Take it from someone who has been with this business for 10 years, since they were on Allen St; you won't be dissapointed. The stylists are very attentive and listen to your needs. They even double check before cutting and I've had 10 - 11 inches taken off at a time. I can't attest for the nail or makeup services as I've never had them. I received a letter for a free cut or color and figured I'd give this salon a try. I had heard the name and thought they had a good reputation.  I came in with shoulder length hair and left with a short, choppy hack job.  Rebekah the stylist was told from the start that I did NOT want short hair and that I didn't want so many layers that my fine  hair would look fly away.   The owner Maria tried to fix it and although it doesn't look quite as heinous it's still pretty bad. It'll probably take a year to look better.  The owner offered my free highlights to make up for it.  She also tried to make it seem like it was a communication issue. Do NOT go here!!!!!!!!I will make an appointment at Visual Changes in East Longmeadow to try to fix this HORRIBLE haircut.  I have never left a bad review like this before, but I am so upset that I just don't know what to do!!!!AVOID THIS PLACE, ESPECIALLY REBEKAH, LIKE THE PLAGUE.   It will be months of tears for me. I went in for a haircut of the layers of my long, wavy hair.    When I came out, I was in shock.  Maria, the owner, cut about 6 inches from the length and completely *butchered* my hair.    I thought going to the owner would equal experience and expertise, but I was mistaken.    She didn't listen to me at all.     I had to go to another hair salon to try and fix it and that stylist told me it was cut very unevenly.    She told me not to worry:   my hair will grow out--in SIX MONTHS!!!      NEVER will I return to this salon. Lee is the best!  She did a absolutely amazing job  on my cut & color. I had brown hair & wanted to go red ( which I've never done before) Lee took the time to listen to all my thoughts & concerns & with her expertise & knowledge she picked a perfect color.  Everywhere I go I have have people compliment my color & ask where I get my hair done.
