I hadn't had my nails done in 3 years since my wedding and was very excited to have an hour to relax finally. I have now had 3 of the manicurists from Chat Noir not only do an amazing job but they are also very friendly! My gel manicures held up against life with a toddler! I made an appointment for my 4 year old daughter and I a few months back, and didn't realize until I got to the studio, that I had forgot to hit send, confirming the appointment on my phone! We were really looking forward to some mommy/daughter time. I felt so terrible as it as totally my fault, and they made time for us anyway! I've been wanting to come here for a while to try it out, and I'm so glad I did!! The place was clean and the staff was so friendly. What I was most surprised at was the price was so reasonable. I was getting a lot of nails designs, so I expected the price to be at least $30 more, but it was only an additional $10. Emily was so great. She took her time, and my nails came out looking amazing! Love Love Love this place. I have had services with both Emily and Jillian. They are both fantastic. Every time I go I feel like I'm visiting a good friend. They make everyone feel welcome and comfortable. It's also The cleanest  nail salon I have ever been in. Chat Noir is hands down the best nail salon in MA. I had the same nail tech, living in FL for 10 years and it took me 6 years and many many more different nail salons until I found Jillian. If you're looking for a nice, calming atmosphere, where you can go spend an hour or more relaxing and getting beautiful, look no further. Jillian and Emily are both extremely talented and stay up to date on all of the new nail trends and technologies. They remember their clientele in terms of the way they like their nails shaped, to what kind of colors they often opt for, which is a lovely thing because you know when you walk in for your appointment, you know exactly what you're getting. They take the time to get to know all of their regular clients and I never walk out without one of them asking how my daughter is doing. They make you feel like friends instead of clients. If you're looking for a factory style, in and out, no conversation nail appointment, this is not the place for you. I wish I had a zero star.  What a terrible experience.  The OWNER is hands down the most unprofessional woman I have ever encountered.  All she did was bitch and moan about her personal life and gossip about some apparent bad hand in life she has been dealt.  I was so embarrassed for her that I could not wait for my service to be over.  I will never go back and I will be telling all my friends if this obnoxious women continues this behavior to all write a scathing review.  It would sure be deserved.
