Best haircut experience I've ever had! I trusted Alton's recommendations and I'm very satisfied that I did. He took great care of me and my 11 year old son. We were immediately made to feel at home. I wasn't sure what to expect coming into the shop, but I kept an open mind and gave it a shot.Parking was a breeze. Small lot close by and plenty of street parking available at 2:45 on a Saturday afternoon. I walked up to Sid's Clothing (barber shop is in the basement) and made my way downstairs (first floor looked awesome but didn't have a chance to check anything out). The receptionist at the front desk was nice and welcoming, she offered me a beverage but I declined. As I waited for my barber I hung out at the bar. Yes, you read that right. It was just a small set up but everything you needed to have a relaxing cocktail.My barber, Kristina, was an absolute professional. She has been cutting hear for years now and she certainly knows what she was doing. Her attention to detail is remarkable. I automatically relaxed knowing I was in great hands. I don't want to go overboard with my review but she cut my hair EXACTLY how I like it. I'm always cautious trying new places because let's face it folks, the last thing you want to do is walk around like you got into a fight with a lawnmower. Kristina made me look good, and when you look good, you feel good. I feel like a million bucks.So if you are in the area, or for myself, almost an hour away, it's worth every penny seeing Kristina. 4/5 only because the bathrooms are kinda...well...blah. Disappointed and not at all what other biased reviewers experienced.  The place looks nice but it's done in a fairly basic fashion.  No bells and whistles.  Service is what it's all about and I came for my first father-son haircut with that purpose explicitly stated when I made the booking at what is not a cheap place.  They were pretty much done with my son's haircut when they said they were ready for me.  Nice people but you have to know how to execute.  They do not. Professionalism and refined service at its best. Walking in, you immediately feel like you're going to be taken care of- the full bar and lounge area with huge flat screen gives a sophisticated but relaxed vibe. I've had hot shaves in many high end men's spas in NYC and LA, but the attention to detail and overall experience at Chivalry was unique to anything else I've seen.  Custom chairs, equipment, products, and service put Chivalry in a league of its own.  Make sure you ask for Alton, and he'll guarantee you leave better then when you came in.  Very impressive all the way around!
