I have been coming here for Years (when it was Fancy Nails!) and I have nothing but great things to say! The staff at the front are always friendly and professional. Tea, coffee, or water is always offered. The space is big, clean, and you feel welcomed right away! I have got my nails done here for 4+ years by Krysteen who I highly suggest! She also does my eyelashes, and her attention to detail and truly caring about the outcome makes her the very best! I will never go any where else! Also, they are top of the game when it comes to sanitary. Everything is individual wrapped, and there's liners in the pedi tubs.You can tell they love their customers and want them to leave happy! I also love the stamp card for every $30 spent. Perfect way to say "thank you" to the regulars at the salon. If you are looking for a mani, pedi, or eyelash extentions, I highly recommend Meraki spa. Although the front desk staff was friendly, my gel manicure started to peel after five days, the nail stations where very dirty and even though I had an appointment I still had to wait twenty minutes. I've been going to meraki for a while and am always pleased with the quality of work they do, as well as the relaxing atmosphere. However today I went in for a gel polish change (booked online); there was some miscommunication and I ended up with a manicure (no big deal). Everything would have been fine except for the fact that the receptionist was absolutely miserable. From the moment I walked in, she was in a terrible mood. She didn't greet me, was on her cell phone the whole time, and scolded a nail technician right in front of me. She also scolded me for apparently booking "the wrong service," which was absurd. She didn't say thank you or even "have a nice day." When I get my nails done, I expect to relax and be met with a friendly face. With nail salons, it's always hard to find a place where they don't cut corners or rush to jam in as many customers as they can. Anna did my manicure and pedicure today and took her time making sure everything was perfect. Very happy with my nails! It should not be a rushed and stressful experience. I felt relaxed and now I know my nails will last long! Only thing is they charged me $5 for the previous gel removal which they have never done before.. if I'm paying for gel, removing the old polish is just part of the manicure. Otherwise, 10/10! Had a wonderful first experience! I had been calling around to get an acrylic set all night and every other salon in the area wanted me to come in at the most 20 minutes before they closed, which is NOT enough time to get a set done. I was checked in immediately here and brought right over to a chair and my acrylics came out wonderful. Jenny was the technician and she asked if I liked the shape and length before she continued with anything else, which I also greatly appreciated because most places just do as they please. I went for a basic pedicure and asked to have a manicure at the same time. Manicure was quick, average, and I had no major complaints. Pedicure was absolutely horrible. The lady cut my toe...to the point that it took more than 5 minutes to get it to stop bleeding so she could actually paint my big toe nail. It did stop bleeding. That is until I went to breakfast and noticed that it had started bleeding again. My friends and I went to go walk down by the waterfront and I had to stop every minute or so to dab at the blood so it didn't drip down my toe. So disgusting and embarrassing. Hoping I don't get an infection. Also, the paint job was mediocre. I'm going to have to clean up the skin around my nail to get the paint off. Don't go here. Read Less

Looking for places here and there for a gel mani, I found Meraki. I'll look no further. I've always left here having had a pleasant experience. I always feel welcome, I never feel rushed and my nails look great. The price can't be beat for the level of service you get here. Don't go too close to when they close! I don't get my nails done often because I haven't had good experiences with manicures in the past. Unfortunately this was a repeat of that, even trying a new salon. Let me start off by saying my pedicure was amazing! Lynn was the technician, super friendly and extremely precise. She deserves 5 stars :) Also, the salon itself is nice and it was super clean. Nancy did my nails at the same time to speed things along. I wouldn't have minded,... but the receptionist told me there was enough time for both. I work right down the street and would have come back to get my mani if it was a problem. She rushed and they came out sloppy. The top coat is uneven. The coats of polish are uneven and not covering the nail completely. There are bubbles and smudges in the polish, which is also smeared on the 3 cuticles she missed when trimming. They were closing and leaving so I didn't even bother asking her to fix it. I have tried this place a couple times and as much as I want to like it, I'm not so impressed. I will lead with what I like about it. It is very clean. They put a plastic guard on the pedicure tubs which I really appreciate. I like that they used steralized tools that are open in front of me and have not been used on anyone before me. What I don't like is that they only have the cheese grater type of foot file for callus removal. I prefer the sand paper type, its better for your skin. I paid extra for a callous removal treatment but then couldn't get my calluses removed because I didn't want them to use that file on my feet. I felt they rushed through the service. I went in for a pedicure and manicure on a Monday and I went back for a polish change on my hands Friday. The polish change was completely rushed. The nail technician completely missed the edges of my nails and got a piece of dried up top coat on one of them. It was just sloppy because she wasn't taking her time. I bought my girlfriend here for a surprise manicure based on referrals from friends. The place was very welcoming and clean. Complimentary coffee, water  and tea while I waited. She normally doesn't get manicures,  but the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They made her feel at home and her nails turned out great. I would definitely recommend this place. I live about 40 minutes south of Meraki but I always make the drive up for my manicure and pedicure! The salon is clean, spacious, and beautiful. Great manicure and pedicure. Had a gift certificate from dear husband who tagged along and was introduced to the wonder of the massage chair. I really liked that they kindly invited him to come enjoy the massage chair next to me in pedi area even though he wasn't having any services. This place is big! Rows of pedi chairs and many long tables for nails. Clean facility. Easy parking, as it is in a shopping plaza. I was referred to Meraki Spa by a very discerning friend. She was very satisfied with the quality of the services she received,  so I decided to try it.  I have been to many nail salons over the years,  having regular manicures to acrylics.My 1st visit,  Krysteen assessed my nails and recommended the gel dip.  I had never heard of it,  but it sounded good.  No lights involved,  and cured when you walk out the door! I'm so happy with them.  Wide variety of colors;I get many compliments. After a few visits,  I decided to splurge and treated myself to the eyelash extensions. They have been a game changer for me. I cannot wear mascara without ending up with raccoon eyes.  I take a nice nap while Krysteen applies them,  and I'm makeup free.  The prices here are reasonable,  the staff is friendly,  and the place is VERY clean.  They use an autoclave to sterilize instruments along with disposables.
