The young man who completed my pedicure and gel manicure was extremely pleasant. Good customer service goes a long way. I am usually jumpy when in a new spot...PTSD from too many nipped cuticles. But I DID NOT have to jump once. Relaxing like beauty services should be. The owner then walked me to my car because it was pouring after his elementary aged daughter offered her umbrella. This place is very, very overpriced, and especially for the quality of work you get. I've been here three times and that's only because I live in town - otherwise I would rather drive 50 minutes to a better place that is much cheaper, and actually takes you at the time of your appointment and does better work. I got a simple gel fill, my nails are sharp around the edges, filed unevenly and paint that's already chipping, ITS BEEN ONE DAY - I left in shock with what I owe, and considering they show you your price on a calculator versus saying it aloud, they obviously know their prices are high, which pisses me off even more. Always clean. Always nice and always does a great job!  The owner has a great sense of humor. They never pressure you to get things you don't want. I love getting both a mani and a pedi here. I don't need fake nails, so I don't know how their gel nails are, but they do such a great job on mine I'm sure they are good! Read Less

I've been getting gel done for years and since I'm out of college I wanted to find a place closer to my house. I've been to quite a few nails salons so I'm picky about not only how the nails turn out but customer service too. During my visit the guy doing my nails was nonstop on the phone trying to move around appointments (he was the owner I think?) and was totally distracted looking out the window the entire time while grunting the entire time of doing my nails. When he finished they looked ok, wasn't terrible, wasn't the best work I got done. However, my nails chipped the next day! I will not be returning to this place. Read Less

I've been to a variety of nail salons in the area (including sophies in westfield; AWFUL) and this is by far the best one! I usually get a gel nail fill and color and they do a nice job. Their service is good not only the first time you come, but the 3rd and 4th. They all speak English which helps everyone communicate effectively. The girls there are all very sweet and funny and the owner is a little comedian himself. Of course nothing can ever be 100% perfect especially when it comes to nails but this place comes pretty damn close to perfect! It feels so great to FINALLY find a reliable, high quality nail salon! I've had pedicures--lots of them--and this place was a total disappointment.  I'm pregnant, and pedicures are my treat. The woman who did mine completely bombed. Barely any scrubbing, rubbing or attention paid to my feet. Typically pedis last about 45 minutes and this was 25, max. When I approached the woman and another man (owner maybe?) about it being very subpar, they said some nonsense about me being pregnant and not being able to rub my feet. Then I shouldn't have to pay full price. But when I argued that, at time to pay, the man basically told me too bad (he could offer a discount for next time--which doesn't work because I won't go back and don't live here anyway). So I paid $27 for the worst pedicure I've ever had. Terrible customer service and it's also questionable whether the tools they use are new and/or sterilized. Save your $$ and go elsewhere. So happy to find a place in my hometown that knows how to do shellac correctly. Went last night after work and am really happy with how they came out. The woman who did my nails was really pleasant, took her time and didn't hack away at my cuticles like so many places do.
