This was an amazing experiencing for me!! I usually don't get my nails done but decided to pamper myself a little and opted for this location because it was close to a Starbucks. The girls who worked here are extremely nice and welcoming. They don't hesitate to make you feel like you're a valued customer, and they certainly go beyond treating you like one. They'll talk to you like their friends and are so sweet. I just wanted a simple manicure and came in a Friday morning. It was pretty empty and they immediately sat me down and went to work. This place can get easily busy so don't be like me and make an appointment! Hannah was the one who took care of me and suggested I get a pastel lilac color. There is only one person that knows how to do nail tips. There were three other workers in the shop so it was a bit of a disappointment. I had to just wait for the other ladies in my party to get their services done. It's ok though because I didn't need my nails done for a pending event. Just would have like the experience. Was in the area and needed a gel mani/pedi in a pinch. Called and got a 2:45 appt, and when arriving on time, the main tech asked me to pick a color. Once I did, while I was waiting for my old color to come off, she kept asking me if my original appt was at 3:30 and if I had moved it. Turned out, she told me she had a 3:30 appt for a fill, so one guy would my mani, and she would do my pedi after the full, several times after me needing to ask if she had time for me(despite getting an appt on the phone). The male tech had no clue what he was doing, told me the colors I picked for CND were bad in the winter, went looking for my color for 10min, didn't cut my cuticles fully, and made thick strokes that were uneven , and ignored my 5 requests to have the tips painted (to prevent peeling)!! I got up after my mani, paid, and left. Should've stuck to my regular place, Zen Nails in Hopkinton or dealt with no massaging pedi chairs at the Femiluxe down the street.What a nightmare!!! UK Nails & Spa did a fabulous job for my nails and my daughters nails. They did acrylic french white nails with a burgundy flower for my daughter for her Wedding and my nails were that same burgundy with a matching white flower design. They gave us special attention and pampering; just what my daughter wanted for her Wedding. They also did a great foot massage and pedicure for both of us. The polish is till on 2 weeks later. Hmm... Can't say I really enjoyed my experience at UK. My nails turned out fine but meh. They are about a year old and eager to provide great service which is a good thing. But for me, I felt they were a little over zealous. I want to feel relaxed when I get mani pedis but I felt obligated to chit chat, a lot.They couldn't do exactly what I wanted for design so I opted for something else they showed me which was fine. The girl told me that the color I picked was the same shade as the photo and when she put it on my toes, it wasn't. Not a huge deal, close enough but she knew it wasn't as sheer as I wanted and didn't mention it until after she had done my whole foot and I looked down. Rather than have her change it, I just kept it. Similar thing happened when she applied the color of the design. She didn't ask me until she was done and assumed but whatever. I could have paid more attention. They scrape your feet during pedis with a tool that looks like a grater, not just a brush or pumice stone so if you don't want it, tell them in advance before they just start doing it. I don't even have calluses on my feet so I don't know why she tried it. Hot stone is nice but I don't need to pay more for my pedicure vs the regular foot/leg massage just for that.I feel like I have to watch everything they do so I can tell them what not to do which is kind of a nuisance to me. I paid about the same amount I would have for a gel mani + pedi elsewhere when I just got a regular mani and pedi with a design, $5 extra. Don't think I'd try them again. Read Less

It is a fairly new and friendly nail salon. I walked in on a busy Friday afternoon and waited for 5 minutes. I really liked how the technicians work as a team instead of individually. I was greeted by the girl who was working with a customer near the entrance, another girl started the water for my pedicure, when I was also able to do my medicure at the same time. Just enjoyed the most relaxing massage - Lava Shells. The heat generated from these shells added, for me an extra dimension to a normal massage. This was a totally fabulous experience, my back, shoulders and neck feel ache and twinge free. I had 30+ minutes of not thinking or worrying about anything which is bliss in itself. I had been to a bunch of other nail salons before coming to this one and I will NEVER go anywhere else. I have a set of acrylic nails and the first salon I went to 1. The guy putting them on did not listen, when i said i had a cut on my finger that hurt and asked him to go easy there 2. He also cut me. I never went back and searched for another place. the second place I went to 1. He cut me as well, 2. my nails looked all different lengths and not even at all. After finding UK nails online, I was a walk in to their place. It is nice and stylish. Quyen, is such a sweetheart, asking how my day is, etc. I've never really talked to any of my nail techs because they seem to not want to bother, but i LOVE talking with her. She always makes sure i have everything i need and does such a great job on my nails. Even when they get busy, I never feel rushed like i did at the other salons. I was so excited to try this place as it's close to my house, and looks neat and clean inside. I went in with medium length nails to get a gel manicure (which I get about every 3 weeks). I was asked if I want my nails cut, and I said yes because they were a little a little long for my liking....in the past (at different places) the nail tech knows not to cut them so short that you can only see the pinks of your nails..no whites!!!!! They were cut uneven and SO short (see picture). Today the tips of my fingers are sore even typing this. One of the owners saw my nails and offered 5% (2$) off. UMMM someone chopped off my nails. LOVE it here! It's my first time and I don't normally get my nails or toes done unless it's for a special occasion. But I have been to quite a few salons trying to find the one that best fits my needs and let me just say UK nails is the place that's done it. This new salon, is very clean, very welcoming and amazingly caring and friendly. Everyonecame over and introduced themselves... couldn't do enough for me. My pedicure lasted 55 minutes and was one of the best I've ever exprienced. Hellen did the pedicure and she is amazing ( She is the only one of the staff that is not fluent in English but her co-workers arequick to come help translate). Jasmine one of the owners gave my my manicure, also excellent.  Hand and foot massages were so much more than routine. These girls know what they are doing and really care about pleasing the customer. Jasmine was just lovely to talk to as was Quyen her partner.  I can't imagine going anywhere else again.
