I came because I had a gift certificate for a gel manicure and decided to get a regular pedicure also. Another review said it very well, this place is probably the nicest in the area as far as atmosphere but you can get an equivalent or better service elsewhere for less. The pedicure was very rushed and cost $35 - the same price as the gel manicure! The pedicure only took about 15 minutes and for the cost I would expect longer, I could have gone to a proper spa! My gel manicure was very well done and I am really pleased with it. Overall the cost is way too high for the area and service. I can get a cheaper, better, and longer pedicure in downtown Boston! I am very disappointed. I made an appointment for a manicure and pedicure. When I arrived, I purchased a new bottle of nail polish to use on my toes and finger nails. The pedicure was relaxing and well done. However, the my manicure was all wrong. I asked the technician to cut my nails very short. She had no idea what I was asking of her (language barrier) and just continued to work as normal. I had to ask her THREE times to cut down my nails before I picked up the nail file and started to file them myself. When she put on the polish (a light pink color) it was streaky and uneven. By that night, it was already peeling and chipped, even with a new bottle of polish. I called the next day, but the salon is closed on Mondays. I left a voicemail and the salon called me back on Tuesday, saying that the manager was going to come in later that day and they would call me later in the afternoon. I did not receive a call. I had to call back Wednesday morning in which I was told I would not receive a refund for my manicure because I had no way of proving my nails were chipped and peeling. I don't live in the area and was unable to return to the salon. So basically, the salon is accusing me of being a liar. In any case, I do not recommend this salon and I am very disappointment with the management, Michelle. Read Less

Great service but $25 for an acrylic fill and 35 for a standard pedicure is over the top. My Nail Tech also attempted to add on another 5 to my fill for something she put on my nails and never told me until the end. Very welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. They greet you with a complimentary beverage which is a plus. A lot of pedicure and manicure stations along with plenty of drying areas. I only wish they included more with their pedicures and manicures like a mask, peel and more exfoliation esp for foot callus. Will definitely be back though! Read Less

She did not use gel polish, and after I reminded her I wanted gel, she told me I didn't need it because I had healthy nails. On top of everything, they tried to charge me for the gel polish! Really a great gel manicure. I've lived in NYC and Vegas and this is probably one of the best I've had. I didn't like the fact they make you get manicure, you can't just do gel polish change. He said "because gel will peel off if cuticle not cleaned." That's incorrect, I had a routine of every other two weeks getting manicure and never had any issues. But whatever, for $35 and it was perfect, really can't beat the price. My girl was on her phone most of the time which I find rude, but she did her nail job well.... So who cares! Went to this place because it had great yelp reviews and my favorite manicurist wasn't working at my regular place.  When we walked in I was very impressed. This place was spotless and we were greeted by a very friendly man who offered us cold bottled water. Me and my daughter were here for pedicures which I get every 2-3 weeks without fail. I had a broken toe nail that I needed fixed as well, yes they do that! We picked out our colors and sat down on one of those meticulously clean spa pedicure seats, right away I knew this was going to be an amazing experience; did I mention how clean this place was!! The pedicure was just ok no extra special treatment no extra attention to problem spots it was just ok, which was surprising since I've been to places that you'd think twice about sticking your feet in the tub and they've been better! For $90 bucks for 2 pedicures including tip you would just think the actual pedicure would be better but the joint is clean and they offer you cold water and the massage chair works better than most places. Went to get gel nails.  The woman who did my nails said she messed up - something to do with the design I got so the polish was dimpled on most of my nails. I looked at my nails and agreed...  She told me to come back and she would fix for free. I talked to the owner and he said fine just call and all set.  I have a busy schedule so unfortunately I couldn't get back to the salon until a week or so later. So I call, explained the situation. Didn't even expect to get them fixed for free since I couldn't get there before - just asked for a discount on this appointment.  The woman I talked to argued with me and said I waited too long and it isn't right.  She said everyone says they want to fix then they wait too long...  Huh? I asked for a discount.  If she would have given me $5 I would have been okay.  I tip more than $5... I  told her I am not arguing with her and I just won't come back.  There are too many salons out there to deal with that. As my friend would say - Nobody has time for that....I had a good experience before this.  They do a decent job but this was my first time having an issue.   I need to feel good vibes going into a place and that needs to be consistent, not just when I am spending money and smiling.. The staff are all very friendly and professional. The place is very clean. The prices are reasonable and I must say that my regular mani/pedi is lasting longer than ever. I will definitely come back. I was impressed with this place when I went there, as the atmosphere is really nice and Lena did a great job with my gel manicure. However, after only 6 days the gel is coming up and chipping. Went to this place for 2+ years every other week to same tech (20%+ tip each time) for nails and occasional pedicure. Their policy is they will fix a "problem" if there is one. Went and needed a fix before I went on vacation (preventative measure). The technician had a hissy fit even though I had an appointment for the fix and arrived early so as to not make him wait etc... (I had to wait for him). I am assuming his fit of anger was because he couldn't leave as early as he wanted too (an hour before the store closes), and I dared say that I needed a repair. He didn't listen to what I needed done and why. Caused a public scene and humiliated me in front of all the clients in the store, saying he never wanted to do my nails again (when I tried to explain why I needed more than just glue, and it to be done right). Manager apologized to me, called the owner who made him fix it the correct way. I never received an apology from the tech for his horrible humiliating behavior. I don't think I will be returning due to the embarrassment, as apparently this kind of behavior is allowed and nothing was done to the tech to inform him that what he did was wrong and a detriment to their business (others in the store were shocked and horrified to be witness to the scene). HORRIBLE customer service skills by the tech, no matter how many times the manager apologized. This was also one of their better technicians. Read Less

My technician was Linda, who barely spoke to me, despite my attempts to engage her in conversation. She spoke and understood English just fine, so she just wasn't friendly. The man who checked me in and gave me a Coke was the only friendly person. Linda did a HORRIBLE job! She rushed through the job, used a technique that I have never seen before and the end result was my nails being uneven and lumpy looking. I couldn't really notice in the salon because the lighting is so dim in there and it was early evening when she finished. When I got home and saw them in real lighting I was very disappointed. I love this place!  All the girls are so nice!  And when you get a pedi, there are divides with windows in between the  between the chairs so that you can still chat with your girlfriend in the chair over, or feel the tranquility of privacy too - like you are in your own little oasis!  The nail polish selection is wonderful and it's clean and the decor very modern!  It feels Zen without even trying!  Not only do they give great service, they didn't neglect on a relaxing ambiance!  The best part is now I live up the street from here!  Easy parking too!  It's the best place in Norwood for sure, if not the neighboring towns as well!  A place that makes you feel pretty and is pretty inside too!  Just delightful!It's advisable to make an appointment. This nail salon is fantastic. They have been around for about 8 years and have won numerous awards. The salon has a relaxing atmosphere with its earth tone colors and soothing music. The technicians are very skilled. They can draw the most beautiful design on even a child's small finger. It is also very clean and sanitary. Nails & Co. utilizes state of the art UV lamps and barbacide to eliminate bacteria.
