They are rushing to get to the next client without taking proper care of the current client in the massage chair.  You can not use the massage chair very long because they have more than one person working on you when you request a manicure and pedicure.  The vibrations of the massaging chair is shut off so polish can be applied to the hands while a second person works on your feet.  Even if you request for the two services be performed seperately they act like they do not understand English and perform both services at once anyway.  My nails were filed so short they are now very sensitive.  The cuticle push back drew blood.  Never again! The first time I came here I got the owner for my manicure and he cut my fingers up a bit and didn't do what I asked for the shape but since my mom loves this place I decided to go again with her and got holly the second time. 5 stars for holly! I waited 3 weeks since my pedicure to write this review to see how the polish would last, and it has seriously held up. First let me say, this is not the most up to date, cooly-decked out nail salon, but it is clean, which is the most important thing. They give you a bottle of water when you come in, and use a plastic liner in the pedi tub to help keep things clean. And the pedicure was very relaxing. The massage was extensive and they use hot stones even during the basic pedicure. The price is right on point for the service, in the $20-30 range. I have since gone on a 5-day hiking trip and worn both sandals and closed-toe shoes and this polish looks as good as new. I will definitely be going back. Read Less

This is a terrible place for eyelash extensions. Let me share my experience. This guy who has no training on eye lash extensions took over this salon from a friend and learned it. He made me lay down and while putting on the eye lashes he was continuously blowing on my face without asking any permission...its gross to feel his breadth on my face..next he uses some kind of solution which is stinging my eye like a hell...by the time he put on all the lashes my right eye is red and smaller which was terrible as I have a wedding to attend...I thought it will clear out next day but NO...and the lashes has all the glue visible on them all over...it looks nasty..I had to go back and had him remove...he said well it takes 90 minutes as I have to soak and resoak the lashes every few minutes...I said fine...oh my GODDDDDDDD!!!! the solution he used to soak my lashes stinging so bad...and eye was in excruciating pain...and instaed of getting worried he says this soluyion is FDA approved...and he said I put it in my eyes nothing happens....idiot every eye is different..its not one fit for all.....anyways after few soakings and the pain I was going through I asked to stop and I leave...and then he said oh its coming off ..its loose...and HE RIPPED OFF MY NATURAL LASHES ALONG WITH THE FAKE ONESs..ArGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH....I was so miserable with pain and to attend the wedding I was in complete horror.... I took an appt. with anather salon Bananas in norwood...who does it so professionally he saved my day. 7 days a week you can find Kevin and the ladies taking care of you as if you were coming to their home.  Always jovial and cheerful you can tell the staff loves to work here and it helps to encourage you to keep coming back for all your mani and pedi needs. If I'm in a rush they will take care of the manicure at the pedicure station at the same time. Should have read the other reviews before I came in! My pedicure with callus removal became a big todo and 3 people had to make a scene and investigate my feet before anyone could decide whether or not I was a good candidate for this type of pedicure which was extremely embarrassing! Also theWorld Cup soccer game was on and the owner was being loud and cheering which took away from what was supposed to be a relaxing experience! The service at this salon can't be beat. They greet you with a bottle of water, and the owner is incredibly friendly. The staff is meticulous and careful; I never feel like they are rushing. They are open Sundays, which is not true of all salons in the area. When I came here last Sunday, even though they close at 5pm, they stayed until 5:30pm to finish my pedicure. This is by far the best nail salon in norwood. They greet you at the door with a cold bottle of water and a friendly greeting. Of course you pick your color from a whole wall of colors.  Then go back to pedi chairs. Every thing is impecibly clean. They use gloves and they use freshly sterilized instruments. They are very nice and friendly. They give a hot stone massage to die for!  They take their time and actually guarantee it will be a minimum 25 minutes for a basic pedi. This Nail salon absolutely horrible!!!! I went in to get my eyebrows waxed since my usual salon (European Wax Center) was booked. When I walked in the place smelled like smoke/terrible incense. The bed in the waxing room was covered in white towels that looked dirty. The women did not wash her hands before starting my treatment. I get my eyebrows waxed all the time, but have NEVER felt pain like I did here nor have I ever had any post waxing reaction. When I left I noticed that the skin under my brow was extremely red. Two days later, I have a long red strip on both eyes under the brow from the waxing. I went back to speak with the manager about it and he was extremely rude and blamed me for not remembering the lady's name who waxed my eyebrows. Only until I told him the lady's name would be give me my money back. It's not about the money. It's the principle of the matter. I have two long strips under both brows that are scabbing over and received no cooperation from the manager. Walked out and will never return.Read Less

Terrible service.. Workers are extremely rude! I got the gel put on my nails which is supposed to last 2 weeks without chipping if done the right way! The girl completely screwed my nails up I had to go back three times to have them fix them and on top of that they blamed ME for the gel falling off.. Don't ever go here I never will again! Do NOT go here!!! I've been getting my nails done for the last 10 years and have never had any issues until I came here. They gave me a nail fungus and when I went in to talk to them about it they did nothing and all of a sudden couldn't speak English!!! I'm notifying the board of health!!!!
