Buyer beware. If you purchase a service to gift someone on a gift card and that service goes up the person will have to pay the difference. My husband bought me a blow dry and received a second service free when they opened up their blow dry location in 2016. I went to use the gift card in December 2017 - just under a year of purchase and they would not honour the original price of a blow dry. I asked the lady at the counter that day to look into this as I felt this should ...be honoured and she never got back to me. I went 3 weeks later to use the other "free service" and ended up paying the difference because the service went up In cost. I was on my way to a funeral and very upset - I told the story to the manager there - Dolly and she called me back a few days later - spoke to my daughter when I wasn't home but left no message. They refuse to honour the original service purchased and have terrible client service. I love the atmosphere of this location! I went there to have my eyebrows waxed for the first time by Jesse and it went amazing! Not only is the store clean and organized but Jesse was timely and very patient with me. She asked exactly what I wanted while suggesting her own recommendations. I am always there and love it! Carolyn is a gem of an esthetician and on the blowdry bar side, the stylists are simply down to earth and happy to see me! Breanna is the main bartender and always has a smile on and is very attentive. Allana is a very professional and kind spa manager. I unfortunately had a bad experience at this salon. I had booked manicures for my wedding and was told 8 women would get their nails done at once (taking 1 hr total) and I would get mine done after my flower girl (who's would only take 30 mins). This was NOT the case. They only had 5 estheticians for the 9 of us and I was done after the flower girl AND after an adult. This resulted in me being late for my rehearsal dinner even after having to turn down the hand massage portio...n that I still had to pay for. In addition, the manager is terrible and completely unprofessional. He made his way over to my esthetician as I was finally getting my nails done and raised his voice at her about money. She quietly and professionally told him that I was the bride and this was not the time, but he continued to have a fit about a promotion I had been given. A promotion might i add that is ADVERTISED on their website, yet you have to fight them and show "proof" of it to receive. All in all, the esthiticians there are lovely and I truly feel sorry for them that they have to work in such an unorganized and terrible establishment. They are all very talented and very sweet. Carte Blanche Blowdry bar is a beautiful salon. The monthly blowdry package is such a great value for me as getting my hair done is my work week treat. I see Ashley once (sometimes twice) a week. I'm so happy this salon opened ! Blowouts are my guility pleasure and to have found a beautiful, high quality salon like this in Orleans is a dream come true. They have a great package for blowout addicts like me: 80.00 for one month of unlimited blowouts, or just 35.00 each. You won't find that anywhere in Ottawa. Today was my first visit, thrilled with my experience. Roy/Ashley/Mini all handle hair flawlessly. I have thick, curly hair so I'm used to challenging hair stylists, but this wasn't the case here. this place was awesome! I got a gel manicure with cute designs on every finger and the work is superior to that of most other salons. The tech spent almost an hour and a half on the full manicure because I have very rough cuticles. She is very detail oriented and well worth the splurge. Read Less

I visited this place for the first time and I LOVE it. the same staff dose my nails every time and she is just a sweetie. She dose a great job, not to mention she is quick.
