People are nice enough and the place seems clean. First visit, I had gel removed and they did what I expected, which is nick the top coat and then soak the gel off. Second visit for a gel removal and gel mani, was very different. Tech used the power sander they use for acrylics to remove the old polish rather than soaking it off. I can't see how she didn't take off some of my nail in the process. Their UV lights are in little slots in the mani table rather than the small desktop light I have seen elsewhere. So your whole hand gets exposed, not just the nail tips. She kept telling me to put my hand all the way in and wanted me to leave my hands in for many minutes rather than the 30-45 seconds elsewhere. The skin on the backs of my hands actually started to tingle before it was all done. I asked about SPF and my question was brushed off. A week later, my pale gray polish has turned yellow, looking a bit like puss. It started gradually but has spread across the entire nail. I am guessing this must be due to a chemical reaction between the three different brands of products used. Will not be returning here.

He took so much effort for detail and when something's wasn't write He fixed it. I really enjoyed my one hour appointment there. 10/10 would go again

I've tried a few Nail Salons in Northampton, and this is the one I am more satisfied with. I had a deluxe pedicure that was very relaxing and a dip powder manicure that has lasted for 3 weeks now. Hygiene is important for me and the salon and tools looked very clean.

I went in to get a gel manicure, when I was looking at the colors the woman there kept asking me if I had picked one yet and at one point a woman stood by me watching me until I picked a color. When I asked her how much a gel manicure was she said $28. She then sat me down and started, because I've never gotten A gel manicure before I told her that I didn't want them super long. She began to very loudly talk to other coworkers in Chinese and told me that I would have to wait. So I waited for about 20 minutes until someone came to do my nails! When he was filing them he rubbed my skin so hard that I began to bleed. Then he went on about how that wasn't his fault! When he was going to have the color here very quickly said that that would be an extra $10! I quickly stopped him and insisted that I have a clear coat. When he was done there was still powder under my nails and a little bit of gel on my skin. He said the total was $25. It didn't come out good but I think I will go somewhere else next time.

I come here from Holyoke to get the spa pedicure!! They auctley take their time to message each leg and foot- it's clean. Using a plastic disposable liner in each foot tub, chairs are comfortable and the room is big and open so your not all on top of each other. The girls are always very friendly and speak good english. Open 7 days a week and I almost always get right in. So glad o found this place!

It's been 8 days since I got a gel manicure/pedicure at this salon and I have not one chip!!! I work as an RN and wash my hands literally hundreds of times a day. Even shellac manicures usually only last me 4-5 days tops. To say I'm hard on my hands is an understatement. This place was clean and neat. The technician did a great job and was meticulous. The pedicure was amazing and included a hot stone massage. Nothing felt rushed at all. I'll definitely be going back.

DONT GET ACRYLICS HERE! Brian glued the tips on pointing upwards (instead of downward with the natural curve of the nail), probably because he was talking on the phone while doing them. He didn't buff my cuticles properly, and didn't remove the acrylic dust from under my nails. The nail polish was horrible - all over my cuticles and on parts of my skin, which he never rubbed off with acetone. He did 3 coats to hide the mistakes, but it just made it goopy. I ended up going back and asking for a refund, which he quickly accepted. Maybe this is a good place for gels, but they should discontinue the acrylic services.

Went here before graduation for the first time. I got the Deluxe Spa Pedicure and it was so relaxing. They really took the time and my pedicure came out looking great. My feet and legs were nice and smooth. The massaging and massage chair were great. The facilities were really clean and the people were very nice. It is a really large space too! They prefer cash. But my friend and I didn't have any (because we weren't aware of the policy) so they let us use our cards. BUT in the future I will bring cash!

I do not usually get my nails done because the cost is not worth it compared to the time that my manicure lasts before I want to take all of the chipped polish off (even with gels). My sister told me about dip powder nails that she has gotten done here and how they last her around 4 weeks (even with heavy wear-and-tear and a hairstylist). She said they last longer than gel manicures and cost the same. I was interested considering the fact that if they last longer I could justify spending money on them. I had them done today, lots of colors to chose from and great service. I think only one of the people working can do the dip powder so you probably want to call ahead to make sure you can get them done but it was worth it! I'll have to see how long they last for me but I'm very excited and will definitely go back based on the cleanliness and friendliness of the staff. Really impressed compared to other nail salons that I've been to in the past that have left me feeling like I didn't get my money's worth. Give this place a try if you're in the area.

I absolutely love this place! The staff are friendly and not rushed at all. They take their time, even if it gets close to closing. I've had both pedicures and manicures and both have been great. I think my favorite thing about Style is that it feels clean. I will come back again and again! Don't forget to get a punch card :)

My family and I have been getting our nails done by these wonderful people for over 15 years. They are always so friendly and happy to see us. We love going to them so much that we now drive 30 minutes to get there since they opened a new business in Northampton. When I first started going to them, I was a nail biter, I had more skin then nails. They wouldn't even think twice when I asked for tips and acrylic. They ALWAYS made my nails look great. Now that I have real nails, I have had regular manicures, gel manicures, and my newest favorite: the ANC dip powder. I work in healthcare, and the chemicals we use to clean would eat away at nail polishes and sometimes even gel polish, so i tried the dip powder. This stuff is amazing. It's super strong and lasts longer than anything else I've used. The other thing to die for at this salon, is their pedicures. Whether you get the deluxe pedicure or just a regular pedicure, it is completely relaxing and they do a beautiful job.

Went here tonight for the first time, they were very busy and accommodated everyone who came in, they all helped one another to serve everyone. They gave some obviously loyal customers two stamps on their card and some free services. They were very pleasant, and of course, and importantly, the salon was very clean. Even though they were obviously working quickly on me to be able to see walk in customers it was very professional and well done, and they disinfected my hands after doing my fill. I had been to NY visiting a friend, got a full set of tips with ANC at a local salon called Nail Trix and they were not good. Went into Style Nails and Spa today, met the technician who was there (forget her name), I showed her my nails, which looked like warped chiclets and she took 1.5hrs fixing them. This involved reshaping, applying acrylic and gel polish. Spent a fraction of what the original manicure was and she did beautiful work. She looked at each nail from all angles to make sure they were consistent. The technician is a true artist and the pride in her work shows. Found my new forever salon! Couldn't be happier!! :)

I am very germ conscious, and was comforted to see that there were many indicators that this place was clean, such as using new files/nail buffers for each customer, plastic liners on pedicure tubs, sterilized and wrapped cuticle clippers, etc. The only down side is that it's cash only. Aside from that, great experience and great deal! Would recommend.

I've lived in Northampton for over 5 years and have bounced around to various nail salons whenever it was convenient, with out much satisfaction. The other places were fine, but not great.Style Nails is one of the best salons I have been to, ever. The staff are all so friendly. But my favorite part is how clean the place is. All nail tools are used from sanitized packages. I've become a gel nail addict because they alway do such a great job.The basic pedicures are about $1 more expensive than other local places, but so worth it. Each tub is lined with a new plastic cover, so you aren't sharing any one else foot germs. Again, clean tools, new relaxing massage chairs and it includes exfoliating scrub and hot stones. The words gotten out though, so go early or call for an appointment. Walk-ins are hard with out a 15 minute or so wait.

Best of all, the tank is lined with plastic liner that assures a clean, disinfected experience.I am a recent customer, I've only come a few times, I tell friends about it. We are all impressed with the cleanliness and level of professionalism - and the beautiful manis and pedis.

I do not usually get my nails done because the cost is not worth it compared to the time that my manicure lasts before I want to take all of the chipped polish off (even with gels). My sister told me about dip powder nails that she has gotten done here and how they last her around 4 weeks (even with heavy wear-and-tear and a hairstylist). She said they last longer than gel manicures and cost the same. I was interested considering the fact that if they last longer I could justify spending money on them. I had them done today, lots of colors to chose from and great service. I think only one of the people working can do the dip powder so you probably want to call ahead to make sure you can get them done but it was worth it! I'll have to see how long they last for me but I'm very excited and will definitely go back based on the cleanliness and friendliness of the staff. Really impressed compared to other nail salons that I've been to in the past that have left me feeling like I didn't get my money's worth. Give this place a try if you're in the area.

A disappointment, especially after all the great reviews. Went in for a gel manicure - no soak, no cuticle trimming, no massage. The power tools were used extensively and really ripped up the areas...

I absolutely love this place! The staff are friendly and not rushed at all. They take their time, even if it gets close to closing. I've had both pedicures and manicures and both have been great. I think my favorite thing about Style is that it feels clean. I will come back again and again! Don't forget to get a punch card :)

My family and I have been getting our nails done by these wonderful people for over 15 years. They are always so friendly and happy to see us. We love going to them so much that we now drive 30 minutes to get there since they opened a new business in Northampton. When I first started going to them, I was a nail biter, I had more skin then nails. They wouldn't even think twice when I asked for tips and acrylic. They ALWAYS made my nails look great. Now that I have real nails, I have had regular manicures, gel manicures, and my newest favorite: the ANC dip powder. I work in healthcare, and the chemicals we use to clean would eat away at nail polishes and sometimes even gel polish, so i tried the dip powder. This stuff is amazing. It's super strong and lasts longer than anything else I've used. The other thing to die for at this salon, is their pedicures. Whether you get the deluxe pedicure or just a regular pedicure, it is completely relaxing and they do a beautiful job.

Went here tonight for the first time, they were very busy and accommodated everyone who came in, they all helped one another to serve everyone. They gave some obviously loyal customers two stamps on their card and some free services. They were very pleasant, and of course, and importantly, the salon was very clean. Even though they were obviously working quickly on me to be able to see walk in customers it was very professional and well done, and they disinfected my hands after doing my fill. I'll keep coming back here.

I had been to NY visiting a friend, got a full set of tips with ANC at a local salon called Nail Trix and they were not good. Went into Style Nails and Spa today, met the technician who was there (forget her name), I showed her my nails, which looked like warped chiclets and she took 1.5hrs fixing them. This involved reshaping, applying acrylic and gel polish. Spent a fraction of what the original manicure was and she did beautiful work. She looked at each nail from all angles to make sure they were consistent. The technician is a true artist and the pride in her work shows. Found my new forever salon! Couldn't be happier!! :)

I got a pedicure by Nina. She was very kind and did a good job, and spent a lot of time massaging my calves which great (and much needed)! I am very germ conscious, and was comforted to see that there were many indicators that this place was clean, such as using new files/nail buffers for each customer, plastic liners on pedicure tubs, sterilized and wrapped cuticle clippers, etc. The only down side is that it's cash only. Aside from that, great experience and great deal! Would recommend.

I've lived in Northampton for over 5 years and have bounced around to various nail salons whenever it was convenient, with out much satisfaction. The other places were fine, but not great.Style Nails is one of the best salons I have been to, ever. The staff are all so friendly. But my favorite part is how clean the place is. All nail tools are used from sanitized packages. I've become a gel nail addict because they alway do such a great job.The basic pedicures are about $1 more expensive than other local places, but so worth it. Each tub is lined with a new plastic cover, so you aren't sharing any one else foot germs. Again, clean tools, new relaxing massage chairs and it includes exfoliating scrub and hot stones. The words gotten out though, so go early or call for an appointment. Walk-ins are hard with out a 15 minute or so wait.

Best of all, the tank is lined with plastic liner that assures a clean, disinfected experience.I am a recent customer, I've only come a few times, I tell friends about it. We are all impressed with the cleanliness and level of professionalism - and the beautiful manis and pedis.

Clean salon and nice people! I got a pedi and the chair was super comfy. Make an appointment if you can. We went on a Monday and needed to book ahead of time. Highly recommended.
