Going into my first pregnancy I was worried about chemicals and nail polishes and being inside a nail salon, being a vegan also has affects the type of nail polish I use and the types of services I would splurge myself on. A friend referred me to K Organic Nail Spa and after going I refuse to go anywhere else. The girls here were more than happy to show me the brands they carry and let me check on my own that they were indeed vegan, they also do not do acrylics, so there is no harm being an expecting momma and breathing the air in here :). Not once have I felt pressured to buy a service I did not need or ever felt that anything was unsanitary. I am honestly shocked by the other reviews on here for this salon and have recommended this place to other friends and have no complaints, you get what you pay for. And for me products that are safe for me and my baby in a comfortable environment is worth a couple extra dollars. Read Less

My daughter and I went for manicures and pedicures both were OK but we both ended up having hangnails cut to the point that we were bleeding. Mine healed fine but my daughters did not and she is now on antibiotics for an infection due to the manicure. They were also very expensive - I got a mani/pedi with no polish (and didn't have any on that they had to take off) and it cost me $50 just for my service. I agree with the person who posted about her gift card. I too got a gift card for La Vie- originally K Organic honored my gift card in March, but more recently they told me that they didn't honor gift cards and that I could not use my remaining $60. Very disappointed as I wanted to like this place, but can't recommend it given my experience. Read Less
