I stopped into Euphoria this past Saturday for a mani/pedi. I had been there before and wasn't blown away by the end result, but I marked it up to a bad experience and thought that I would try them again-- you can't beat the $30 mani/pedi deal, and I was right in the area. Previous posters are correct-- the ambiance is relaxing, and very different from the majority of the other nails salons that I've visited. The salon was relatively empty for a Saturday, but that could be marked up to it being a cold, rainy day. I was seated quickly in the pedicure chair and, despite the girls next to me narrating entire text conversations between each other, enjoyed a relaxing (and well-done) pedicure. The same woman who did my pedicure also did my manicure, and seemed incredibly irritated once we sat down at the manicure station. I had a small cut on one of my right hand fingers and made sure to point it out and asked if she could please be careful, since it was incredibly sore. She sort of acknowledged me and started with letting my left hand soak and filing my right hand, and then began cleaning up my cuticles on the left. I noticed that she hadn't filed my left hand and when she told me to go and wash my hands, I pointed that out. She sighed noisily and grabbed my left hand and filed the nails very haphazardly and sent me to the sink. I was getting pretty annoyed by this point but figured I'd come this far that I'd just deal with it. When I sat back down, she looked over each nail and came across the cut that I had pointed out... and started pushing on the entire surrounding area. I pulled my hand back instinctively and told her that I was sorry, but that that really hurt, and she rolled her eyes and started pushing on it AGAIN with a cotton square while dropping some kind of solution on it. Now, no offense, but I'm at a nail salon, not a doctor's office. I was totally aware of the cut when I went in and was fine with having a mani with it (it's not like it was open, just sensitive). If you feel like you need to doctor-up something on my body, kindly ask me first. At this point, she had struck up a conversation with the woman getting her nails done next to me (not a single word to me personally), and started painting my nails. I guess painting-- slopped the paint on would be more appropriate. I had chosen a pinkish-red color, so you could see all around my nail where the paint was on the skin, and then the same with the topcoat. I figured that was totally fine, as I assumed she would clean-up the spots afterwards. Nope! She told me to head to the drying station. I very nicely asked if she could please clean the extra polish of the area around my nails, and was rewarded with another eyeroll, and her scraping her bare nail around the edges instead of the go-to brush dipped in the solution. I smiled and thanked her and went to move over to the drying station. I feel like it's pretty standard that the nail techs move your things for you while your nails are drying so that your purse and such aren't across the room. She immediately walked over to start chatting with someone while I tried to pick up my things with wet nails, and finally just left my stuff and went to sit down. A minute or so later she dumps all of my things, including my wet rain coat, in a pile on the floor next to me.Needless to say, I left with wet nails. I will NEVER give this place another cent of my money. It's fine if my nails aren't perfect-- when you pay $30, you should expect to get what you pay for. But I refuse to support bad customer service, and this woman was beyond rude and unprofessional. Horrific experience! Read Less
