Very disappointed ! Was treated like it was my fault the holographic nails started chipping after one day...I was told it doesn't work well on real nails ! I got such attitude! I was snapped at !!! I went Yesterday! Usually I go to Jimmy but he had the day off.. I got a Mani n Pedi done n it was rushed! Some of my nail polish is coming off already! Not acceptable.. Sadly the nail place I usually attend is shut down n I don't know for how long.. I'm very picky on letting just any1 do my nails n feets but I guess not every1 can be Jimmy.. I use to go to Lucky's when they use to be up on North St.. That's why I know Jimmy so we'll!! Hoping the nail place I usually deal with opens back up soon.. the allendale shopping center lucky nails is pretty great for your nails ok your hands, as in manicures acrylic and so on however, my pedicure was rushed and not very well done. sometimes you are waiting an hour past your appt to get anything done. However the Lucky nails in lee is not very good. my friends and i got our nails done. We both got ANC and her fake nail was separated from her real nail. There was a gap...the nails fell off a few days later...and when i got mine done there the person doing my nails gave me a cut and covered it with superglue!!!!! Read Less

My cousin made an appointment a week in advance for the 2 of us for a mani/ pedi today, Wed, July 5, because we are attending a wedding this weekend out of town. We were immediately greeted by a male who had us taken care of right away, but I received the 'Non Friendly' manicurist, who was a young lady named 'Julie', which is what her white jacket said. She did not smile or speak to me at all accept to ask me if I wanted the color I choose for both my mani and pedi. She was constantly looking around at everything else going on in the salon instead of focusing on doing my appointment. The appointment felt rushed, the massage was not good on hands or feet...the warm towel not so warm and the experience with her was terrible for being a first time client who has recently moved to Pittsfield permanently. On the other hand, the Thai manicurist who took care of my cousin was Awesome, friendly, and talkative. I will give Lucky nails one more try, considering I'm a manager in the hospitality field, but would not recommend Julie at all. I was not even slightly impressed.  I called early in the day for a mani & pedi.  I got there a little early and tried to find the color I wanted with no luck.  I'm from Long Island & all the nail places by me have a tremendous color selection.  Ok... I had a pic of the color I wanted & figured I'd ask for assistance when I met the person doing my nails.  They were obviously pretty busy .  I was a little concerned because I had an appt following this one.  I waited about 15-20 minutes then the man who was going to do my nails came over.  I showed him the pic of the color & he was soo rude.  He couldn't be bothered.  I've never done this before but.... Me and my best friend went here to get our acrylic nails done. We had an awesome experience! My best friend saw Joe and she said he did a great job and did them exactly how they wanted them. My technician was also very great, although she did rush the process a little. There were only a little flaws about Lucky nails and the nail polish selection was one of them. Although they had a huge selection of nail polish, there weren't many neutral colors, which were the colors I wanted. I ended up selecting a darker color and they still turned out awesome. They Do Take Walk Ins But I Would Advise To Make An Appointment Because This Place Gets Pretty Busy! I Came In For A Pedicure, Jess Was Really Kind And Took Her Time To Do My Nails. I happened to walk in on a busy day and was treated with anger and rudeness from word one. "Help you?!?" he said shortly. "I'd like to get a pedicure?" I said. Angrily answered, shaking his head rapidly: "No. Nope. Maybe later. No." He looked pissed off and walked off fast. NO consideration for me whatsoever, treated me like a nuisance! I scheduled an appointment to come get my nails done- a full set of tips and acrylics. The interior is well decorated/visually appealing, clean, and comfortable. I had just planned on getting a normal set but Nicole, my nail technician, found gel polish that matched very closely with the OPI color I had selected. She was quick, precise (and continually checking in to make sure I was happy) and most importantly she was gentle. So many places I've been to are super rough with my hands and even make me bleed. No such worries here. Another thing is I have essential tremor that makes my hands shake. Nicole was very nice and didn't say anything mean or draw attention after I mentioned it to her. I was so disappointed in this place. I showed up an hour before closing just to get my nails painted. First off they don't have the a and c gel powder that I wanted. They also refused to do my nails. I had gone with one of my best friends for my birthday yesterday and hadn't had a pedicure in over 6 years and wanted to go back to have one. The pedicure was FABULOUS!!! I absolutely loved it and will go back for future pedicures!!! My manicure was not a favorite and it was not communicated until the manicure was done that the shelf of polish I was directed to and picked off of was not included in the regular manicure price. I wasn't told until the end and it would have impacted my choice. I was being very price conscious and put me in a bad spot. It's not like I could have said no after my nails were painted. Like I said pedicure was awesome and I will definitely return for another, but won't do a manicure. If I ever do decide I will be very clear of which shelf to pick my polish off of or I would go with a straight French. Read Less

My mother, aunt and I were here on vacation and decided to get pedicures. We found this place, saw the two good reviews on Yelp, and decided to check it out. We were impressed with the appearance - very clean, spacious, and the people working there were friendly and professional. So by all means, I think it is a decent place to go for a simple pedi.The reason I don't give it 5 stars? The care of my feet prior to applying the nail polish. We decided to go for the basic pedi. Even with the basic pedi, I have always had the manicurist do an awesome job scrubbing off the dry rough skin with the pumice stone. I turned down the intense scrub (they use that file that looks like a cheese grater - no thanks) which would have been $5 extra. And after I said no, he did about 3-4 swipes on my heel with the pumice stone and that was it. So now I have beautiful nails, but still have the dead skin build up on the side and tips of my toes. So again, even with the basic pedi, I have always had manicurists scrub that off (and let's face it, $26 for a basic should include a thorough pumice scrub).The massage part was ... OK. That is the other reason I marked them down a bit. It would be nice to also dig in a little to the bottoms of the feet. Maybe you get that with the higher priced pedi.Anyway - bottom line if you want a decent pedicure in a clean, professional setting, you can head that way. Read Less

I've been coming here for 7 years as a regular customer and will never go anywhere else! Everything is impeccably clean and all tools are sanitized after every customer. I like that they only use CND Shellac for their gel product. I've seen OPI and other lines used in other salons and the quality does not compare. For the person who wrote a negative review, this is why an appointment is necessary. Walk-ins can not always be made a priority when they have a busy day of scheduled appointments. I make my appointments at least a week in advance and am in the chair within a minute of walking in the door. I frequent nail salons because i truly enjoy a good pedicure/ manicure. I had been to Lucky before and brought a friend with me new to the experience, and was quite dissapointed. From being left by the technician to not receiving a top coat, one of us was also misled into getting a different package than asked for that coat another $20. I even asked if what was happening cost more and was told no. I am so dissapointed. If you go here, triple check everything and be sure to ask questions and be specific.
