If I could rate Angela's Salon 0 stars, I would. I came in here today after being suggested to go here. This is different than my usual place - I usually get it done by an Indian lady. I went in expecting to get my eyebrows done NICELY. I asked for a clean up and this lady TORE MY EYEBROWS OFF. I asked for a CLEAN UP. I left the salon with eyebrows looking like TWIGS. She didn't even let me look at them and just had me pay right away. I was TRAUMATIZED. I am STILL crying for the past 7 hours. Are you KIDDING me. I'm trying to grow them out. I can't believe this. How will I make eye contact with people now? It looks like I only have one strand of eyebrow hair. Everyone laughed at me - don't trust this place. How will I ever, EVER learn how to trust AGAIN. Other than that - some of the staff were nice but the lady that did my brows was just REALLY unfriendly. I'm full of regret right now - pray for me. Just got my eyebrows done with my best friend mine are completely uneven and hers are shaped like a brick.. I also got my brows tinted I asked for light brown they made them black.. like I have red hair I look like a damn clown... Worst experience I've ever had in a nail salon. Made an appointment before hand but they still made me wait a half hour to be seen because "they were on break". Workers were extremely rude and constantly had me and my friend switching chairs and getting a different worker I'm not sure why. Atmosphere was very dirty as well as the way they do the nails. Loved this place when I lived here, but things seem to have changed. When you go in, they start on you to secure that you're not going anywhere, then leave you half done to start on another customer who comes in so that they don't leave....it took 2.5 hours for them to do my last full set, I was falling asleep in the Salon and my day was gone when they finally decided to finish, the quality was not good because they kept leaving and coming back to do one nail at a time. I do not recommend the lash extensions. The root of the lash extension is very poky and it irritates my eyes. They got very swollen because of the irritation. On top of that when the lashes fall out, it pulls my natural lashes with it. I've attached a picture showing you how bad it is. More than 10 lashes have been pulled out from just three pieces of extensions and it left me a bold spot on my lash line. I am very unhappy and worried because I'm not sure if the damage is permanent. It is also extremely uncomfortable to have those because the roots are very pointy and it keeps poking your lid. The glue is super tho. The lashes stay on strong even after a week. I was very uncomfortable and tried to use all kinds of oil to remove them but they still stay extremely strong. I am not saying this to hurt their business because the lady who did my lashes was very nice. However, I really don't want anyone to lose their naturally beautiful lashes like I did. Read Less

Thank you Sarah for doing such a wonderful job on my eyelash extensions today.  Sarah does exactly what you want at an affordable price.  ($80 for full set)  She has been located there for 11 yrs and knows her stuff.  She also explains in detail how to take good care of them to get long lasting wear out of them.Parking located right across the street in the parking garage.  Took her approx. forty minutes and I wanted full and long.  I love them!!!  Lots of compliments on them already.Super job!  I highly recommend Angela Salon if your looking for extensions.  I am sure all her other services are great too.Very nice young woman. I've been seeing Sarah and Anna for over 10 years! I love them and the services they provide. I have recommended them to many family and friends and everyone is more than happy with them too. I moved across the country a few years ago and I make it a point to visit this salon every time I'm back in the area. I have non existent lashes so their lash extensions really do make a huge difference. I feel naked without them. The lashes are applied with precision and care. There are different sizes (8mm to 14mm) and types (natural, flared, curled) to choose from. If you accidentally open your eyes during the service, the glue stings for a few seconds. This rarely happens since Anna and Sarah work very carefully! Each service takes 30-45 mins, which is the perfect amount of time to take a beauty nap :)I double heart Angela's salon! I definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a beauty boost! I even brought my mom and grandmother here for a treat. 3 generations for a day of beauty :) P.S. The salon also offers hair, nails and waxing services; all of which are equally as great as the eyelash extensions. Read Less

I heard from a friend that they do eyelash extensions so I went here. That same day and the next day my eyes were so sore in the amount of glue on my eyes hurt so bad. I called and went back the next day to have them removed ASAP and I asked the lady if she could give me half a refund because I just spent $80 on poorly done eyelashes and she couldn't even do that to satisfy her customer. She told me she was being nice not to charge me to remove them... Awful customer service. I ruined my lashes.  Not to mention I told her I wanted small natural looking ones and she ended up giving me large ones added in and they looked completely fake. Super nice ladies that work there, However I have been getting lashes for years. When I decided to go here instead of spa n Joli for a $60-80 fill I made a HUGE mistake. My lashes we're ruined. The amount of glue on my lashes ruined my natural lashes and come to find out the lashes were not even single lashes they were trios put in at a time. I Now go in Andover for my fill. This place is great!!! I just (about 2 hours ago) got my first bikini wax and armpit wax. I was really nervous, but Holly (my super friendly waxer) made casual conversation. That calmed my nerves a bit to get to know my waxer at a personable level. The initial 4 strips were painful, but after awhile you get used to it. So there I was laying nearly naked conversing with Holly about my love life and family as she waxed off my pubic hairs. It was therapeutic. I definitely wouldn't mind coming back! $35 for the Brazilian and $10 for the pitts. Super cheap! I live in Boston, but I usually visit Lowell every-so-often to see family. Now I have another purpose! Come lose your Brazilian-wax-ginity at Angela's Salon! P.S. Don't pee after you get waxed. It hella burns! This is my favorite place in Merrimack valley to get my nails done. They do shellac and gel right here, sealing in the polish so it will take like 4 weeks to chip. They also have really great pedicures. I also have had some coworkers come here for their eyelash extensions and love it. I think I'm going to try those next here. So, today I decided I wanted to go get a brazilian wax. I looked high and low for different places to go get it done near Lowell, and Angela's is as close as it gets, on top of the fact it was affordable.Not wanting to go too much into detail, I'm just gonna say, I'm happy w/ my first brazilian wax. The woman who had me was very nice, and a fast worker. Not afraid of the undergrowth, very professional. The wax was nice, and warm. I wasn't uncomfortable. But, I definitely was very nervous, and the wax was pretty painful, haha. I have a low threshold for pain, but it wasn't anything I couldn't handle. The end result was worth it. I feel nice and smooth, she got pretty much 99.9% of it, I probably have one or two hairs left. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with what I received, and will definitely go there again for my future brazilian waxes. I gave an extra star, because the staff are really friendly. Otherwise, I can't really recommend getting a hair cut here. I got a referral from my roommate, and her and I went to downtown lowell to run a few errands and get our hair cut together. They ruined my ends- uneven, and way to quick with the scissors. I was embarrassed with the style I was given and hid it away with a ponytail. I had to go elsewhere to get it fixed- and all I had asked for was a trim on my layers! They chopped off my layers- about 2 inches. I wish I took pictures, but I was frantic and embarrassed. The only way I could fix it, was having another salon cut off another inch and a half. Overall, I can't complain one bit about the eyelash extensions done by Sarah. It was quick, inexpensive, and looks fabulous.   Had I not only been in town for a wedding, I'd come here often. My only complaint was that GPS sent me to the MRT,  but the salon is actually downtown. I was able to call and get directions easily enough, it seems like its a problem for many. Read Less

Came to this place for a wax because I saw the good reviews and price! It was quick and painless. While I was there, I had noticed that they do eyelash extensions and decided to try it for the 1st time for my birthday. In my research, eyelash extensions range absurd prices of $150+...this salon does it for $80! The end product was fantastic! They looked natural and didn't fall out. I went later in the week to get them refilled and it was only $10. I also did my eyebrows there and left looking fabulous. I HATE places that over pluck them and then you look cholofied...NOT A GOOD LOOK LADIES...she left them just how they should. This review is for the lash extension service and eyebrow waxing.LOVE IT. Had my lashes done for vegas, they were so pretty I didnt need to apply make up to enhance my small almost eyes! They lasted for 4 weeks without touch up! Could have lasted more but I kept pulling on them. It was only 60$! most places will charge you over 100$. The ladies here are so nice! The extensions did not bother my eyes at all. My eyebrows were perfect. I asked her not to make it too thin and I love it. Will definitely come back when Im around the area. Read Less
