I've only been visiting this salon for a short time and was very happy the first 4 times I went for gel manicures, I even stopped going to my regular salon which is 5 minutes down the road from my house and began driving 25 minutes away to Princess Nails bi-weekly. Unfortunately I had a very poor experience this past Monday when I went for a pedicure and gel manicure. My mother and I had made an appointment for 12 o'clock and arrived on time. The pedicure came first and was g...reat, but there were more customers than employees which caused an awkward feeling and by the time it came to get our manicures I could tell my nail tech felt rushed due to the overbooking and accepting walk-ins. I had never seen this nail tech at any of my prior appointments over the past few months, she told me "you have thin nails" - which is absolutely unnecessary and rude. It would be like a hair stylist pointing out gray hair. I replied politely that I am aware and I know they're difficult to work with, they constantly break/tear which is why I have a few that have the acrylic powder applied to them avoid them breaking off. As she continued my manicure, she was shaking her head and rolling her eyes at my "thin nails". She applied glue to a couple of my nails that were beginning to tear, but then she cracked another nail and did not glue it to secure it. That nail broke off completely today, less than 3 full days after the manicure. She rushed the entire polish application and painted over my cuticles, causing the paint to begin peeling within the first 24 hours. Bottom line is, I paid $53 for a mani/pedi and gave a $12 tip to a woman who was extremely impolite (because I felt bad, as though it was my fault and choice to have thin and seemingly annoying nails), and I now will have to go to another salon to get another manicure just 3 days later. I would have suggested this salon to anyone if they had asked me just last week, but now I would tell them to go elsewhere. Said full set was $25 when I was done they charged $35 I never asked for gel coat..also my cuticles weren't pushed back and the lines painted on my nails were done horribly that 2 people seen and noticed. Read Less

I have been here a few times. Tonight I went in for a pedicure. I had to wait about 30 minutes because I did not have an appointment. They take a great deal of time with their pedicures. They have these great chairs that give you a massage while you are soaking your feet. Friendly staff with a strong attention to detail. The cost was $28 and I felt it was worth it. Read Less

I went to Princess nails Oxford,Ma Monday morning for a gel fill. I had asked for the owner Van, because i had been here before and had bad experiences, but i decided to give them another try! Well I was wrong! Before I was even out of the chair my white tips where chipping! i said something to here and she said " It's only one" !!!!!! I am paying for this I do not care if it is only one! Obviously if one nail is chipping the rest would fallow, and they where all bubbled and lop sided !!! I said nothing! Paid, and tipped (a little less than i would have because I was unhappy.) I then received a voice mail from her saying to come back during the week and she would fix them!!! So she new that i was not satisfied, but charged me and let me leave! I went back the next day to have them fixed, they looked okay for about three hours. Then the white tips peeled off on four nails!!! I then called the next morning saying I would like some sort of  refund, I did not have time to come every day to have them "fixed"!!! She then argued saying she filled them ect. I said I would like some sort of refund seeing as though i will have to go somewhere else and pay the full amount for the same thing! She said okay,mumbled something and hung up! I stopped in, she did not say a word, just ignored me! The other employee said something to her in another language and handed me a 5$ bill!!!!! That was what i tipped!!! I have had my nails done here about 10 times over the past year. Some of the employees are cleary unexperienced. I had a full set put on for the first time in my life and went back 2 weeks later for a fill and the woman looked at my nails and asked where I had gone to get them in the first place!
