Was in a super super rush on a Friday evening and none of the places I usually go to were able to take me right then and there. I looked up nail places near me and this came up. I called and they said they'd take me if I got there in 5 minutes. I did just that and got one of the quickest gel manicures of my life! Lan saved my life! She did my whole manicure in like 35 mins. I was very pleased with the results. I do think $30 is a lot for a gel manicure, specially in this area.. but I can't even blame them for having them at this price considering it seems like it's what's becoming the norm. Been here twice and both times have been positive experiences. Great pedis-complete with scrub and hot stones. I can't speak to the gel nails cause mine are natural but even that mani included paraffin wax, leaving your skin soft and smooth. I had my brows done and they were picture perfect. Reasonable prices and packages. It can y nd to get very active but the staff gets everyone in and out in a timely manner. Nice touches with the mani scented lotion hand massage. As well as the heel conditioner when your pedi is dry. Also they have a nice rewards card where ten visits get you a free mani. I'm definitely making this my new spot. Moved back to NorthShore and was so disappointed, you were gone. I wasted time and money looking for another nail salon. Then I Just happen to see your store front sign driving home one day. I'm absolutely in love with my nails! First time there, so I called early and booked an appointment. I got my usual a full set, almond nails, with gel. Em was fantastic!! Kept asking me how I liked them, if they looked good, since it was her first time doing my nails she wanted to make sure they looked good! My index finger on my right hand is slightly crooked, this is the first time my nail has actually been straight with my finger, and not my other nails! I love my nails! I will definitely be back! Theyre the best, you get a foot massage and hot stone massages. They even exfoliate your legs and do a hot towel on them. For a mani they use this liquid thing on your hands  that I havent anywhere else before. It dries up and mold and they just peel it it off. Love it here won't go anywhere else! Read Less

My nails came out beautiful thanks to Jenny! I would suggest making an appointment every time, I booked for 6PM for a gel mani and regular pedicure and the place was packed with plenty of walkins after me. Jenny did not make me feel rushed at all even though there were people waiting to be serviced. The place is small so it does feel a bit cramped. There is no nail salon that compares, in Boston or Massachusetts truly. I've had pedis and manis all over and this place does not fail ever. Hot stones on your legs, parrafin wax for your hands and a wonderful staff to help the relaxation process. I have been coming here for 2 years and have had consistently wonderful, affordable visits. It is safe to say that my first visit here will be my last. I went in for a mani/pedi for a wedding I was going to be in and they destroyed my nails. I had a male technician who literally hacked my feet and hands. Every single nail bed was bleeding. I asked him to stop and he kept going, picking at my nails until they were bleeding. He told me it was because my skin was dry, but that is not the case. This has never happened to me before. During the manicure they dip your hands in wax, which can be a nice touch, except that my hands were bleeding and put in the same bin of wax that everyone else's hands go into. The nails on my hands and feet were sore for at least a week after and I had dried blood and redness around my nails for the wedding. A miserable experience. Read Less

I just moved to the area and needed to find a nail/waxing place close by, and it looks like this is it! I needed an eyebrow wax and gel polish removal, and both were clean, quick, and easy. I'm very pleased with my eyebrows- they still look full while having a better shape now (she didn't go wax-crazy and remove too much hair.) I was given a free cold water bottle while I was waiting (big plus!) and I was able to use my student ID for 10% off. They also have a punch card- after 10 visits, you'll get a free manicure! Came here for a last minute gel mani when another JP establishment wasn't open when they said they would be. Lisa did a really fantastic job with my manicure. She was meticulous, going back to trim with the cuticle clippers if she noticed she missed something, and the results are perfect. I'm really happy I walked a little farther to find this place. Lisa gives an A+ manicure. I'll definitely be back. I didn't have time for the paraffin treatment, but it's nice to know it's offered. I also appreciated the bottled water. The interior of the shop was clean as far as I could tell, but cluttered and a little worn looking. The tools were sterilized, and that's what matters most to me. Read Less

Sadly, I have to give this place a 1 star rating. I have gone here several times and up until recently I liked it. There were small annoying things that were happening here and there. And I have to say, my most recent experience was the straw that broke the camel's back.I was getting a gel manicure and the woman who was doing my nails was using an electric filer. She cut my hand FOUR times and drew boos. FOUR. The worst part is that she just kept on doing it. She didn't pause or apologize or even stop to blot the blood (gross). I am on antibiotics for a severe infection that formed in one of those four cuts she gave me. This is frustrating enough but having to take time off of work to see the doctor, pay the copay, and pay for the antibiotics is a pain. This manicure has suddenly gone from what is supposed to be a fun and inexpensive experience to a very stressful, annoying, and expensive one. In addition the the health issue, the woman did not use a base coat and she did a horrendous job painting my nails so they came out lumpy and uneven. Some other things that are annoying about this place:1- It's constantly so busy that it's not relaxing at all. The people who work there are just constantly yelling across the salon to talk to each other.2- When you make an appointment, you still end up sitting there for 30+ minutes waiting to be seen for your services. Some pros:1- They give you a bottle of water.2- The do paraffin treatments on manis and hot rocks on pedis at no additional charge. But be careful with the hot rocks. When I had a sunburn and they burned me once, they didn't seem to care and I had to yell at them not to use them after I had already told them that I didn't want hot rocks this time.3- They give you a free 10th manicure (regular, not gel) free if you can remember to get your card stamped every time.I will not be going back.
