This is the WORST nails salon , the lady rushed my nails.. cut my finger with scissors while trying to trim the nail & then I repeatedly asked her to fix my nails because she had messed up & she laughed in my face with the other workers ! Worst Place Ever... So my usual salon was close for a week so i went to this place. As soon as I opened their door they started screaming no more customers today it was around 4 p.m. So i said okay I'll make an appointment she screamed what do want I said facial waxing she replied we dont do that here i said but sign says you do she said no. So i said okay I'll make an appointment for mani/pedi she screamed we are not taking appointments. I was like WTH? That lady didn't let me cross their door. I felt so insulted. I have been coming here for quite some time and as of late the service has been HORRIBLE. You’ve been warned. The prices are constantly changing and are going up steadily / without warning. When I pressed the lady about it she practically called me a liar. To support their lies, there is no price sheet or sign anywhere. Also, if you decide you want to still come here for some reason, do yourself a favor and stay away from the lady in station 1.Not only does she run through the job, she does a botched job. Nice comfortable place. Polite staff. I got a Gel manicure. The nail tech was skilled and took her time. I plan on returning for a pedicure next week. I was a walk in and they took me right in. The staff don’t seem to speak much English so it was quiet but they had nice music playing and two televisions on with closed caption. If you are chatty, bring a friend. Read Less

Do not go here. The manager is absolutely horrible at doing nails so just imagine the rest of the salon. All of my nails are a different shape. I asked for dip powder and she barely knew how to use it. It came out extremely messy and it isn’t even a solid color it’s faded in and out on every nail. She put a whole layer of acrylic over the dip powder which made it sloppy and chunky. I guess they don’t know dip powder IS acrylic. Worst service ever. They let us know right when we were checking out that they were no longer taking cards for the day. We had been waiting for an hour to get our nails done and they didn't mention it once. Also they rushed on my nails and didn't care to clean up the polish they got all over my skin. I have never had a worst nail experience in my life. I arrived and the woman told me to pick a color and wait. I had an appointment at 6 I wasn't seen until 6:30. The woman getting her nails done before me kept telling the woman you're hurting me, ouch, it's burning. The nail tech slapped her hands and said stop it. I thought she was just kidding. The nail tech got up and walked away the woman said she had a horrible experience so far and I just figured I'd give them the benefit of the doubt-how and could it be? I wish I listened. Finally I was seen. I sat down and the table was covered with a towel. The towel had someone else's disgusting and dirty nail clippings on it. I asked her to change the towel, she shook it out onto the floor . I was getting a fill and the machine she used was going to fast it was burning my fingers. I kept flinching and saying it hurt. She told me "stop being a baby you're just sensitive." I get my nails done religiously every two weeks I know what it should and shouldn't feel like. I also work in the industry. I gave her the color I chose would look horrible on me. I was like what?! She also cut me three times. But I have to say my favorite part was when she used a nail file to remove my cuticle. At the end when I checked out she tried to charge me an extra fee for having a tip. I told no because I came in with the tip on she didn't put it on. She told me she forgot she didn't put it on... really?! She told me my total I handed her my debit card and she said you don't have cash? I said no..? On 5/28 I had manicure, pedicure and eyebrows done, cost me $54 then I told her to take $6 for tip ran my car of total $60, the reason I tiped her she wasn't the one that did my eyebrows, the one that did my eyebrows burned me with the gel wax then yestetday 5/29 the nail polish started peeling off so today 5/30 I went back in she told me it's because I chose a cheap nail polish I should have picked thr gel nail polish which should lasted two weeks, then she said the lady that did my nails she's off today and that I should be back tomorrow. This place is horrible. I got gel nails done by one lady in the front (with the knock off Louis Vuitton face mask). Not only was she rushing to do my nails, but the next day... the gel began to peel off. They were not accommodating to me returning to get a "free of charge" gel set as well. No longer giving my money to this horrible place and you shouldn't either!!They only got one star because they recommended a cute blue polish for my nails. Read Less

I use to go to lotus because they by far do the best pedicures besides MT Nails in Holbrook. But the discrimination and lack of respect I encountered from the owner made me vow never to enter again. If you don't want to serve minorities (irony because they're Asian) then why don't you open a salon in Needham or something like that. Did not like it here. Only came here because i grabbed lunch next door with my cousin. I only been here once before for a wax, but don't remember if it was good or not. The technician pretty much decided for me what i was going to get done. I kinda had an idea about what i wanted, but was rushed. She told me to pick a color and ended up picking a color for me, which i was ok with cause i liked it. I say down and as soon as she started drilling to remove old polish, it hurt, which it should not have. She was rough and kept hurting me throughout the process. I was even suprised that one nail kept stinging bad evertime she applied polish. When she asked me what shape i wanted i said square. And for some odd reason she said that they don't do square anymore. Instead it was either oval which i don't like or some pointy house shape that i didn't like either. I ended up getting the latter. As soon as she put the red coat on, i started to actually like it. But then when i showed her a simple picture of nails with silver glitter added lightly to the tips, she added a completely different silver which was more solid and not chunky like the one i chose. When i mentioned this, she said she had to put the other one on first then the chunky one. My nails did not come out as i wanted. It doesn't look horrible but definetly not what i expected and almost made me leave to another salon after to do a color change. Will never go back. Mommy afternoon out for pedi and lip wax. Thursday afternoon so not too busy. Technician didn't seem too enthused to serve, no smile,  no hello,  nothing; but she did a thorough job. I'd actually come back for her work. I don't know what's up with the massage chairs, but I wasn't offered that.  My biggest gripe is that the wax lady wanted me to sit on the same dusty towel that everyone else was sitting on. Can I get a clean towel??? Also, she appeared to be upset that I asked her to break down my $20 bill into ones for tip purposes. No your services were not worthy of a $5 top. Read Less

Let me start off by saying I am not a person who comes on here and rates 100 places, I NEVER do this and the fact that I feel compelled to write this review really shows how bad my MANY experiences were here.. Yes, multiple. Yes I know but today was the last time I will ever return. I usually go to Four Seasons which is also in Stoughton (They have NEVER disappointment me and I have been going faithfully for the last 6 years) but since it was Sunday and I desperately needed a full set I decided to give Lotus another try. As nail salons always go, I walk in and tell the woman I want a full set and she tells me to pick a color and sit down- not a word about how long it would take but I didn't care because I felt fortunate to be getting my nails done on a Sunday. I waited about 30 min and then she called me over and started my full set.. I have never seen someone do my nails so fast. Not only did she cut me on several fingers but the quality of her work was disgraceful.. Even after I told her TWICE that she was going too fast and hurting me because of it. I have been getting full sets for 9 years and I have NEVER been so unhappy.. The last time I was here I had the old woman and she cut me so bad I was bleeding for hours, and then continued to file the hell out of my bleeding sore finger and then expect me to pay full price!!?? It's been the same every single time I come here and I will never go back no matter how bad I need my nails done. I do not remember her name but she sat at the very front station, and she seemed to be managing everything (talking to customers when they walk In, etc) BE WARNED. I've been coming here for 6 years now... But as times go by the services are unhealthy, unwelcoming, and just bad!   Let's just say the lady in the front... Rushes so much she hurts you in the process.  Her customer service skills is just as bad.  Everything I come here, someone different except for the nice lady in the back that doesn't do acrylic.  Pedicures I admit are great, but by the time you sit on that chair after getting your mani, or full set down... You're over it!!  I keep coming back thinking that I will get the service I got a few years ago, but no!  Today is my last day!!  Do not come here!!! I went here for a while on the recommendation of a friend. Poor choice unless you can go on a Tuesday Wednesday or Thursday between 10-12 in the am when they aren't busy. If they have the slightest line of people waiting (can be only 1 or 2 people) they rush and do a horrible job. If you can go on the "off" hours you may get the attention you deserve. If I could give this company 0/5 stars I would. I went in for an acrylic overlay and left before they even had a chance to paint-which in my opinion, would have made it even worse. I asked for a square tip with round corners and the woman made my fingertips rounder than a penny! I asked her, to please fix it  (rather politely considering) and she started talking about me in her language to her coworkers. After this. she attempted to fix it, but the shape only became more round, especially the middle finger. When I complained she told me that it was bc my natural nail was too short! Umm-what does that have to do with anything? Filing nails should be a basic skill in this trade, regardless of length. She then (probably bc she was sick of me inspecting) swapped places with a co-worker who sat down and immediately said "you pay now". This through me all the more! Not only did they suck at service but their customer service was even more distasteful and quite tacky.The acrylic was stuck to my skin, the nails were poorly shaped. I told them I was not going to pay full price for such shabby service and the woman stood up and started yelling at me. I still kept my composure, paid partial price and left. I don't know what all the negative reviews were about! I had a wonderful relaxing spa pedicure. My feet & legs were scrubbed, lotioned, oiled and massaged. The tech was very polite and very good,at her job. I felt pampered and relaxed. My toes look wonderful!! Next was my gel manicure.  Again great service!  Nails were trimmed,  cleaned, and polished. Finished off with a quick lotion hand massage. It felt wonderful!  The Patriots Game was on the large flat screen TV which was an unexpected bonus!  This is a very busy salon!! I was visiting family in MA and really needed a manicure... (Story of my life) so I had been to Lotus a few years before and I remember the gel mani being pretty good. My memory served me very wrong this time! The staff is friendly and they were very accommodating. They try to get you in as soon as possible if there is a wait. WAIT.... This isn't a restaurant and rushed service on your hands and feet is the absolute worst.They offer so many colors for gel manis which I appreciate. I picked a beautiful navy blue hue and proceeded to have my nails done. Once they were done they looked absolutely beautiful! I left a generous tip and went on my way... So why the two star review? My beautiful navy blue GEL mani chipped the next day! And I don't mean one nail chipped in the corner... THE ENTIRE BED OF COLOR CAME OFF! For someone who gets gel manis only this is absolutely unacceptable. They either use cheap product or water down their polish. There is no way it should be chipping the next day! I was too far away to go back and get it fixed I had to settle for going to another salon. Read Less

This is the WORST nail salon.  ABSOLUTELY ZERO customer service.  I have been there several times and the last was the final straw. I had gotten a gel manicure while out of town the day before and one nail chipped. I went to Lotus to ask them to fix the one broken nail and the head lady there said "no we don't have that color"  I said yes u do I get my nails done the same color here. I will pay you to fix this nail.  She said no we cant. Go back to where u got them done. I told her I didn t care if it didn't match perfectly.  Nope she walked away while I was still talking to her. 2.5 stars--I came here with a bridal party to have manis and pedis done on a Friday afternoon.  The employees are very polite and efficient, and they gave us plenty of time to decide what colors we wanted.  I didn't opt for the special pedi because I heard that there isn't really much a difference between the two.  The salon was very busy while we were there, and there was a lot of wait time in-between some of the girls' manis/pedis.  Between the five of us, we left the salon within 2 hours; however I do think that my mani was rushed through towards the end (as it got busier).  I'm not usually in the Stoughton area, but I'm sure this is a convenient place for nearby shoppers.  I've experienced better manis/pedis, but I did like the selection for both gel and regular colors. I love this place and will only come here if I'm in the South Shore. Mani/ pedi combo is $33 and includes a leg and foot massage!!! They use hot stones during the massage with an essential oil and you leave feeling as if you've had a full body massage!  Skip the spa pedicure,  it's not much different than the base pedi. Would give 5 stars if they accepted tips in all forms but instead they ask you to buy something and get cash back at the Dollar Tree store next door. .. whaaat?!? (Raises eyebrow).All in all though,  you'll have a great experience at this place and leave with beautiful nail (hehe) and pretty eyebrow. Read Less

I had a very bad experience at the Lotus Nails Spa today. This was my second visit to the salon. The lady was rough on my hands, rushed through the process, and then dropped me off to another lady to polish my nails so she could take another customer who came in after me without an appointment. Then the other lady got mad that I only gave her a $2.00 tip and told the first lady out loud (who just waved it off) and everyone else in the salon heard it. So when my nails were dry I got up, walked right out of there, and did not say a word. (usually I say goodbye and thank you) I have never been treated so poorly at a nail salon before and will never go back there again!!! Read Less
