This nail salon was better when it first opened.  I am not a systematic regular, but don't book a late appointment, they rush and cut corners on the quality of the manicure/pedicure. Also I don't see a huge differebce between a regular pedicure and an express other than the hot rocks and very brief leg exfoliation (?) Scrub.  Not worth the extra ten dollars. I do like the plastic liners in the foot baths and the technicians are all very nice and profrssional.  But a little disappointed in the slip in quality I seem to get since first going. Read Less

Polished is my favorite nail shop in town. It's super clean and the staff is very warm and friendly. I LOVE the fact that there are no TVs airing news, game shows, talk shows, etc. You can truly relax and enjoy the pampering without such distractions. Read Less

Felt hurried... poor quality work, no hand massage... all polish was old , thick which made polish come off quickly. I have been 2 times , first time I felt hurried but gave them another chance , same thing this time. Nail salons are everywhere... go somewhere else , you will be happier . It took me while to actually get here because whenever I would drive by, it always looked so crowded and I'm a walkin type of gal.   I finally broke down and made a gel mani appointment and I'm so glad that I did.  It was a tad more pricey than some places I've been in the area, but definitely worth it. The paraffin dip and massage made my day.  The service I received was excellent and I have no complains!  I love that it is so clean and organized.  I can't wait to go back for my next service. If I could give this place no stars, I would. I have been here before and had overall good experiences. However, today I arrived right at 9am. All of the lights were off, the blinds were closed and the door was locked. I then looked online and the stated opening time was 9:30 so I thought maybe I had the 9am appointment time wrong. So, I left at 9:05 and came back at 9:25. The owner was extremely rude and started lecturing me loudly about how I shouldn't have been late. Another customer told the owner that she wasn't there on time (in my defense). However, the owner continued on telling me how I should have just waited. Really?? She couldn't have been more condescending and rude. Then she said she couldn't take me. I will NEVER go back. The owner has no concept of how to run a business and has NO customer service skills. I ended up going across the street to Luxor Nails and they were amazing!! Read Less

The ladies at polished are fantastic! I love that the salon is tastefully decorated, quiet, and doesn't have a TV on; it makes it feel a bit more peaceful. My gel manicures from polished often last well over 2 weeks. Their pedicures are nice too. Read Less

I wish I could give this place more than five stars!Anne and her team are amazing and pay such close attention to detail. I have very short nails and they always do a standout gel manicure. I have gone in for a pedicure maybe a week after a manicure and I asked to get a couple of my nails fixed that I chipped myself. Anne fixed those nails, and the REST of my manicure for next to nothing. I will continue to keep coming back for more manis and pedis as long as Anne and her amazing team is there!! Read Less

A solid nail salon with many nice touches that made my visit feel special, including a paraffin hand-dip and wonderful shoulder massage, and a discount coupon for a return visit.  A beautiful salon with modern decor, friendly staff, great color selection and - most important - an obvious attention to hygiene and cleanliness.   Prices are average for the area.  ($30 for gel manicure and $30 for a pedicure).  I would have given this a five-star review but I was kept waiting over 30 minutes past my scheduled appointment without explanation or apology.  Still, the experience overall warrants a return visit and I will definitely be back, and would recommend to others. I've been to Polished about 4-5 times. Initially I really liked it for the cleanliness, nice owners, neck massage and paraffin wax included and they did a nice job with the mani & pedi. However, it seems as they're getting busier they don't have adequate staff and the service has become extremely slow and sloppy. I was literally there for 2 hours for a mani/pedi and most recently an hour and 20 mins for a regular mani with gel removal! They did very minimal cuticle removal so the finished look was sloppy. One problem is the owner who was doing my nails kept leaving to answer phone, take care of clients payments, and to answer other questions. I find this completely unacceptable and will not be returning to Polished. Too bad. Thought I'd found my new nail salon. Read Less

Spent 95 dollars for a mani and pedi. Within 24 hours, gel nail polish on 2 of my nails came completely off. I walked in today to ask her to fix it and she told me to make an appointment, she was too busy. So, you have no problem taking my money but need to make Another appointment to fix her mistake. With all the great salons in Andover and North Reading, that was a Mistake. I will now pay additional money to have another salon fix it. All done with Polished. Read Less

Never again. Worst mani pedi I've received in 15yrs. If you can't accommodate a party of 3 including a bride to be then you should cancel the appointment. Also, if you can only accommodate half a the party, do a good job and don't accept walk ins to half ass the people who made an appt. Very disappointed and will never return! Read Less

I had heard from friends that this nail salon was exceptional and worth the extra $5.00 for a manicure or pedicure.  It is exceptionally clean and the pedicure i got ($30.00) was terrific and included a paraffin treatment.  The owners Katie and Ann were lovely and the music choices was perfect. As part of each treatment you are given a shoulder/neck massage which convinced me this is the only salon I will be going back to!  They also have higher end pedicures that are about $75.00 and up that include a 20 minute massage and I suspect they are worth it. The basic was great though. I walked in and was served but I have heard they appreciate appointments being scheduled which makes sense since they provide high end service. Read Less

It is very nice inside, and everyone there is nice. However I have been here 3 times. The first time my nails all bubble while drying and they had to repaint them. The second time the woman used the wrong top cop, and I needed to be repainted. And today the girl asked me if I wanted my nails cut. I said no to file them only because I like them long. She filed them down to the skin and every nail is crooked. Not to mention while drying, every nail bubbled. You shouldn't advertise the vinylux colors if you don't have the proper top coat. I wouldn't mind it being SO much more expensive than every where else in town,if they actually looked good at the end. I will not be back. Read Less

Longest a shellac has stayed on my nails! 3 weeks it's looked good and I am on week 4 and some are just starting to peel! Amazing quality and great experience! Love all the extras they do like shoulder massage and paraffin treatment! Highly recommend! Read Less
