great salon! Also, they carry Oribe products, if that tells you anything!

I went to Maggie's Salon last Friday after waiting for an appointment with Maggie herself for two months. And frankly, all the NY and Westchester salons that I have been to in my life none have ever gotten my hair right!!!!!!! Maggie is as amazing as everyone says she is.
