They are always so friendly! I especially love it here because they are reeeeeally good at getting the cracked and dry skin off my feet leaving them feeling so smooth. So many other places just don't, so this is the only place I'll get a pedicure. Plus one time I was pregnant and felt wicked dizzy during a manicure and they were so sweet and kept letting me lay down on the couch! She eventually brought the stuff over to the couch and did my nails as I laid down. I was mortified haha but she was just the sweetest and understood! Best place for mani pedi around, hands down! Been coming here a while and bring my friends too. But recently since there has been a new girl there I've had nothing but bad service. She is very rude, screwing her face up at me when I tell her what i want, just because she has issues understanding English. She has cut me numerous times with the drill, I came in yesterday (purely because my usual place couldn't fit me in) and she want on the phone to her friend paying no attention to me at all. Took my boyfriends sister here to have her nails done as a birthday present. I also go here myself. The staff are super friendly, I am very pleased every time I come out of here. My first trip to have gel nails was excellent was finished off with a hand massage, the nail varnish only stayed on a week but I didn't mind. 2nd trip she took the remaining nail varnish off and re did the gel was charged £17, no massage this time. 3rd visit, I had to wait 1/2hour after my appointment time then she charged me for removing the nail varnish before she re did them so was charged £20 for a crap job. I have been to all the nails salons in Lincoln and this is the best one I have been to. I took my mum and she had the most amazing pedicure and manicure and I had my nails done. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and did an amazing job, I'm in love with my nails. Came here for a pedi. I had a woman who barely said hello to me. She stabbed me in the toenail with a tool and didn't apologize. She was extremely rough with my feet and seemed like she didn't know how to use the cuticle clippers, holding them like she never had in her life. My feet are also extremely ticklish, and when I moved my foot when she was scrubbing the bottom of it, she had a disgusted look on her face and said nothing. She seemed very high-and-mighty all around. In my opinion, everything she did was half-a**ed, not much effort at all. The only thing she was consistent on was being too rough with whatever tool was in her hand, and the massage was pointless. She just sat there and rubbed my legs lightly and kept putting lotion on them. She kept pausing what she was doing throughout and talked to her coworkers in their language before continuing the awful pedicure. She also made me wait while she sat in front of me with her legs spread open, and tried to get something that spilt on her pants. This went on for a good 5 minutes before she painted. Then she painted my nails so quickly, she didn't even paint the entire nail. It literally took her 2 minutes to do 3 coats of paint. She wasn't even going to give me the plastic things to put in between my toes, at first she just gave me  a tiny piece of tissue in between one toe on BOTH feet then asked me to hold my toes out, so they wouldn't smudge. When I told her if she doesn't give me more tissue they WILL smudge. She then gave me the plastic feet things after I said something.  In general she seemed like she didn't want to be there. I just tried this place for the first time yesterday. I had gotten a full set of white tip acrylics at a different place last week, but that place was completely booked when I decided I wanted a gel top coat and design for an upcoming event this weekend, hence why I went here. It's nice that they allow walk ins and were able to seat me quickly. However, instead of a nice relaxing experience as getting your nails done should be, I was scolded the entire time by the woman. First because I didn't specify that I wanted them square with "rounded corners". I didn't realize some people thought square meant dagger sharp corners lol. She literally told me "You need to say rounded corners!" about 4 times throughout my visit and even when I was paying and walking out the door I hear, "MAKE SURE YOU TELL NEXT TIME!" It was hilarious. Then earlier when I showed her a picture of the kind of flower I wanted she scolded me once again by telling me she doesn't have the right tool to do that, like I should have known that lol. It was quite commical, I didn't take it too personally and had a good laugh about the whole experience to myself. It was very odd being lectured by the nail tech the whole visit haha!The best part is the gel they used started peeling off about 3 hours later. I do not like how the place feels like an assembly  line - but they do the best job around when it comes to pedicures. No one sloughs feet like they do - when I leave my feet feel brand new. I go barefoot 24/7 so my feet are rough! The hot stones and massage are well done for sure.  I am not sure how they sterilize - I wish it were more obvious, but have not really had a problem with worrying about sanitizing. They need more OPI gel colors - just as the other places I have tried do. I do not understand why more places do not invest in tons of OPI gel colors - that is what we want! I trust this brand. I really just wish the places around MA were more welcoming. When you get a mani/pedi in the midwest they make you feel special, not like a number. I guess I will keep going back for pedicures because no one does a better job for the price. There is a place in Derby Street I have heard great things about -but it is quite pricey. I see they have callous removal as an extra fee on their menu - not sure what that service entails - but Pro Nails includes this in their regular pedicures  - in my opinion. Read Less

I went a few weeks ago and got a gel manicure and a pedicure. A man (who seemed like the owner) did my manicure. He reeked like cigarettes which was disgusting to smell being so close during the manicure. The gel stayed on my nails less than a week. I was very happy with the pedicure and the woman who did that. Aaaacccckkk! Now that I have been spoiled by Mini Lux, I realize how nasty this place is. I took my step daughter here for a mani-pedi girl time, and I immediately regretted it. It was a hot day, and they had the doors open, so flies were buzzing around everywhere. We started with our pedi's and I remembered how uncomfortable the "massage" chairs were. the only reason i give the salon 4 stars is because i think the employees could be a little more friendly. i am a hairdresser and always greet my clients with a smile and tell them my name. here they kinda just ask what you want and dont really seem all that happy for your business. HOWEVER, i can look past this cuz man do they do an amazing job on my nails. im sort of new to the nail game but as i said im a hairdresser and my natural nails are usually kept really short due to their staining from color( i hate that my nails always look dirty and my nail polish is always chipping off, with acrylics this doesnt happen) my first set was done somewhere else but when i needed a new set put on the other salon i was going to told me they didnt have anyone on that did then that day. so i went up the street to pro nails and gave it a shot. i saw a man, i would tell you his name but i dont know it. he didnt introduce himself. i explained to him how i wanted my nails pointy.(the last salon i had to show pictures and they still didnt make them the way i wanted, i had to file them myself to be pointier) He nailed it first time! they were beautiful. the best part is theyr not those thick fake looking acrylics theyre beautiful. people always ask if theyre my real nails. im more than happy to send my clients here and i have since gone back and got a fill. with a woman who works there. she did a great job too. I've had a couple mani/pedis here, and it's OK. Lots of colors, hot stone massage, big space, non-chatty staff with the customers. It has high ceilings, lots of natural light, and it's not too fume-y. If you even think about going on a nice weekend day, go early in the morning. Later in the day, even if you make an appointment, you'll be kept waiting.The last time I was in here--granted, my nails are a mess--but my cuticles were cut down enough that I bled, several times. I went late in the day, and most of the good colors had yet to be put away since they were so busy. The last straw for me was the yummy noodle thing that someone heated up and was eating in the break room smelled so, so good and filled the entire salon. Read Less

Love this place!  I've had pedis/manis/acrylics/eyebrows done here and I've never had a complaint!  I highly recommend Andy or his brother Kevin for acrylics, they do a great job!  Sandy is great at pedi/mani's!  The location is clean and the prices are great!  They give a 10% discount to students as well.  I almost hate to write a good review because I'd like to keep it to myself :-) Read Less
