Great Yelp reviews so I decided to try this place when my daughter was coming in for a visit.   I had an extremely disappointing experience.   I made our appointments several days in advance.  When we arrived for our 11:30 AM appointments the salon was  a little busy.  My daughter was taken for her appointment (only 10-15 minutes late) but then told they didn't have time to do both the scheduled mani and the pedi!I waited over 30 minutes before anyone was free.   There was no attempt made to address the situation by the person in charge who was aware I was unhappy.  I then only had time for a pedicure.  The woman who actually did my pedicure, Kim, was lovely.  However she wasn't in charge of scheduling people.While the owner was away on vacation the person in charge did NOT apologize for the wait nor had they called us to inform us of this problem.  Nor did they offer any discount after their scheduling difficulty.  Very poor service. Tried this place on a whim and I'm so glad i did! I walked in late in the day and they fit me right away, despite it being close to closing time. Meagan gave me a full set of acrylics using dipping powders rather than traditional acrylics. I'll never go back to the old method - my nails look incredibly natural and it was way quicker. She did a great job and was very thorough and made sure I was happy with the length and shape. They also have chrome powders - I went for the gold chrome over nude pink and it looked gorgeous.I'll definitely be back, especially to see Meagan. Great salon!! Read Less

First off, I will say this salon is incredibly clean and gives the absolute best manicures and pedicures. Staff is very friendly and super helpful (one exception - I accidentally used the wrong wheel for a gel mani and my nail tech was extremely annoyed about this! So weird especially considering it was my first time there, had no idea which of the five wheels I should have used, and picked out the correct color on the correct wheel in about 30 seconds and even apologized!).I sadly had to stop going to this place due to the scheduling.The salon advertises "walk-ins accepted" but the first time I walked in I was told there was no one to help me. However, it was early morning so I didn't think anything of it and that I should probably call the next time. Next time - I called and ended up waiting 25 minutes. Got my gel mani and it was the BEST manicure I've ever received in the Boston area - it lasted for 3 weeks!!! So I went consistently for a while & was happy. A month or so later I called, made an appt, went in and was asked to come back in 45 minutes (after moving my schedule for the time they asked me to come in).I was sad to switch to another salon since the services are so great here, but unfortunately scheduling is a deal breaker for me. I have been here twice before, and unfortunately it's a bit too expensive and far away with traffic for me to continue coming back now that I've used up the gift certificate. The women here are very nice and sociable. I checked out the previous reviews/website and requested Be, the owner, for the gel mani / regular pedi. The salon itself looks very plain with minimal decorations and the standard nail polish rack with nail swatches on a ring. First time I arrived on time assuming I would be the first person since that's when the place opens according to their published hours. However similar to many other nail salons I still had to wait about 10-15 minutes. She said she'd be with me momentarily and asked me to pick out nail colors. That is nice that she made an exception for one of her loyal clients to do an earlier appointment, but unfortunate for me. I sat down at one of the three pedicure stations with scalding water until Be finally finished. We exchanged friendly banter which I was not accustomed to from other places I visited. I am unsure whether this place has the fake flip flops if you forget yours since I did not see any other women encounter this issue. They may have ran out of the toe separators so she used tissues the first time for everyone. It was my first time doing a gel manicure so I wasn't expecting this process to take so long. Overall the mani and pedi looked great! I should have asked to use the student discount the first time but I forgot. Anyway the second time I came back I had a new nail tech (Sylvia) who was not listed on the website and I arrived for their last appointment of the day so it was understandable that I had to wait again after my appointment time. I brought my own polish to use and she did not clean the polish residue off the bottle after use unfortunately. She did a good job with the pedicure, aside from the complaining she did the entire time about her aching back. I wasn't sure what she wanted me to say in response since it's not unexpected if she's hunched over the pedicure station all day... I tried to use the student discount they have advertised of 10% with the gift card, and was refused by Be because she said I could not use 2 promotions at the same time. Gift cards are not promotions as the person who gifted to me prepaid the price for the services/value! My new favorite place. Don't let the scheduled times fool you because they're open until 7pm on Saturdays (the posted time is incorrect) and if you call and ask the owner, Be, can accommodate you earlier or later than the schedule says. They offer a free manicure after you've gotten 10. Very clean place and they do a detailed job. They tend to be booked but they just hired two people and a lady to do waxing as well as the already eyebrow threading they offer. I originally called for the first time, looking for a new salon, and was told they were booked but just 15 minutes later Be called me back and said she'd fit me in...so glad she did because I received a great mani pedi and they stayed until 8pm to make sure my nails fully dried! $45 for a basic mani pedi which includes exfoliate, hot coals, and massage (for pedi) and massage (for mani) however they do offer deluxe packages. Be and her coworkers took the time to ensure that every customer was cared for and satisfied. Definitely head here if you want great service and personable customer attention 5/5 Read Less

I am very very particular about my nails, and I had an amazing experience at M&T nails with Sonny. I went in for a full set of acrylics, but ended up getting a gel dip, which is so cool!! My nails are perfectly shaped, and my gel polish is impeccable. I am beyond impressed and will definitely be back. Sonny was so concentrated and took an amazing amount of care with my manicure! If you haven't been to M.T Nails in a while I suggest you give them a try. Since Tina left, the new owners, Be & Lynn, have cleaned up the tired salon and gave it a much needed up date! I Just had a mani-pedi with Lynn. She gave me a very relaxing foot massage and a perfectly painted nails! I've been to other salons and the polish just doesn't last as long. I have been going to MT nails for a few years. Bee gives the most EXCELLENT pedicure and manicure. All the staff are very kind and accommodating. I moved half an hour away and I continue to go and see Bee because I don't ever get the same results any where else. Love MT nails!! Read Less
