Every single gel manicure I've received from this place has been SPECTACULAR! It does not chip at all for at least three weeks. And it peels off after that with little effort so I can remove it without having to pay to get it removed or having to use the 100% acetone which is so irritating on my skin. The service is professional. Not always the friendliest, but honestly I don't like conversations when I'm getting my nails or toes done. I like silence so I appreciate it greatly. Even the pedicures I've gotten have lasted and were done very well. I got one bikini wax and it was, hands down, the least painful experience I've ever had in that department. The nail techs are good and the smell is minimal compared to most nail salons, but these positives are outweighed by the Loud and constantly on TVs. I've asked to have them turned off and while they might reluctantly do so, another tech turns them back on not long afterward. I think it's more for their entertainment than for customers. I just find it annoying and takes away from having a relaxing experience. Also, the massage chairs don't always work and aren't the most comfortable ones out there. Been three times recently for gel polish after giving my nails a rest for over 2 years. My nails were good and strong at the first appointment. Had them done for the third time last week and they have ruined them. They grind the gel off with drills instead of soaking, and my nails are now paper thin and weak. I would never ever go there again - disastrous experience. They may be reasonably priced but they do not care for your nails at all. Beware. Read Less

my first time today visiting this salon used to got to mexborough ....i have to say im quite impressed so far i had acrylics whish i love .....i liked the staff very friendly and i was able to ask questions about the difference between gels and normal and finaly found out ..... they did say gels where better so im trying them next time ......i like the way the stations are set out and i liked the young ladies that put the polish on i wasn 't too sure of colour so they picked i love theook thak u so much........i was told by one girl to wait 5-10 minutes for them to dry ......then this lady said they where ok when i got outside and in my car i relised 3 were smudged a little disapointed i didnt wait longer ........i couldn't go back as we had to grab the grand babies ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,they are cheaper than my old place too so tahnk u Read Less

was very excited to come in based on a good reviews, sadly the services were awful. my nails are very bumpy and the woman did my nails keep ran out middle of doing my nails (couple times) and leaving me sitting around with wet gel nail polish. Definitely wouldn't recommend Hollywood nails. Both times I've gone they've made my nails bleed and carried on as normal even though my nails were bleeding, I then watched them use the same equipment they used on my bleeding nails, on another client, not hygienic at all!! Also the second time I've had them done my nails are not even at the bottom of the nail and they look like I've had them done months ago and I only had them done today! I've used this salon for a good few years and always been happy! I went last Thursday for a new full set, Friday 1 fell off, Saturday another fell off, so I went back and gave them the benefit he replaced both,I them had to tell the guy there half way up my nail so another nail technician came over and agreed so he did again another nail has come off today they look like they have been on around a month there are so far up the nail, very disappointing as a think a trainee could have done better!!! Had my nails done today at Hollywood for the first time instead of me doing my own. It Was packed out, I waited for 30 minutes which I knew I had to wait and got asked if it was ok to wait coz it was gunna be 1hr. I didn't mind waiting at all and it was very friendly. All I can say is I'm disappointed. I have tried this place several times to give them a chance to make things right with my nails. I have very little time to get my nails done because I have two jobs. I get acrylic nails put on and color as well as pedicures at this location. However I have noticed they have been rushing my nails the last few times I have gone there. I have acrylics put on they don't take down the whole layer of the old acrylic they only take a little bit off the bottom and keep the old acrylic stuff on Gross and then they rush to do the nails takes half the time than any other place don't cut the cuticles either so you have to ask them to do this. I've never gone to a nail salon before where they didn't cut your cuticles as part of the manicure. Within the first week or so even though I have acrylic nails and new gel put on my nails are already shipping and breaking because they didn't obviously remove the old acrylic. I'm spending more money and time going to this place to make things right. They rushed the job they don't do a nice job then more worried about getting as many people in as I can take. I'm not going back again now I have to go someplace else to get my nails done to fix the problems and pay the same amount of money a week later because these people don't know how to do their job. My gel nails are two and a half weeks old and still look fabulous! ( and this is with a job that's hard on my nails!)They took their time with my nails and made the pedicure relaxing and enjoyable.Only reason for four stars would be the decor and environment. I love this salon. I have been to many different salons, both high and low end, and this is one of my favorites. The first time I went, I had Evan (the shop owner) do an acrylic full set (I had taken my nails off a few weeks prior and missed them lol) and he was absolutely meticulous. He gave me the best full set I've ever had, and I'm comparing to high end salons even down in Los Angeles when I lived there. He is just a perfectionist. Lina then did my polish and she also did a great job, taking her time and making sure my nails looked perfect. (It helps that they are both very kind and make you feel like old friends.) The only reason I do not give them 5 stars is because I have had a few other people polish my nails (Although I always ask for Evan to do the fill) and they have been sub-par. One girl, although very careful and meticulous, got too close to my cuticles and flooded my nail bed with polish on a few of my nails. STILL worth going there... I am MUCH more picky than the average person with it comes to my nails. Overall - Go see Evan and Lina. I've been going to Princess Nails for many years. The owners are great people and make you feel like long-time friends. The staff, although there's been a bit of turnover in the last year, are always wonderful as well. I trust the staff here completely, knowing that I'll be happy with the quality of service received. The only reason I'm not giving Princess Nails five stars is because the atmosphere is terrible. The salon is very run-down and even appears dirty now. If I hadn't been going here for so long, I would turn around and leave if I walked in and saw the state of this salon for the first time today. Everyone who works here is so kind and hard working though--if there is a "salon makeover" reality show out there, these folks deserve it! I'm sure the appearance is driving away a lot of customers, new and old, which is unfortunate. If I win the lottery, I'm renovating this shop for them! Stop in for a wax or a manicure and don't let the run-down atmosphere cloud your impression... you won't be disappointed and will adore the staff members! Went to princess nails today and I must say I am extremely impressed beautiful work done by Lina one of the owners her and her husband Elvin are wonderful they are very personable very quick and very attentive to what the customer wants I went in for a walk in and they were so busy but Lina took me anyways she makes time for all her customers and even though she was busy she took her time and did a wonderful job I will definitely be back very clean salon! I will definitely be back!  This was my first time there and I was trying somewhere new after being disappointed at the place I had been going.  I wasn't sure about trying it based on some of the reviews but it was so close to work and convenient that I decided to give it a shot.  I really wanted a mani/pedi but was pressed for time so I just asked for a pedi.  She asked if I wanted a mani too and when I said that I didn't have time, she said they could do both at once.  I got a french on both and was in and out in just under an hour.  Sometimes the white line is too thin or too thick but I feel like Nina did it exactly how I wanted it.  Everyone was friendly, it was clean and very relaxing.  Very happy that I found my new spot :) Read Less

I had one of the best manicures here! I'm not sure why this place had gotten some negative reviews because it is brand new, clean, the service was fast and all of the ladies were so friendly. They were playing pleasant music and I was very impressed with this place especially with the reviews on here. I highly recommend! Well I been coming here for a while but not very often.. The girls are nice sometimes and then there other timea theyre so rudeee... My last experience wasnt very pleasant at all... I got burned with the wax in my eyebrow, she cut two of my fingers n then she messed up one nail when I told her to fix it cause I didnt like it she kinda said it was fine that it didnt need to be fix so I just left it like that cause I really cant understand what they say most of the time.  The other thing they have a special next to the paying station but with the deducted prices and is confusing how they do it...Will not be back in here, if im paying for a service it better be how I like it and thia time around it wasnt... The service was efficient and friendly and the place was clean. The main reason I didn't give this a higher review is that my manicurist/pedicurist was very rough on my hands and feet while I was there. It wasn't a relaxing experience at all and I ended up with a cut on my finger from where the manicurist was taking care of the cuticles.
