I have been going here for 2 months. I loved the friendly and clean atmosphere. However today has totally changed my opinion. While getting a Mani my girl had tl leave me sitting there for about 10 minutes while she went to take a personal phone call. No big deal right??? Well she came back angry and was doing my cats eye color wrong. When I questioned her on it she got argumentative with me then started rapid firing Korean to the owner loudly.. The owner jumped in to fix the mistake and finish my nails. This would have been OK I guess but while finishing my nails the disgruntled employee kept going back and forth with the owner, loudly.. Very uncomfortable for me. If I was at work behaving like that in public my boss would have made me apologize and perhaps given me a time out to re-group.. Neither happened here. I told the owner I was very uncomfortable and that employee should just stop her ranting. They offered me no charge for the Mani. I paid and said not sure if I'll be back.

I have pedicures and gel manicures here regularly and have a positive experience every time! My gel manis last 2.5 to 3 weeks every single time which I appreciate as a busy mom. They have lots of pedi choices including with fresh fruits and cucumbers, every mani comes with paraffin, and everyone is pleasant. I tend to go on weekday or weekend mornings and I never have to wait more than a few minutes. I’ve heard it gets busier after work times so I’d call for an appointment if you’re coming then!

Last night I came into the salon about an hour before closing hoping to get a gel manicure and a pedicure if they had time. Jenny did my manicure and pedicure and let me tell you this girl is fantastic! She made sure I felt comfortable and relaxed the whole time and kept asking if the water was too hot or cold making sure it was perfect for me. My nails and toes came out fantastic! Definitely going to keep coming back!

Poorly done pedicure for a lot of money. I got the basic peppermint pedicure which was $35. The lotion and scrubs they used smelt AMAZING, but I am SO disappointed in the service. The girl i had barely scrubbed my feet, and did an awful job painting. My nails are all streaky and i still have hard callouses on my feet. I spent $35 +tip for a quick nail polish change I could have done better myself. Don't go to tropical nails in Reading.

My mother and I have been going here for almost a year. Holly is great. She's very sweet and professional. Tanya is also awesome. They have many colors to choose from. Their pedicures are relaxing and refreshing. I always get gel and each time it has been done very well. Would definitely recommend this place to friends.

Went here for a pedicure. The pedicure itself was okay but I was really turned off by the service. I asked for the regular pedicure and the lady setting up to do mine came over and brought me a whole menu offering many different spa pedicures. I was looking for just a simple and quick pedicure so I asked for the regular express ($30). The lady kept pushing me to do another more expensive spa pedi and I kept saying no. She then kept saying that the regular pedicure I wanted wasn't good at all. That I would pretty much only get my nails clipped and wouldn't even get lotion!! I ended up jut getting one of the spa pedicures but I hated that I was pretty much forced to do so. They shouldn't have a pedicure on the menu that they would consider "not good". Paid $35 for a spa pedicure (didn't even get hot stones) that was okay but honestly was nothing special.

I wish I could this place ZERO stars. It was the WORST mani/pedi I have ever had. Think about this in and out having both done in an hour. Would you say a rush job? YES! My nail tech spent no time at all with any nail care - no cuticle cleaning/cutting it was 1,2,3, and done. The polish job looks like a 5 year old did it, it's so bad. My feet are still rough she hardly used the buffer at all on my feet. When it was time for the mani she left me in the pedi chair and performed the mani. I am clearly pregnant so reaching across my belly was extremely uncomfortable. She couldn't position my hands in a way that would make it easy for her to cut, shape, or polish - hence why it looks like a 5 year old painted my nails. TERRIBLE! Go somewhere else.

I've been here before and had a great experience so for a special mother daughter date I decided to go again. I called ahead to see the wait, we were told to come in down. Great! Signed in, picked our colors and they took my daughter, who's not yet 10, right away. Awesome! They took me shortly after, they decided to sit next to each other, weird bwcauzse the place wasn't full, but whatever. After saying hello and cutting two nails I got bumped. Yes, you heard that right, bumped. Someone wanted a manicure and instead of apologizing to them about the lack of staff, or the mix up, they decided to end mine. They mumbled sorry several times and ushered me off the station for this other person. I was stunned. My daughter finished and we paid and won't be going back.

This is by far the cleanest nail salon I've ever been to. The girls are super nice and really accommodating. I highly recommend it. Holly is awesome, and so is TT. Holly is literally THE BEST, i showed her a picture of what i wanted and she did 100 times better. i never leave tropical nails unhappy. I can easily go three weeks before i need a fill. plus the paraffin wax is a super plus.

No moisturizer, no massage... nail polish was applied poorly, touching the skin around my nails. And was charged $25 (color change at other salons in the area go for $8 - $15).

I am from California, just got to Boston to visit my friend and crossed by this place for pedicure done. Very awesome! The nails salon background is environmental friendly filled-up lots of green plants. You can get happy feet done soaked in warmed nice water and listen to relaxing instrument music. The manager is very nice. All girls in staff are friendly. I will highly recommend for my friends come here. Of course, I will visit this place next time when I come back Boston.

This afternoon I was in the mood for a mani-pedi. I hadn't been here before so I thought I'd check it out. I called to make an appointment and the man who answered the phone said that they were available right away. I live up the street so I went right over.I got the Tropical Paradise Pedicure, which included cold orange slices, a scrub, hot stones, and hot paraffin wax. I got the deluxe pedicure. I selected peppermint for my scent. (The classic, deluxe, and heavenly dream aren't gel manicures, FYI, but that was fine with me. I usually get gel at my other nail places, but I was so excited to try something new that I didn't mind skipping the gel this time around)While my hands and toes were drying, she massaged my shoulders. Definitely a nice addition to the afternoon.I'm so glad I finally got a chance to check them out. It's such a quick ride from home. I think i've found my new spot!

Vina is amazing, the salon is spotless and they carry so many varieties of nail polish and colors, it's hard to commit to a color. The milk and honey pedicure is simply fantastic. They take their time, your not rushed in and out so they can keep their seats full all day. Check it out, your wont be disappointed!

Vina has been my go to nail girl for almost 2 years now!! She is amazing at what she does, my nails are always perfect :)Her new salon is BEAUTIFUL, everything is sanitary and super clean! Everyone that works there is extremely nice and attentive to detail. They have SO many gel colors and regular colors to choose from!!My boyfriend and I went in today for pedicures with Vina and Tim. My boyfriend got the green tea pedicure and I got the milk and honey! ALL of the pedicures are spa pedicures, which include hot stone! Oh and they have the most amazing pedicure massage chairs I would 100% recommend this salon to anyone!!

Signed in, picked our colors and they took my daughter, who's not yet 10, right away. Awesome! They took me shortly after, they decided to sit next to each other, weird bwcauzse the place wasn't full, but whatever. After saying hello and cutting two nails I got bumped. Yes, you heard that right, bumped. Someone wanted a manicure and instead of apologizing to them about the lack of staff, or the mix up, they decided to end mine. They mumbled sorry several times and ushered me off the station for this other person. I was stunned. My daughter finished and we paid and won't be going back.

This is by far the cleanest nail salon I've ever been to. The girls are super nice and really accommodating. I highly recommend it. Holly is awesome, and so is TT. Holly is literally THE BEST, i showed her a picture of what i wanted and she did 100 times better. i never leave tropical nails unhappy. I can easily go three weeks before i need a fill. plus the paraffin wax is a super plus.

I work at market basket and decided to check out this place since it was do convenient and only heard good things .. i had TiTi (tt) and she was so nice, and my nails look PHENOMENAL. so happy i have a new nail place, def recommend going here. Also, never seen a more cl ew an nail salon, so thats a big plus. And the owner holly was wicked nice and ive only heard great reviews on her nail job..

Seriously the best pedicure I've ever had in my life!!! The cleanest salon, professional technicians! The owner is amazing welcomes you and will make you hot tea!!!

Just had a manicure COLOR CHANGE ONLY (gel) and was very unhappy, she cut my nails way shorter than I had asked. Felt like she didn't care at all. No moisturizer, no massage... nail polish was applied poorly, touching the skin around my nails. And was charged $25 (color change at other salons in the area go for $8 - $15).

The manicure was good but wicked expensive. And I agree with the post regarding the silence, as there are huge TV screens everywhere but no TV playing, no music, very awkward.

Hands and feet never felt so good. Can't wait to go back. Found this great place next to market basket in Reading.💜

I am from California, just got to Boston to visit my friend and crossed by this place for pedicure done. Very awesome! The nails salon background is environmental friendly filled-up lots of green plants. You can get happy feet done soaked in warmed nice water and listen to relaxing instrument music. The manager is very nice. All girls in staff are friendly. I will highly recommend for my friends come here. Of course, I will visit this place next time when I come back Boston.

Usually don't have to wait if you're walking in without an appointment.Staff is generally friendly and eager to please. Results are good but service is not always consistent depending on which staff member you get. Some are more thorough than others.

This afternoon I was in the mood for a mani-pedi. I hadn't been here before so I thought I'd check it out. I called to make an appointment and the man who answered the phone said that they were available right away. I live up the street so I went right over.I got the Tropical Paradise Pedicure, which included cold orange slices, a scrub, hot stones, and hot paraffin wax. I got the deluxe pedicure. I selected peppermint for my scent. (The classic, deluxe, and heavenly dream aren't gel manicures, FYI, but that was fine with me. I usually get gel at my other nail places, but I was so excited to try something new that I didn't mind skipping the gel this time around)While my hands and toes were drying, she massaged my shoulders. Definitely a nice addition to the afternoon.I'm so glad I finally got a chance to check them out. It's such a quick ride from home. I think i've found my new spot!

If you haven't checked out Vina and Tropical Nails, you're missing out! If anyone has read my reviews, it know I'm serious about nail care. Vina is amazing, the salon is spotless and they carry so many varieties of nail polish and colors, it's hard to commit to a color. The milk and honey pedicure is simply fantastic. They take their time, your not rushed in and out so they can keep their seats full all day. Check it out, your wont be disappointed!

Vina has been my go to nail girl for almost 2 years now!! She is amazing at what she does, my nails are always perfect :)Her new salon is BEAUTIFUL, everything is sanitary and super clean! Everyone that works there is extremely nice and attentive to detail. They have SO many gel colors and regular colors to choose from!!My boyfriend and I went in today for pedicures with Vina and Tim. My boyfriend got the green tea pedicure and I got the milk and honey! ALL of the pedicures are spa pedicures, which include hot stone! Oh and they have the most amazing pedicure massage chairs I would 100% recommend this salon to anyone!!
