Stopped in not knowing what to expect or knowing anyone who has visited this business prior. I needed my gel manicure removed which can sometimes be painful. The nail technician I had did an excellent job and probably the most pain-free experience I have had to date. I will definitely come back here and would recommend this business to others. Read Less

Very disappointed with my full set of acrylics and my daughter's gel manicure. Pretty sure it was the owner/manager who did my nails. Not sure what his name was due to the fact he didn't speak one word to me until it was time to pay. We were walk ins and they acted like we were bothering them. Place was not busy and it was 10:00 in the morning so it wasn't like the end of a busy day and they were tired. Nails are awful! All jagged around the sides and after he applied the nail polish, you can see he didn't put the acrylic right to the base of my nails and it looks like I needed a fill before even leaving the place. My other daughter asked me the following day if I had used glue on nails and painted them myself (that's how bad they look) My daughter's mani was ok, but the girl talked her into gel which is a lot more expensive and not holding up all that well. Four days into both services and I refuse to ever go back there again. Not a "thank you" or anything as we were leaving. I DO NOT recommend this place whatsoever! Read Less

No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't get into my regular salon to save my life. A good friend recommended her regular place, crystal nails & her tech is Tin. I called got an appointment with relative ease (I say relative because there it was the softest non English as a first language speaking person ever to answer a phone talking to me.)I arrived 5 minutes before my appointment. (I'd requested a mm appointment for a mani/pedi with Tin) I'm going to assume he doesn't do feet, because some chick did my pedicure. She was nice enough.  A little pushy when it came to patiently waiting for me to pick a color. (There's sarcasm there, she asked what color I was looking for & I said a pretty bright pink, she tried to guess what I meant by that by asking me about several god awful colors. Overall I selected a white. It's safe. For me, anyway)I went to the very last chair, always my preference so that was delightful. The chair was comfy, the massage control easy to manage, the arms of the chair... Low. Like you'd have to be part gorilla to have arms where you elbow is that low. It was weird. As will the any pedicure I get, I asked for them to be cut short. Very short. She understood & complied. BONUS. The pedicure was simple, basic if you will. A nice added free bonus a light scrub that she briefly massaged up my calf. No hot stones,  those belong to the big deluxe mortgage your house pedicure. With in 15 minutes I was being told to go sit down at Tin's station, I only knew where that was because I hovered awkwardly just long enough to be told where that was, which was where Tin was sitting, earbuds in & tablet out, which is where this previously unknown person to me was sitting when I walked in which is what leads me to believe he doesn't do feet. I sat at tin's station told him I was referred by a regular, he seemed disinterested, though from my position it was just a heads up someone likes your work more than anything else. The manicure was as the pedicure was, basic. No muss, no fuss. Turns out. I like a little fuss. I like to not sit with my neck craned to watch family feud instead a little conversation would have been nice but I'm a new mom, I've been up since 3:36a, you don't want to talk to me? Fine. Family feud it is. Tin does painfully thin coats of nail polish, if you're looking for complete opacity, three coats minimum. The UV dryers for Gel manicures is in the table which I found convenient & comfortable. The arms of the chair like the pedicure chairs were low. Overall in & out in 48 minutes. So while this won't be becoming my regular spot, in a pinch, it'll do the trick. Read Less

This is a great nail spa.  I usually see Lena who is very good.  Her mani-pedis always last a long time and are always expertly done.  The prices are also reasonable and the chairs very comfortable (important to me since I have a bad back).  I recommend it entirely. Read Less

I've been going to this nail salon for a long time and I think it is one of the best in the area. They're very fairly priced and I've never had to make an appointment. Even if they are busy when I walk in they always take me fairly quickly. They are very fast but still do a great job. The salon always looks clean and is up to my standards. Nice enough place but lady really tried to pressure me into getting a gel mani when I only wanted a regular. Had to turn her down 3-4 times! Also she told my mother and I quote "you pay me now you dry enough".  It's become a running joke between the two of us. Also was a very rushed job when they were not crowded at all. This was my first trip to Crystal nails and I am glad I came. I really had no idea what to expect but I was in dire need of a pedicure and figured I'd give it a shot since its convenient in my daily travels. I arrived and was immediately greeted by the staff who promptly informed me they had an opening- score! The girl who assisted me was great. She worked diligently and soon my feet were rejuvenated. I have to say the leg and foot massage she gave me for just a simple standard pedicure is worth noting. I'm not sure I ever had someone pay such close attention and devote a solid 5 + minutes to making sure my feet were relaxed. I was surprisingly impressed! The price was comparable to just about everywhere else locally and it was a nice no nonsense stop for me today to get my feet back into spring condition. I will DEFINITELY visit again! Read Less

I have been going to crystal nails for years. Even though I have moved far away I still go back. My fills will last 3 weeks. I have never found another place that does such a quality job. Pedicures last 2-3 weeks without chipping. They keep the place very clean I have even seen the cleaning routine when I am there late. I gave this salon a try because my normal spot isn't open on Sundays. I called ahead for an appointment. The staff was rude and abrupt. I showed up early and let them know I was in no hurry and that I had an appointment. They got me in quickly, but again, very rude. ""You! Pedicure, go sit!"", seriously. The girl who did my pedicure was sweet and she did a good job, but the process was very rushed. The man you did my fingers was sloppy and for the first time ever I went home and had to clean up all the polish all over my fingers. I could have asked him to do it, but by then I just wanted to leave. Maybe if you are a regular you get better service, but I was not impressed and will not be going back. FYUm I RARELY take the time to leave a negative review, I'm more the type to go in and hype on great service, but I wish I had read some of these reviews before giving them a try. Read Less

I thought I would try this nail salon. I had two broken nails, and the gentleman suggested I have a full set of acrylics reapplied instead of repairing my broken nails. I agreed. When he finished, he informed me that the cost was $40.00 which was fine. As I was having my nails dried, I noticed on the price list that a full set was $30.00. When I asked about the extra charge, he told me that there was an additional charge of $10.00 to remove the old nails, which I was never informed of. Also, they are constantly texting people while working on your nails. I feel this is rude, especially when I told him I had a time limit. I will not return to this salon. Read Less

HORRIBLE...dirty, gross, and hoping I get no infection or fungus....got a manicure with the gel nails that are supposed to last 3 weeks, for $30!!!  It was 9 days ago, and my nails look horrible, you can see where they want to lift!!  I will never ever go back there EVER!  dirty nail clippings on the side of the pedicure chair should have been my first clue...Shame on me. I just had the worst manicure of my life. I was the only patron getting serviced at 12pm on a weekday. There were ~10 staff members chit chatting loudly playing cards. At a table next to me. There were iced coffee cups everywhere. The man who gave me my $12 manicure spent 10 minutes max on me. My nails look awful. I was so pissed I walked out without drying. I had to leave I was going to blow up. I was disgusted by the lack of concern of customers and by the lack of professionalism displayed by the staff. No one takes pride in what they do there. I've been a customer for several years and have never seen a cleaner nail salon. It can be a little intimidating when the staff speaks to each other in their native Vietnamese, but the results are worth it. Not all of the techs are equally skilled though and you will have to figure out who does the best job on your particular style.
