Perfect! I found them unexpectedly, when I travelled a different way home from work & they were right next door to CVS. I've been looking for a good nail salon for months. As soon as I walked in it felt good. It was spacious and friendly and I couldn't believe the prices. It was only $25 for either a gel manicure or pedicure. I had Kim & she was really sweet & she did a perfect gel manicure. When I looked around to the other technicians, all I saw was friendly smiling faces, very welcoming. It was also very clean. I got acrylics and I will never go back here again considering the guy who did them is awful. He is not only horrible at painting nails my nails, they were smudging and chipped before I even left the salon. I even gave it a second shot and went again to get them done a second time to give him the benefit of the doubt that he was maybe having a bad day. Well what a mistake that was I got them done again and they were awful again. i went down the street to get a polish change because that's how bad they were and I didn't want to deal with him. Not to mention he is so miserable and not polite to his customers. He was mad that I wanted him to paint my nail 3 times since he poured half the bottle of nail remover in the color I chose so it came out lighter than I wanted and he was pissed did them fast and they were all over my nails and smudged. Will never go back here again. The girls that work there are so kind and sweet I honestly don't know how they can work with such a miserable guy who treats customers this bad. The owner is one of the rudest people, I have ever   met. I had the worst experience in this salon!!Plus they have very unprofessional staffers.Ugh!!!However if u live around, Wilmington area, go to Exotic nails in Wilmington and find Mandy! That's your girl for sure!!! Read Less

Hands down best place. I went yesterday and they took their time and were all around fabulous. I was cold, they put heaters on me. They got me tea. I saw smiles....clean, sterilized. Spa pedicure for $40 was so worth every penny! Read Less

Friendly staff, great mani/pedi and all at a reasonable price! I have made many appointments here and the ladies of Exotic Nails are always happy to accommodate myself & my friends-even when we are running late!They have a great selection of gel polish and they apply it in a way that it really does last 10 days. This salon by far does the best pedicures and manicures, I've been coming here for over 8 years!  I've tried other salons and am always disappointed.  The salon is clean and they are always fully staffed, I've never waited more than 10 minutes and I always walkin.  Highly recommend this place! I had been here before but I wouldn't say I was a regular customer.  For example, one time I was in there for 5 minutes and was completely ignored -- so I went elsewhere.  If you aren't going to acknowledge me you aren't going to get my business.HOWEVER I went in on Saturday after a bad experience at a different salon Friday night (a gel manicure that peeled off after less than 15 hours).  Kim was lovely and so sweet.  I went in there so flustered, rushed for time, and frustrated.  I left feeling so much better.I am bummed that I paid a total of $55 including tip between Friday night's mistake and Saturday's recovery -- but what can you do?  Knowing I have a manicure that looks good and will last is (almost) worth it.Kim has made me a customer of exotic nails.  I will definitely be returning. I made an appointment for 2 mani/pedis for my sister and myself. Though we were both seated for the pedicures at the same time, mine was finished before anyone even started on her, and it was the same woman. We have busy lives and made appointments for a reason.We won't be coming back. Read Less

Went in on new year's eve, seemed quite busy, but were accepting walkins. The lady who did my pedicure was quite nice, but since she had another appointment, another did my manicure. When I asked if I could change the nail color on my toes as suddendly seemed to not like it that much, she snapped immediately. Even though the lady who did my pedicure said, she wouldn't mind, the one doing my manicure went on and on about them being busy and that I am not supposed to be asking for a nail color change. and all that even after I had given her a hefty tip. Exotic Nails is the best nail salon I ever went too!!! Here's the reason why, they have the most selections of Opi polish and Shellac polish, compare to other nails salon in the area that don't carry that much polishes at all, friendly fair prices and do a wonderful job whenever I'm there.  I hope this review is helpful for u. It's cheap and fast!  I have the worst habit of biting my nails, and after a manicure they look good as new. However, I wish there was a mani-pedi special, because everyone could use a little extra pampering.  Their standard manicures last typically two weeks, a lot longer than other places. Read Less

went here after getting recommendations from several friends. we always call to make appointments - but there seems to be A LOT of walk-ins here. the workers don't really greet you when you walk in either, which I dislike (minus 1 star). every time we've gone we've waited about 15-20 minutes for service (even with an appointment) (minus 1 star) so that is annoying - but once you get in with someone they do an amazing job. My moms acrylics last more than 2 weeks after a fill (that never happens with other salons!!) and my pedicures felt great but did started chipping right before 2 weeks... still I would recommend. if you don't mind waiting a while & a little chaos when you first get there - then you will most likely be happy! Although the staff is very nice, they use the same unclean pedi and manicure tools on each client. None of the tools were disinfected between clients. I watched as the technician took the same tools she used on the previous client (she had placed them in a glass without disinfectant it) and used them on me! Although the salon is convenient to my location, I can not risk an infection and go back... :( There should be a manager or state checks to make sure that salons are complying with basic sanitary requirements! Didn't start off very good... sat at the pedicure chair for 15 minutes waiting for someone to start my pedi...this was at noon on a week day (and I called to make an appointment!). Worst salon EVER. The didn't understand English, so she couldn't understand what I was saying. I asked her to not cut them down, just shape my nails. She proceeded to cut them down and cut me in the process. I didn't finish the manicure. My fingers feel raw now. Oh and the dolt had the balls to ask for a tip.
