Found this "deal" on Groupon. Glad I canceled my family portrait due to the inexperienced hair dresser could not give me any kind of a style that would last at least the whole time I was there. Do not get a mani because you will get about three to four coats of polish that does not dry until next year and gets ruined too before you leave this place ( I choose not to pay extra 10$ for the shalack ) I just wanted something simple and some pampering glad I got a "deal". Ok so I've been seeing these 2 stylists I know posting on the yard sale and trade pages on Facebook about their work trying to drum up clients and I'd just like to let everyone know NOT to go to Candi's Corner in New Bedford. I've personally gone there and they're beyond overpriced and they do terrible work. The owner, who does nails, drinks at work and when I had my nails done by her they came off within DAYS, not weeks. The service was painful and to fill them was almost $50 because they all fell off. The hairdressers there are not all that great, either. They used to be, but everyone worth the money left because the place is trash. I haven't had my hair done professionally in many many years. Kera has done my hair several times now and I've never felt more beautiful in my life. The tones and highlights I absolutely love. I bought a groupon to get my hair done here, site unseen.Let's just say I bought the groupon but did not end up getting my hair done.I told the stylist I wanted my full head headlights to not be "stripey" but to look natural and she had no idea how to do it. She kept asking me to pull up pictures of what I meant. I was very nervous so I ended up telling her "You're making me uncomfortable" and then I left.Oh, and there are fish tanks multiple places and leopard print painted on the red walls. Read Less

If I could give less stars I absolutely would. This was the WORST salon I have EVER been to. The owner was extremely rude to me and after a hairstylist messed up my hair beyond belief she REFUSED to give me my money back. The hairstylist had NO IDEA what she was doing. She literally asked me to pull up videos on YouTube of the service I wanted so she could learn how to do it. Like what!?!?!? The owner was present during all of this and she still refuses to give me my money back???? I would NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. It's also disgusting with gooey hair balls in the corners.
