My friend and I went here for a pedicure on Sunday. We were the only two in the salon and were very disappointed with the service. My feet were in the pedicure tub for 6 minutes (I timed it!) and there was next to no scrubbing. My friend's feet were in the tub for a little longer but again no scrubbing and barely any filing/shaping. We were going to get full sets as well but were so disappointed we decided against it. I am not the kind of person to complain about anything but I politely said at the end of the service we were expecting the pedicure to be a little longer and more scrubbing. The owner simply said it was 25-30 minutes and we could have paid more for a longer pedicure. My friend and I left and called back a few minutes later to again say how disappointed we were and we would like our money back. The owner again said it was 30 minutes and that they do not give money back after a service. We explained that the pedicure was certainly not 30 minutes and we would not be returning. The owner said ok that's fine and hung up. As two women who work in a customer service field, we were offended that there was not even an attempt to appease us or give us any reason to come back. This is my go-to place for manicures and pedicures. I love the staff and awesome service I receive every time I am there. This was my first time here, I don't live around the area. I didn't even realized they closed at 7 and I walked in at 7 looking for a polish change and they took me right in. There were only two people working. The owner, who was finishing up someone else, and a younger girl who did my nails immediately. The girl who did my nails was so good at doing nails I don't think I've ever been more satisfied. She did it fairly quickly but my nails came out absolutely perfect. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I went in to get a simple shellac polish change. I had a little shellac left on my nails so the guy proceeded to file it off my nails - he did not use any type of liquid and wrap them in foil. The filing hurt really bad. It started burning and then he SLICED MY NAIL IN HALF and it started bleeding (down where your skin is - where a nail is not supposed to break). He didn't say sorry he just threw some glue on it and proceeded to paint them. He didn't even file my nails or anything. He then proceeded to charge me full price, even when I said  "you sliced my nail in half and I'm bleeding, you want me to pay full price?" (Which was $18 - they do it for $15 down the street at Danvers nails)The owner was sitting right there and did nothing. It is now a week later and my shellac manicure is peeling off..... why did I pay $18 for a manicure that lasted a week?I'm a 26 year old girl who gets her nails done every 2 weeks or so, I went here for a quick polish change during my break because I was in a rush. It was the worst experience ever and I will NEVER go back. They should be ashamed of the service they provide. Read Less

I have been a loyal customer of Top Ten Nails for 5 years. Jenny and Andy are welcoming people and are always interested in getting to know their customers. The salon is VERY clean, has a relaxing atmosphere, and does not have a strong odor from polish like most salons I have previously tried. Top Ten Nails has a wide variety of shades for both shellac and lacquer polishes. The staff is accommodating and the prices are great, as I've never seen anywhere else that will do a shellac manicure for $25! The best part is the shellac lasts me about 3 weeks because of their proper technique of putting it on and taking it off so that it doesn't do any harm to my nails. I constantly get compliments on my nails because they do such a great job. I won't trust any other place with my nails so try Top Ten Nails ASAP! Read Less

I have been going to Jenny for many years and am a devoted client.  Having tried other salons when I travel or get stuck somewhere, i have found no one compares to Jenny and the staff at Top Ten Nails.  The salon is always clean, products are new and updated, and the tools she uses are always clean or new (they even use a a new plastic liner in their pedicure tubs for each client...which I love.)  My nails never chip or break (i still do acryllics) and my pedi is perfect.  Jenny and Andy are pro's and have a ton of experience between them. I went here on recommendation from a friend, The owner Jenny was very abrupt and unwelcoming, Having never met me before she reprimanded me for the first 10 minutes about waiting too long between pedicures, I did have nail polish chipping and couple chipped toenails, But I dance and my toes take a beating. being a couple weeks over due, i told her I was too busy and she snapped at me telling me I need to make time, we are all busy..on and on..Ummm Ok, I thought to myself. The prices were different from online site, which in itself is not a big deal, The prices here are fair and I understand price increases are necessary. Ugh. Went here a few weeks ago with a friend. A guy did my pedicure and did NOT do a good job. it literally took him 20 minutes to do a pedicure and all he did was cut my nails and paint them. He did not put lotion on, scrub off any callous, cut off my cuticles or anything! such a waste of money. I am not sure if the other employees are good but the male is Not good at all. I should have saved my 25 bucks and painted my toenails myself!. Ill gladly take my business elsewhere next time. Read Less

I have been going to this salon for about 3 months.  I always get a Shellac manicure.  On the plus, the salon is clean, quiet and pretty relaxing for a nail salon.  Jenny the owner is friendly.  I always see Yen or (Yan?) and her manicures come out great.  I try to stay with her as I have been disappointed in the other manicurists work.  Only thing I would say as a negative is they dont take the polish off using the "Shellac" method.  The colors could also use some updating...I feel like I have gone through them all! My daughter and my pedicures were average ... had French mani & full set of acrylics ... Jenny recommended the white tips (never got those before) ... Now I know why!!! I agreed because I always get/like French, so I went with her suggestion ...tips applied unevenly, poorly shaped/filled ... barely left a nail bed, thick overlay...they look so fake ...not classy looking @ all! I asked several times for her to sand/file them ... she kept telling me it was my nail shape... Then she said I'll do the shine finish ... Left air bumbled & I paid extra for it ...In the end I was overcharged  & hated my nails...wanted to rip them off... Only didn't because I was going away on vacation!  Jenny didn't even have a clue/get that I was unhappy ... Other customers arrived & she was like next! Ladies it's a 2 thumbs down ... I really don't understand the hype. I went here after reading rave reviews for acrylics. A guy did my nails and they came out horrible... They were uneven, extremely thick, crooked and poorly painted. Nothing upsets me more than taking the risk of destroying my nails with a full set and having them come out worse then when I went in. When I went to get a fill at another salon they demanded to know who did my nails and were horrified w/ the "craftsmanship". The acrylic powder turned yellow after a week so no chance for a French fill. So disappointing Read Less

I've been going to see jenny and andy for a couple of years now and I couldn't be more satisfied!! I originally went to them because I got a hack job on a pink and white set at another salon down the street (4 seasons) jenny did an amazing job they looked so natural everyone always asks me where I get them done. I also get my pedicures done there as well. Definitely worth the money to get the spa pedicure. It's so relaxing! What I like most about top ten is that they treat you like a friend instead of one of those salons that you feel like you're just on a fast paced assembly line. Read Less

Jenny and Andy are a young couple that own this salon and they do a fantastic job.  The place is very clean and the prices are competitive.  They have a good selection of polishes.  Jenny also does waxing.    After trying most of the salons in Saugus, Wakefield and Middleton, I feel this one is the best and I wouldn't go anywhere else.
