Been coming here for a few years because it's close to my home. The four main women who do nails are nice enough and my acrylics look good and last long regardless of who does them. They all pretty much know how I like my nails shaped and what not. The hygeine practices are definately a concern when it comes to pedicure tools. I have gotten pedicures regularly when I go in for a fill and more than once have seen them placed used gloves back in the cubby where they hold their tools and supplies. The tools are typically just rinsed off in water and placed back in the cubby. Once in a while some of the tools are dipped in a blue solution but overall these tools are not sanitized  between uses which is pretty gross.Fortunately I have never been cut or anything but I know if I were I would most likely get an infection but my  laziness in traveling far for a more hygenic nail salons prevents me from not returning. And honestly my toes and nails look great and last for a good 2 weeks.Another issue is that the owner is incredibly rude and unpleasant. She's not hard to miss as she always has a frown and just looks miserable. If customer service is important to you this is not the place for you. Don't expect to be greeted with a smile or even acknowledged when you come in.But if you want your nails and toes done for cheap than its fine. Yah...I won't be coming back. Came in and asked if they had time for a gel mani/pedi. The people were not overly friendly from the beginning. I understand there is a bit of a language barrier, but there are some things that are universal...like smiling! I sat in the pedi chair for 10 mins before someone (the woman finishing up someone else next to me) came over. They could at least say just a few minutes...the tools they used didn't seem all that clean and according to some other yelp reviews I have now seen...maybe not. Now I'm sitting here for going on another 10 mins waiting to get my nails done. Just tell me to come back a different saying day instead of saying you have time! Read Less

The worse customer service ever, i had an appointment scheduled and when i got there the gentleman at the counter is going to tell me that their busy I should come back and when I asked why schedule an appointment if you're not going to honor it, his reply was i don't care. I've been here on and off with acrylic nails from another salon to get a fill. Always a good job done. I recently went to get a full set and I went about an hour and a half before closing (horrible I know) but there were a ton of people there and I was one of the last people. I had a man put my tips on and cut them and then I was asked to move chairs, and after about 5 minutes a woman sat across from me and began to apply the acrylic and shape my nails. She did a great job and then she told me to wash my hands,  which is routine, I went back to my chair and she wasn't there. I waited about 10 minutes and a different woman came and started painting my nails. I was confused but whatever, my nails looked good. The next day, one nail broke at the tip, this has never happened but I was like OK maybe it was just meant to happen. I proceeded to peel the rest of the acrylic nail off and it literally just peeled off. I assumed this was because maybe when the tip broke it loosened the rest of the nail plus they were only a day old. The next day when I got out of the shower I hit my hand of the door frame and bam another nail popped off, not painful or anything. So I said what's the point in only having 8 nails, so I started peeling the rest of them off. They literally came off like press-on nails. I'm not sure if they didn't prep my nails properly or if they just use crappy quality products, but acrylics that last for 3 days max are a little ridiculous... Read Less

I am very surprised to see on the news yesterday that this nail salon was under fire for non-license and sanitary hygiene issues !!!! I went here a few times and actually didn't mind the Fills and pedi's I would get. Definitely cheap hence why I returned a few more times, but thankfully I did not get an infection or else there would have been hell to pay. Good job to the MA dept. Of health for shutting this place down! I don't care how fair your prices are or how good of a job you do, CLEANLINESS and sanitary conditions should always be #1 at a nail salon ! Read Less

I got a gel manicure here and the lady put on the gel as sparingly as one puts on nail polish so you actually couldn't tell if I had gel manicure or not--even with a magnifying glass. As one might expect, my nails started to chip and I had to file them because there was no reinforcement from the gel since it was on like regular nail polish. My thumb nail chipped and I had to cut it down to the shortest length. This never happens with a proper gel manicure because the gel manicure gives some level of reinforcement to the nails. The other gel manicures i have had the person puts it on in a raised fashion. Never again! Read Less

Very clean place.My first time here. I was very nice impressed. I never understood why but usually nail salons are very dirty. Tina Nails is impecable. I liked it very much. It is very inexpensive as well which makes me wanna return. Keep up the good work.Definitely 5 stars from me.UPDATE - Two weeks later the nails still look fabulous. Usually after a week if they did a bad job the nails start breaking but not after I got my nails done at Tina Nails. Definitely my favorite nails salon so far!!PROS - only $15 for acrylic???? I am very picky of who does my nails and they do a pretty good job.I usually get a fill with french and in order to keep the tips white, they have to applying the UV clear top coat. They do this for free, whereas some other salons charge extra! LameThe pedicures are not the greatest, but decent for the price. Read Less
